They have my personal information & keep texting me about an auto loan. Any advice on what I should do, in case my identity is stolen? This is very annoying & frustrating, since they apparently retrieved my information through an online application.

These people somehow got my number and keep sending me texts saying that my loan was approved with a link that auto populates my informationWhen I called them to tell them that I never applied for a loan and asked for my information to be removed, they hung up on meScam much?

calls later at least 2x a day I got very angry and the guy said I not trying to sell you anything "I want to ask you out on a date" I'm looking for a wife" he started getting really crazy and I hung up then started getting calls again the next morning and I have been telling them over and over again to please remove me from there list or I would report them to the Revdex.com they just hung up and called right back

My experience with this is identical to that of Samantha J., with the exception that before I called in to them I did my research online.
First, I found that this company's phone number on their own website is DISCONNECTED when you call them. This, coupled with the fact that the Revdex.com has an alert up saying that their mail is being returned REEKS of scam!
Also, I did get ahold of their "unsubcribe" department, as the foreign fellow who answered their 888 number so eloquently put it. I went over the riot act about fraud and reporting them to the authorities, and he kept trying to claim that I has somewhere "authorized" permission for them to spam me, and I went on to assure he in no way did I EVER submit any form, application, or ANYTHING AT ALL in regards to getting an auto loan. Which I have not. I am not even in the market for a car WHATSOEVER.
So he assured me I could speak to his supervisor if I "call back in 20 minutes", and he could get the information together for how exactly I got put on this text list, etc. He said his supervisor's name is "Andy J[redacted]" - which just so happens to be the same name that they have on their defunct website as a "satisfied customer" in testimonial format. Funny, right?
So, alas, when I called back, I did not get an answer.
Shocking, I know.
So, I also filed with the FTC over this, hopefully something will be done to correct this scam fishing company.

I have now received two texts from Champion Auto Loan, the most recent one reading: "Greetings! Amanda, Your Loan Request for Automobile Loan haw been Approved for Upto $17k With 0 Down, To Process Click- http://tinyurl.com/qz422tx?"
I never applied for an auto loan (I do not have a car). When I went to the link in the text, my information was auto-populated. I called the number on their website (401-648-9484) and when I said that I never applied for a loan and wanted my information removed from their system, they hung up on me. I called back twice and was automatically directed to a voicemail.
I think it's pretty clear that this is a scam.

I never applied for a loan from champion auto loans in Idaho or any where else. They sent me a text saying I was already approved they wanted my s.s. #.

Review: I just received notice that I have a contract for $25,000 from these people. I do not want this contract, I want it taken off the books and I do not want to hear from them again.Desired Settlement: contract is taken off the books. I never hear from them again.

Review: I have been getting harassing phone calls from this number. They refuse to stop calling when I tell them to. They are running a scam and when I asked to talk with their supervisor they said, "I am the supervisor" and kept asking my why I did not want a zero down auto loan. "But why? But why?" is all they kept saying. They also keep asking for someone else and I said take me off your call list and they refuse to stop calling. This has been going on for months.! It needs to stop it is harassment!Desired Settlement: For this person/business to be properly investigated. The harassment needs to stop.

Review: This company is harrassing me with phone calls everyday. I told them to cease and assist. They won't. I put a race on my phone this past Wednesday. They just called my house and called me a MFER. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. THIS IS ILLEGAL BEHAVIOR. I WANT SOMETHING DONE NOW!!! THEY ARE RUDE AND DISGUSTING!!!

Review: received text message on my phone about an auto loan I applied for. I never had applied with them before and they had my SSN on the text they sent me. I text back "stop I don't want a loan" they text "thanks for staying in touch, don't forget to add this number to you contacts list :). Sorry you seem to be having a bad experience. please tell us what we can do to make things better? We appreciate your feedback." I texted back " never applied for a auto loan please take me out of your system, especially my SS Number.

they never text me back, I tryed to call the number given on the link from the text message they just had to me on hold for 5 mins and then the automated system hung up.Desired Settlement: an apology and something stating my info has been deleted from their system and not shared with anyone else

Review: I have never done business with this company, but apparently the person having my phone number before me did. I have been getting calls from them for years, and they have even texted me a copy of the previous number holder's application including name address and where he or she works….. . including social security info.

I have talked to a [redacted], begged them to remove my number from their system. They always assure me they will, but a few hours later, they are calling again. I don't know if they understand English very well, but when I tell them my name is not [redacted] , they say they are sorry, or they just hang up on me. I am feeling harassed by this company.Desired Settlement: PLEASE, get this company to leave me alone.

Review: My wife's Co worker calls her and tells her that this business is calling her number asking for me and telling her that I have a Loan out and as sshe repeatedly tells them I don't know him which we don't know one another they tell her we know you are his wife and if you are hiding him you are going to jail and these calls have been going on for two years she has blocked them and told them to stop Calling she even put a complaint on them but my wife came on here to check out the business and sure enough they are frauds I would just like my info taken off and to stop Calling because never have I applied for their loan or have a carDesired Settlement: I just want my information off file and for them to stop harassing my wife's friend enough is enough already
