We have started the project ran into a small issue and overnighted product to completeWe expect to be done this week if the rains hold out long enough for us to get out there

In response to his final request, we are willing to honor the following:Your screens have been in our warehouse waiting to be installedPer your collaboration with our services team, you have a scheduled date of Dec4th to complete this service itemYour warranty is still in effect and will not changeYou have a lifetime warranty per your contractAll other open items have been communicated via phone and agreed uponChampion feels that we have resolved his open questions/requests and this can be closedThank you,

I am concerned that the inspector won't come to actually see the sunroom Also, Champion is putting their own slant to the problem in order to avoid doing anything Also, Champion never said what the company would do if the inspector did not approve the plans of putting in a/c There are enough complaints to start a class action suit against Champion However, that is the one thing I wish to avoid at this time....BUT if nothing is done to help us, that might be our only chance of remedy I want the inspector to come to view this problem [redacted]

Champion promised to install a/c-heating unit. However, we are not on their schedule. Please ask Champion to place us on their schedule.

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I never have said that I was happy with the installation of the product, the inexperience, and incompetency of the installation technicians. Nor have I been impressed with the lack of communication from this company, or how they have handled my window installation project. This was to be a simple one to two day job on a single level 900 square foot ranch home, with simple sash windows! The initial crew walked off of the job the second day, leaving two windows uncompleted, and the coil trim looking like a child had installed it. I had to contact Champion Windows since no one returned to complete the job, let alone call me to let me know what was going on. All that I signed off on was: That [redacted] , the Technician, had come and completed the three window trim recaps, to match the other ten windows, and had re-caulked the windows, where gaps had appeared, and re-appeared. [redacted] also ordered the replacement window screens, of which I am still waiting on. I only acknowledged that the window product itself was satisfactory, and that if n had it to do all over again, it would certainly not be with Champion Windows, nor will I Ever Recommend Champion Window to anyone, as long as I live! I was told that there was an insurance adjuster assigned to my case, and that they would be in touch with me in about a week. This apparently was a lie, and a stall tactic, and I have not heard anything back from Champion Windows, or their so-called "Insurance Adjuster". Don't figure... Further more, There was no prior existing damage to my interior window frames, or cracks in the new walls, texture, and paint. [redacted] , and his construction crew will all attest to this fact. I am still repairing damage caused by this awful experience. I have spent $50,000 on the interior of my house, over the last two years. Champion Windows needs to take responsibility for there faults. I will make it simple,m since Champion Windows does not want to make a counter offer, or send there insurance adjuster to deal with this! Here are my requests: I want a Formal Written Apology from Champion Windows of Fort Worth, And Acknowledgement of the said apology from Champion Windows Corporate Offices. I want my replacement window screens installed on my windows. Acknowledgement that the "Lifetime Warranty" is not to fix incompetency, and inexperience in installation. Freedom to express my my experience with Champion Windows Openly, and at My Discretion, on social media, and otherwise, without the fear of Retaliation of any sort from Champion Windows Corporation, and, or, Champion Windows of Fort Worth. And last, but not least: $1000.00 Cash Refund, in the form of a cashiers check, or money order. I will then call the financial institution financing my window project, and release the balance of the funds agreed upon. Regards, [redacted] ***

I just wanted to let you know that a $gift card was mailed out today for [redacted] ***, complaint ID [redacted]

we have fully refunded all of Mr***'s money

Update on Revdex.com complaint10/*** said job would start 10/with siding dropped off 10/6.No contact. Called 10/and receptionist talked to *** and relayed the message that the installer crew would contact me that day, and no response.Left a
voicemail 10/leaving ***'s (my wife) cell phone number stating I'm out of town which is why I didn't get voicemail right away.Oct 2:20pm Scott Howard left a voicemail about materials on the 23rd and install 26th. I returned his call and left a voicemail stating these dates would of course be finedays ago I saw the business' response that the install date was set for the 26th.I have received no contact since then and through COB 10/

I would like to believe Lone Star but I have been told "two Weeks" for four months now with no definite date set.I was told originally that installation would only take one day so two weeks does not sound reasonable.*** ***

I have been in contact with *** *** and am working to get resolution immediately*** ***I will update as it becomes available

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***,
and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute
Please see attached
Their "small issue" has turned out, and continues to be, "huge issues" to meI have been lied to SO many times, and due to the many problems I've had, this complaint cannot be resolved until the company makes it right by finishing the job(s) immediately, and making adjustment to the price I was chargedMy husband and I have taken days off from work due to the companies mess ups, and have spend WAY too much NEGATIVE time in anguish and frustration, and being MADThe response the company made today is a joke because this same day, they were supposed to be installing a patio cover, but once again I was lied to, and was told by a company representative "oh, I didn't know anything about that"A JOKE !!!!!
Regards,
*** ***

And very high THANKS to Revdex.com for your assistance

Although I accept the response, can you please tell me when you expect to follow through on this?

We went out to Mr*** home on the 3rd of AugustUpon inspection, we found that the room was closed and not ventilatedThe room frame is made of aluminum and the heat experienced was from the enclosure not the glassThe difference in temperature coming through the glass in the sunroom
versus our traditional window comes from the difference in thickness from our window glass and our season room glasswe offer types of roomsThe first is a 2" aluminum screen room, this room has no windows or glass, just framed screensThe second is our 4" aluminum room or our season roomThis room does not support the weight of our "traditional window" glass as it is 7/8" thickWe use a 5/8" thick glass in this unitTraditionally we do not use heating or cooling units in these rooms although occasionally we have offered the option where not prohibited by codeFinally we have our All Season room it is a 6" vinyl extruded room that supports the weight of our window glass and sliding glass doorsThis room is substantially more expensive and can use a heating and cooling unitInstalling tint on any of our windows will void the warrantiesEvery room we sell is not included in the "inhabitable" space of a home and therefore cannot be connected to the current HVACthe season room we sell should be ventilated for comfort during the summer months and will hold up against our temperate wintersI believe there is a misunderstanding of how the room was to perform but I hope this clarifies anything going forwardAs a gesture of good faith I will confirm the city code with regards to the AC unit and offer it if available at no charge but the *** will be responsible for electrical rewiringOf course this is only if the city allows it. Thank you

I have had no contact either verbal or written with *** *** from Lone Star ChampionThe agent who answers the phone can give me no explanation for the work not being performed
