I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Simm Associates did not make it clear that my payments were considered inadequate toward resolving my defaulted student loanThey gave the impression that making monthly payments were acceptable toward this end, presumably because they would rather have something rather than nothingIt is true, my financial situation has not changedIn fact, it has grown worse due to an unforeseen health crisisOf course, debt collectors like Simm Assoclive in a fantasy world where everyone has a wealthy family member or friend who is ready to fork over the entire amount to clear the consumer's debtI do not live in such a worldI am fortunate just to have a full-time job, and consequently, Simm is fortunate to get even $a month from meThey continue to "work with" consumers without providing so much as an account statement--a record of payments of any kind--for the protection of the consumerPresumably, I am supposed to just take their word regarding the amount of debt they are handling for their client and how much of my monthly payments are going toward resolving my debtThis is hardly standard business practice, even among debt collectors. They were fully aware of the mistake they made in withdrawing last month's payment from my checking account; yet, they make the consumer jump through hoops to "prove" that they erredI am through dealing with this company full of incompetence

[redacted]’s complaint originates from a student loan account that was most recently placed in our office on February 26, 2017. Her complaint states that she pays her student loans through AES on time and it is not her fault if the payment is not reported in a timely fashion. The reason for our calls and letters is due to Ms. [redacted]’s account going 60 days delinquent. SIMM Associates nor AES had received any payments at the time of this complaint. Due to the complaint Ms. [redacted]’s account was closed in our office and we forwarded it back to our client. Ms. [redacted] will receive no more communications from our office.
