Review: This site charged me $39 for a change of address due to their fine print we didn't realize it until after the payment submitted. Immediately we received an email stating it would take 72hours for the change of address to be submitted, so I immediately requested a refund. I was then informed they could reverse the request but couldn't refund the payment. Thend the lady informed me that it couldn't be reversed because it had all been submitted. I have contacted USPS and they hadn't received anything from this company, and I then had to pay again through USPS for the service that should've been already rendered according to [redacted] in the refund dept. Its also a mystery why the actual postal service only charges $1 for the same services. I believe as if we have been taken advantage of, and scammed. I have already contacted the local authorities that handle this type of thing to see what can be done. All I [redacted] is a full refund and to cancel the service with this company. I also requested a phone number and was told that they only communicate by email. All I want is an immediate refund especially since the services that I paid for never happenedDesired Settlement: A full refund, immediately.

Review: I was trying to change my address, and so I searched how to do so, and came upon the usps website. Well in the process of doing so I somehow ended up on the changemyaddress website, and I saw the standard charge of $1.05 to do the change, however my vision is not perfect and so I missed seeing the charge of $39.95 for some obscure services, none of which are helpful or wanted to me as a near broke college student on my way to becoming a doctor. So here is the main problem- I clicked on their webpage to 'proceed to checkout' and before I was able to see the full total of my order, I had been charged $41.00 for my order! My argument is that I was not able to see the full amount disclosed in any form of total price before I was charged! I was also not briefed on the services I was accidentally purchasing. This website is a clever way to ensnare consumers into accidental purchases and does not meet the criteria of an upstanding business.

I suffer from poor vision, and ADD, which directly influenced my accidental purchase. As soon as I received an email stating that I had been charged the extra $39.95 I emailed the company to try and reconcile my account and cancel the unneeded services. I also searched their website to find any way to explain the mistake and cancel the unwanted services, but this company provided no such information nor did they have anyway to cancel my account, even seconds after the mistake! I simply cannot afford this charge right now as I am in a very delicate financial situation and had the subtotal been disclosed as it is with any other purchase, I would not have unintentionally purchased this websites services and fallen into such a clever ruse.

Thank you for all your help.

Sincerely, [redacted]Desired Settlement: I desire to have the extra $39.95 refunded and all services cancelled.

Review: Recently requested a USPS address change. This site mimmicks USPS website and then charges 39 dollars to complete what can simply be completed on ones own. I am requesting a full refund based on the deceptive acts and practices of this business. Granted it is explained in the disclosures, anyone who has done a USPS address change before could easily be fooled by the similarity between their layout and that of this website. I requested a refund through the businesses customer service and was shut down by an automated response system telling me essentially "you it you didn't fully read and understand the terms and conditions, got you!". This website is a plague and should be held accountable for their actions.Desired Settlement: Full refund

Review: I tried to change my address and the website misrepresented being a third party to the usps & then charged me $39.99. I want my money back!!!! I read reviews after I was charged & MANY people have been through this & this is the only way I can even contact this "company"- it didn't have a phone number or anything. SCAMMERS!Desired Settlement: I want my money back

Review: I tried to change my addrest on what I thought was the ups website and after it charged me the $1.05, it also charged me $39.50. I didn't see anywhere on their site there was an additional charge. I have tried to contact the company and got no response. I would like a refund of $39.50 that I was not aware they would charge. This company shouldn't be allowed to charge people like this and should be put out of business.Desired Settlement: To get a full refund and to have this business be made to put all the charges up front and make them very visible to potential customers.

Review: I went to this site via [redacted] as it was advertised as the official USPS change of address site. It advertised as costing $1.05 for a change of address which is the official price for the USPS service. I signed up for the service and was charged $39.95. I was willfully deceived and I'm not even sure that the service that I paid for will be provided to me. I read other reviews and it says that they were charged multiple times. I am worried that this will happen to me.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for the amount that was charged to me. I do not want any service provided to me from that company. I would like my personal information to be removed from their system.

Review: I went www.changemyaddress.com and was charged 39.95 for something that was not supposed to cost that much I was unaware of the cost it was never displayed before processing my request. I don't know where to cancel the order and would like a refund for that charge.Desired Settlement: I really want a refund back to my debit card I didn't have 39.95 in my account and now it is over drafted I was under the assumption that it wouldn't cost more than a couple dollars not almost 40

Review: Hidden $39.95 fee for "change of address" not actually through postal service. Not even sure if my address got changed or not.

Was changed what I thought was going to be the $1.05, but there came an additional charge of $39.95. Can not contact company through "contact page." No options or way to contact. There is also a guarantee of refund on their terms and conditions page.Desired Settlement: I want my money back, and I would like that their site explain what the total charges are when actually submitting card info.

Review: On January 5, 2016 I went online to and typed address change to pull up the official USPS website. The first site that popoulated stated US Post Office Address Change. thinking this was the official USPS website I clicked on it. It immediately showed in blue letters us post office address change I clicked on it and entered my information tagain thinking I was on the official post office site. There was nothing there indicating I was not. After I entered my information I still was not showed that this would cost me 39.95 when I could have changed my address for 1.00 on the USPS site. I am on disability and cannot afford for 39.95 to come out of my account. This company clearly misrepresented itself. I would not have known if it weren't for me keeping track my transactions and looking for 1.00 to come out and was amazed to see 39.95. This is an atrocity to have companies like this take advantage of the elderly. Now I have no other re-course but to try and re-coup my money from the company itself.Desired Settlement: I want my money back.

Review: I sent a request to change my address via email not realizing this site is not affiliated with the USPS, but that's not the complaint. The complaint is that I have not received mail at my new address in over 3 weeks. The site states it should only take a week. All the mail addressed to the new address is deemed undeliverable and returned to sender.Desired Settlement: I'd like an explanation why my address was not changed with the USPS, and I'd really like my money back but the point is I want my mail.

Review: I recently changed my addres then realized we were not going to change the address. I also noticed the current addres was wrong they have written Pheasnat and the rd is Pheasant. I told them the addrss is wrong and we are now not changing the address so I would like a refund since there is nothing they are doing there is no reason they still need my money! I asked my refund less than 24 hours of orginally paying for it. there is no reason they need 39.50 to do absolutely nothing since we are nor changing the address. Please refund the 39.50!Desired Settlement: I would like a 39.50 refunded to my credit card

Review: I just moved to a new area in Florida and needed to change my address. I googled USPS and changemyaddress.com showed up as the top choice. I thought it was affiliated with USPS. I was wrong. When it charge me, I didn't realize that the actual USPS only charges $1.05 and this site charged me $40 to change my address and another $40 to change it with the DMV. I contacted them stating I wanted to cancel my order but never heard from them. I also looked for a phone number on their site and could not find one.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $79.95 charged to my card.

Review: I thought I was on a legitimate USPS website when I requested a change of address. It wasn't until after I submitted the information that I realized that I was charged 39.95 for a process that should only cost 1.05. The website had a link to contact them but it only took me to a page that said "not found". This company shouldn't be allowed to scam people in such a way.Desired Settlement: I want my money refunded.

Review: I had my son [redacted]. go to the US Postal service Website to change his address to my address as he has moved home . In doing this, he chose the top search site named "US Postal Service Change of Address". He filled out all the information and put MY credit card information in. (Last year I moved in our new home and did the same thing but I was on the correct US Postal Service website that charged only $1.50.) I checked my bank account this morning and seen that a charge was added to my account for $39.95 from Changemyaddresses.com. We were scammed into thinking this was the US Postal Service site.

I went on line this morning (04/15/2015) to search for any scams and sure enough it is. Also, CNN stated that it has been reported that they will continue to charge my card for items that I will not order......I tried contacting them on line but they state that their contact email server is down. Imagine that! It states on my bank account actions that Change my Addresses.com company that charged the $39.95 is out of Castle Rock, CO......But your site says New Jersey?Desired Settlement: I was misled as to the company that as I was dealing with and I would like my money returned to me by check as I had my Credit Card canceled, and ordered a new card, which they will not receive information on the new card..

Since there are hundreds of complaints out there as I now know from searching this morning, how come the NC General Attorneys office is not doing something about this?

Review: their web site is misleading it is set up so you think you are on the USPS change of address web site until you find that they charged you for it and you can not decline at all and they never show they are going to charge you any thing until after they have done so.

their web site is set up exactly like the US postal service web so you are not aware you are on the wrong web site because they have USPS all over it.Desired Settlement: That they remove the miss leading USPS address change from their web site it should be made clear that they are not the USPS and the charges should be post on the first page. or a decline service offered.

Review: Very deceptive website. I thought I was on the USPS website for change of address but in reality I had been directed to the changemyaddress.com site. After it was too late, I noticed that I had been charged $39.95 for a simple change of address. There are numerous complaints in the Revdex.com system about this company for the same reason so it wasn't just my stupidity that led to this. I immediately contacted them via e-mail and was informed that no refund would be given and basically they had "got me"!Desired Settlement: A full refund of my $39.95.

Review: I went online to change my address to what I thought was the USPS website. Yesterday I received notification that I was charged $39.95 for using a company rather then the USPS. I tried to contact the company twice using their Contact Us feature and received return to sender email notifications both times. This is the complaint I made with the company that was apparently not received.

"I received notification today, 11/12/14 that I was charged $39.95 to change my address because I mistakenly used what I thought was the official USPS website. I am now requesting the "All sales are guaranteed and a no-questions-asked refund is available if you are not satisfied with your order." refund that you claim to offer in your confirmation email. If I do not receive the full $39.95 refund within 72 hours, I will be filing a complaint with the Revdex.com. Moving is stressful enough without scammers like you taking advantage of people. Just to be perfectly clear, I expect a full refund immediately."Desired Settlement: I want them to honor their refund policy and refund the $39.95 charge.

This is a really good scam. I'm pretty Internet/tech savvy and they got me. Moving is stressful, crazy and hectic. A lot of people probably don't even fight this charge because they're so exhausted by the time the move is over and figure it's their "stupid tax". I wouldn't have fought it for a $10 or $15 charge but $40? What an incredible rip off!

Review: Was charged 39.95 dollars to change my address on this website without knowing that it was a scam website and not affiliated with United States postal service. Tried to call to get a refund and no answer on the phone number provided. USPS charged 1 dollar online for this service and I would like a full refund.Desired Settlement: Full refund from the company of $39.95 and no further charges.

Review: This website is a classic scam which tricks consumers into believing that this is the change of address service by USPS, whereas in reality this website charges $39.95 (this charge is hidden as a tiny font in a seemingly irrelevant description) and tell USPS that you are moving... Everyone could have done it with $1 identification fee.Desired Settlement: Full refund.

Review: I selected the (what I thought) was the united states post office change of address form, I did one for myself, and one for my company. It wasn't until the $39.95 charge hit BOTH my cards, that I figured out what went on. The company does not have a contact, the email doesn't go through, and not ONCE did I approve a $39.95 charge to change my mailing address. I know better, that it's free, or on-line at the real post office is only $1.

They need to refund my charges with in total is $79.98.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund, this is fraud to pretend you are the USPS, and then NOT disclose your rates.
