[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] My email to Chase Auto was not a confirmation of satisfaction.  Patrick called my home Wednesday,...

July 15 and spoke to my husband. He told my husband if I sent an email requesting my refund in the amount of $500 for my [redacted] Warranty, he would mail my check before 5pm on that day. And, he said he would deal with [redacted] Warranty to retrieve his $500. Until I receive the check and it has cleared, I will close this complaint. Today is Sunday, July 19 and I am still waiting for the check.  I spoke to Patrick on Friday, and he said he mailed the check on July 15, 2015

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Chase Auto Group has not reached out to me and has never responded to my phone calls or to the certified letter I sent. This matter was never close to being resolved. As of this date, even after multiple requests, the Chase Auto Group has never provided proof of payment of the warranty they promised with the sale of both vehicles. They have never paid any of the cost I incurred in replacing the engine, which would have been covered under the warranty, because they never paid the warranty premium as they said they had.

They are advertising a vehicle for $3,499. Called him and told him I was interested in test driving the vehicle. He responded quickly with "Come on down", and "don't forget your last two pay stubs". I told him I was interested and wanted to pay cash, and told him I would be down in 30 mins. When I arrived he had a bogus story on why the car wasn't there, and told me it would be there shortly. I told him I wanted to see it and offer him $3,000 cash. The salesman called me back and told me the ad was incorrect and the vehicle was $6,500.

I waited one week and checked the website, and the vehicle is still listed at $3,499. I also called back and asked if I can see the vehicle and he told me to come on down... but guess what??? I drove by and THE CAR STILL ISN'T THERE! What a bunch of liars. Read the reviews, I'm just another guy who they tried to screw.

To Whom It May Concern,
On October 7th 2014 one [redacted] came to Chase Auto Group and purchased a 2007 [redacted] (vin# [redacted]). The purchase was finalized as a very firm, No Return or Refund Policy, under the guidelines of signed Buyers Order....

[redacted] left a downpayment of Seven Thousand dollars that was done via her [redacted] Debit Card, it was a policy of her bank that she could not spend over a Five Thousand dollar limit per day. Due to this inconvenience we contacted her financial institution and insisted that they open tha limit to us for the full amount of Seven Thousand dollars. They allowed this process but broke it up into two separate transactions, allowing $4,978.67 to be finalized that night and also processed $2,021.33 that would be assessed by her bank first thing in the morning. It was her intentions to take said above vehicle that night but due to minor work that the customer had requested be performed and as Chase Auto Group does not accept any promissory notes, both parties decided to leave the car with us to perform the following. All new brakes and rotors to the front and rear of the vehicle, four brand new tire sensors, adjustment/ and or fix driver side door, an alignment and a throttle sensor. [redacted] picked her vehicle up on the 9th of Oct. 2014 after all requests were performed and satisfactory. On October 11th 2014 it came to Chase Auto Groups attention that the remaining balance of $2,021.33 had still not been processed. After a full day of trying to contact [redacted] she showed at at our establishment with her vehicle and said that she had visited the [redacted] dealership. She had some more concerns about the car. She then informed us that she had stopped her payment of $2,021.33. Her concerns were noted and we explained that we could take care of everything, even though this was a full AS-IS transaction. It is at [redacted] request that we terminate this contract and/or all service contracts and additional requests. [redacted] is accepting a settlement of $3,178.67 due to a breach of contract, mileage that accumulated due to her driving. restocking fees, advertising fees and for the services requested and accomplished stated earlier In document. This is not a refund as again we have a very firm no return or refund policy. Now therefore, the parties hereby covenant and agree as follows:1. Except for obligations required herein, [redacted] as well as his or her executor, administrators, agents, affiliates and assigns hereby waives, releases aid forever dismisses all claims (Inducting administrative claims), against Chase Auto Group, Inc. end as well as it's officers, directors, employees, agents affiliates, and assign that in any manner concern or relate to the car, the purchase, (he loan or any of the documents associated therewith agreement whether or not such claims are known, liquidated or anticipated,2. Except for obligations required herein, Chase Auto Group, Inc as well as it's Officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and assignees hereby waives, releases and forever dismisses all claims against [redacted] that in any manner concerns or relates to the car, loan, or execution of this agreement whether or not such claims are known, liquidated or anticipated. No executor can void this document

Review: I bought a used car from them and they didn't tell me that the car was damaged, that the car is actually worth $1,200.00 not $10,000.00 they are charging . The warranty that they told me to get t cover anything needed for the car will not cover the 4,000.00 worth of repairs needed for the car. When I took the car back to them to fix for problems like the door sensors ,the abs light that came on and also a week after I bought the car the check engine light came on.They promised to fix like the electrical door problems their mechanics were nasty and kept my car for over eight hours to then tell me they do not have the correct equipment for the car to be fixed to take it to queens. When I took the car to queens that mechanic stated he didn't have the right equipment either that I should go back to them. When I decide to take the car to a ford dealership they ran a diagnostic on the car showing all the problems that chase auto group inc. failed to express to me before I purchased the car. The told me they didn't understand how the car passed the inspection. Now not only do I have a car that is dangerous to drive but they charged me for more money to get the registration which they stated was with the amount I already paid. I went to the dealer one last time and spoke to me like an animal and told me its not hs problem anymore to try to have someone else take over the car payments before I asked the bank to reposes the car.I tried to get a trade in for the car and they showed me the car fax that the car had 5 prior owners and was worth barely 1,100.00Desired Settlement: I want them to pay off the lawn I took for the car that cost more to fix so it won't affect my credit anymore because I did what I needed to do they lied to have me purchase a car that could've killed me if I didn't get it off the road

Review: Purchased 2008 dodge caliber on 4/**/14. Dealer never said anything was wrong with the car. NOTHING!!!! No as is. Nothing. A week after driving the car, a warning light came on. I looked in the owners manual to see what the light was about. It's the throttle control light. Basically, the car loses power but corrects its self. Ok red flag. Took the car to the dealer, for an oil change, and we have some issues. Brakes, struts, oil pan leak and a few other things. Dodge said $2200. 00 worth of work. Went to the dealer and basically he said, none of those things is covered under warranty, but if I give him $1100. He would fix it.Desired Settlement: Full repair at dealer cost .

Review: I went to the buyer requesting a car that could handle snow and had good traction. I already had a SUV, but it needed some repairs. The dealer told me it was piece of garbage and if I was willing to trade he would sell me a car which can "most definitely" handle snow and a my hill". My friend who was with me, asked him repeatedly "do you have a vehicle that can handle snow, hill and is reliable"?, he hugged her and assured her that we have come to the right place. They then pointed us to a Chevrolet HHR 2006. Upon showing us the car, we saw the engine light and the ABS light on. There was also a strong smell of cigarette and a very dirty interior. We were told however , not to worry they would detail the car, and do what was necessary to make the car road worthy. We waited for 1 a week after paying our deposit and when we were finally given the car, it had not been cleaned ,no remote key was available and the car still showed engine light and ABS light. We commented on this and the [redacted] gave us (what he said )was an extended warranty to take the car to the dealership. He also said we should only use high grade gasoline and the engine light would go off. We did as he said and the fix engine light did not go off. The car was unable to climb my hill neither could it be driven in snow. Also , Whenever petrol was put in the car it would not start for upwards to 20 minutes. We called and notify the dealer of the problems we were having with the car and he said, " it is a used car, what did you expect?" We requested that he fix the problems that we originally got with the car and he said " Think I'm stupid, how would I maintain a business"? We took the car to a dealership in Connecticut and the dealership representative said there were too many problems on the car and the warrant which we showed to them , was not theirs and could not be honored. We then took the car to another dealership in the Bronx and we were told to notify the department of motor vehicle immediately! They refused to work on the car , but rather said that the warranty was not valid, the car had not passed NYS inspection and that we, (in essence) were in possession of an illegal and a messed up car which would cost us a lot of money to repair . We called the [redacted] of the business where we purchased the car and told him what we were just told. He (the [redacted])got abusive and threatening and thereafter, refused to take our calls. We called the financial company and informed them of the problems we were having and they suggested that we ask for a change of vehicle or a refund of our money. We contacted the dealership and made this proposal to the [redacted] and he declared "not going to happen"! To date our request to fix the problem has been met with deaf earDesired Settlement: I can no longer trust this company due to their dishonesty in advertisement, their deceit in practice, their disrespect and threatening manner and their stark intimidation. [redacted], [redacted] speaks directly in one's face with loud aggressive voice, threatening manner and disrespectful words

I am afraid of this man ,deadly afraid! I am therefore, asking for intervention into this matter.

Review: "I purchased a vehicle from CHASE AUTO GROUP located on [redacted] in the Bronx on July [redacted] 2015;upon leaving the dealership, the radiator exploded and due to tansmission fluid spilling on the floor the car was not operable. After taking the car back to the dealer for repairs I was told the car would be ready the following day Jult [redacted] 2015. The following day after the car was said to have been in perfect and intact working condition, I drove the car for 35 minutes before the check engine light appeared on the dash board. I then took the car [redacted] to have a full diagnostic report on the car. They ([redacted]) advised me that the car was not safe for operation and that I should return the car for a full refund. I was also charged an additional $1,000 USD to my credit card for w warranty policy cars protection plus. When I contacted the warranty company I was informed that I was not an existing client with said company leading me to discover that the $1,000 USD that was charged to my credit card had been stolen, because I did not received the services I was promised for a fee upon purchasing the vehicle.

After all of the time and expenses within a 3 day period I decide to return the car for a full refund in which the dealership declined.Desired Settlement: "To return the vehicle for a full refund" Cost of vehicle $7,900 plus additional fees charges on sales receipt total amount = $10,000.

Review: I went into dealership to purchase a vehicle. I was interested in a mazda and informed the salesperson of this. I also informed salesperson that my budget did not allow me to pay more than 1500.00 down. I was told, at this time, that the down payment was ok and I was told to pay 500.00 down. So, I paid that and it was at this point that I was taken to finance and told I had to pay 2200.00 down. That was never agreed to on my part. After telling them, once again, that this was out of my budget I was showed other vehicles which I was not interested in and was practically forced or coerced into agreeing to going for a vehicle that was not on the premises. The vehicles that I was shown were all way over mileage, rusted, heavily damaged or not big enough in size for my family. At the end of the day and after 4 trips there to see different vehicles I requested my 500.00 to be returned. I was told that it would not be returned because the salesman took time to show me vehicles and they needed to be paid for that. It is not fair to me because I would have never made a down payment if I would've known the vehicle that I wanted was not in my budget. It was clearly their fault that they did not have me go to finance prior to taking my monies. They are not entitled to keep my down payment. I was not interested in any other vehicles and I stated this several times. I'm not obligated to pay a salesperson to show me cars. No one ever told me that figures could change after seeing a finance person. They were just unprofessional in their dealings.Desired Settlement: Return my money

Review: On Tuesday November **, 2013, I had put down $3000.00 on a Silver 2001 BMW X5 in which the originally price was approximately $10,995.00. This vehicle has over 120,000 miles on it. I had done a test drive on it and it seemed to drive well aside for it needing a wheel alignment. I was not informed of any other malfunctions the car had. I was told they would perform the wheel alignment and I would be able to pick it up on Wednesday November **, 2013. When I arrived Wednesday the wheel alignment had been done and the contract of sale was finalized. As I drove home I noticed that the steering wheel would get stuck every time a turn was made. I was told that because of the wheel alignment being done earlier that day it just needed to be driven so that it could be broken in. My wife who is presently [redacted] is the primary driver of this vehicle and it is used to pick up or son from Pre-k as well as to get her to and from her doctors’ visits. Due to the steering wheel getting stuck during turns, she has almost gotten into 2 accidents; one on a local street and the other while entering a highway. I myself had almost gotten into an accident because of this. I have contacted the dealership and have requested to have the car exchanged due to this major problem as well as other issues that the vehicle also has (I will list them later on in this letter) and was told that wasn't possible due to the fact that the contract had already been forwarded to the bank in which I had financed it from. I then contacted the bank and was told that they hadn't received the contract as of yet and that the vehicle could still be exchanged if I felt it wasn't safe. My wife and I brought the car in to the dealership on Friday November **, 2013 and spoke with [redacted] and told him all of the cars issues which include, the steering wheel getting stuck on turns, the hazard lights not working, the button to unlock all of the doors doesn't work, the license plate light had to be changed, light inside of car for the passengers in the back also had to be changed, the heater made a loud rowdy sound when on, when being driven the car makes a whistling sound, the back window wiper doesn't work, and the rear-view mirror shifts when the car is in motion even after it has been adjusted. [redacted] informed me it could not be exchanged, the mechanic tried to see what he could do to fix the steering wheel, but he couldn't. [redacted] guaranteed me that he would have the part the next day to fix the steering wheel. Something out where the engine is located and that seemed to help the hazard lights and he told me the button to lock and unlock the doors should work, but it still doesn't. Once we left the dealership several indicator lights began to appear such as the check engine, check brakes, ABS and something else that I'm not sure what it means. This morning (Saturday November **, 2013) my wife was supposed to take the car in, but called [redacted] to make sure everything was in and that the mechanic was there. He told her he had to contact the mechanic still, but that he would get back to her, which was at about 10 AM. At around 10:45 AM she called him back and asked him what was going on since he hadn't gotten back to her and he said the mechanic was in, but apparently the dealer for the part doesn't make any deliveries on Saturday and that he was trying to see if he could get someone to pick it up. At about 11:20 AM [redacted] called her and told her that the dealer didn't have that part in stock and it would have to be ordered and it wouldn't arrive until Monday. I then contacted the dealership myself and they had no knowledge of what was going on between [redacted] and I and had no idea my wife and I had even went to the dealership the day before.Desired Settlement: For us, having a vehicle is a necessity and I don't appreciate being taken advantage of. They had no problem taking $3000.00 from me, so I don't understand why they're giving me such an issue to having this car exchanged.

It is crucial that this car be exchanged; I fear for my entire family including myself safety.
