Jessica was very helpful and made the process very easy.

Universal Solutions, Customer Service (Jessica T.) contacted me regarding free sampling of the product they represent (Max 25+). I tried the product and it worked as well as a degreaser. I like the fact that is also can be diluted. It was very nice to work with your people, (Thanks Jessica T.)

I was contacted and decided to try out the product. Although they weren't a good fit for me, it is no reflection on the products themselves. Customer service is amazing and a pleasure to work with. Michelle in shipping and Daniella in customer service both get A+ ratings from me.

I had questions regarding the Max 20+ cleaning abilities. Jessica *** was very helpful in answering all my questions and was also very knowledgeable in their products. Thank you for all your help and I look forward to using your products.

They called me stating they would send me a product to try that would be ***% satisfaction guaranteed.

I would not have to pay if I was not satisfied. They sent me an email with fine print saying that I would have *** days to return product.

THEY CALLED OUR COMPANY AND SAID THEY WERE SENDING SAMPLES. WE DID NOT ORDER PRODUCT, HOWEVER THEY SENT PRODUCT TO US WHICH WE DON'T NEED. NOW THEY ARE SENDING INVOICES TO US AND WOULD NOT ACCEPT THE PRODUCT TO BE RETURNED. THE PRODUCT HAS NOT BEEN USED.

from Big 3 Precision did NOT place an order. *** did. *** who identified himself as a Plant Manager placed two orders with our corporation. The very first order contained our signature cleaner and degreaser. Big 3 paid that invoice. The second order contained those same products however in addition, two NEW products were sent out in that same order on a trial basis. Since those products were never ordered before (the two new trial products), we had credited the account as is our policy. The rest of the order stands as is. I am including documentation to show that the issue is internal within Big 3 as to their purchasing policies. *** says to *** in one email "you are not authorized to purchase." It is not for us to decide if *** is authorized or not. This is especially important since *** did purchase from us previously and Big 3 did in fact pay us on check #XXXXX dated January 24, 2018. All orders sent to Big 3 are always emailed to the person requesting and always have some read notification that we know they have opened the email and read it. We do that to avoid this type of situation. *** opened the confirming email and clicked on a box to show that he indeed read the confirming email for the order in question. We had provided all of this information to *** N. including all documentation. We will be happy to work with *** on discounting options for Big 3 to clear their balance, however, we cannot allow the return of products that have been out of our quality control over 30 days and since Big 3 received these products in April, we are unable to resell. Again, we have credited the two products, allowing Big 3 to keep them as a courtesy, but the invoice for the other products which are reordered products they've bought and paid for previously stands as is.

There was no order placed by our company. We do not place orders without a purchase order. We have told them to pick up the product. They can either pick it up or it will be destroyed.

Our final response is that this corporation has never sent any documentation that a purchase order is required to order material. We have proof they have paid on a verbal purchase order before to our corporation and if their policies changed, they should have contacted us whereby, we would have required a PO to ship anything. They never did provide any new policies, but did confirm the order. Final response is that we will try diligently to work out an amicable resolution, but need them to contact us to do this.

Their sales team (Kristen and Brandy) is every positive and helpfully. They far and beyond the call of duty. They are experts on their products. They don't let you run out, and I thank them for that. I love working with this company.

My accounting contact, Gabrielle P. is a pleasure to work with. Her customer service skills are on point. She takes the time to contact me to take advantage of any discounts available. American Research Khemicals is a great company to work with. If your looking for American made products that are also ECO-Friendly, this company will exceed your expectations. Our company is in the food manufacturing business which requires Food Grade Qualified products. One of our favorite products to use is the "Green Bite Degreaser." It removes the grime and saves time! I highly recommend this company as it stands out from all the rest.

vendor will not allow return of product that we did not order for refund
vendor shipped cleaning products that were not ordered and/or authorized by ***. vendor shipped to an RTG location and then bill SEIDS for something we did not order.

This corporation has been issued a full credit. Due to the nature of the corporation being on site providing deliveries for a different corporation, our company wrongly billed a delivery company when we were to bill the actual warehousing company. Our billing information was incorrect and this matter should have been rectified last year. We have sincerely apologized and issued full credit.

This company sent an unauthorized shipment of chemicals to our site, and refuses to take them back. This is the same as the other complaints.
This company contacted our Maintenance Manager and said they had free samples to send to our plant. They were told we did not want free samples, but sent them anyway. They claim that since we did not hang up the phone, we agreed to take their product. They claim that they do not need our consent to send us product and invoice us for it.

After reading these complaints, and seeing their company rated horribly across the internet, it is clear that they do not operate in a way that American law prohibits.

Desired Outcome

This company will take back the product they sent to us and issue a credit in the amount of $1,484.12 for the invoice they submitted to us. This company will cease and desist from contacting Lehigh Hanson or its affiliates.

In dealing with cement, this corporation probably does not understand that those who live in glass houses should not throw stones. Upon review of Lehigh, their online reviews are no better, if not worse. Their Facebook rating shows mostly 1 star reviews (out of 5, 0 not being an option) and employee reviews on Glassdooor/Indeed are worse. I have attached documentation of the confirming email where our company policy specifically states THESE ARE NOT SAMPLES. We have never offered samples, just a generous trial time to try our products. I've also attached a document providing proof that this corporation READ our policy through read receipts and notifications in addition to a second party verbal confirming conversation. They clicked that they read our terms and conditions. Our corporation has attempted to contact them 23 times since 2/28/18 to resolve any issues. Mostly, after we were told they were issuing a purchase order which was taking time, we were hung up on and told not to email them any correspondence, rather, they would contact our corporation. We welcome an amicable resolution.

Unfortunately, this company has not been truthful in its response, and we do not accept it. We have not promised a PO, because we did not place an order. We issue a PO for existing vendors as our policy for doing business. Opening emails do not constitute consent to accept a shipment. This company is not a standing vendor and we do not plan to do business in the future.

The only solution we will accept is to have our "account" with them brought to $0 and accept their unopened material back. We will pay the shipping costs back to them as a token of good faith.

In response to the last comments, had this corporation not hung up on our employees many times and not responded after 23 attempts, this situation would have already been resolved. Our corporation would never send out our products on our cost simply because of an email being opened. This complaint is not valid simply because the person making it is not in fact the person that business was conducted with and so, is misinformed by his co-worker and/or subordinate. We welcome, if intact, and unopened Lehigh to return our products for full credit. Our products speak for themselves and do not need to be forced on anyone. Due to our strict return policies since we are a chemical manufacturer/ wholesaler, all returns MUST have a return merchandise authorization to be accepted into our warehouse. We again, would strongly advise Lehigh to contact our corporation to obtain that for a safe return to receive a full credit.

Deceptive sales tactics and refusal to stop soliciting via phone.
The company uses deceptive sales tactics with trial periods on their products.
This supplier has consistently practiced "cold calls" to our company and aggressively processed their product orders without formally processing their orders via customer credit cards, or assigned purchase order numbers, which is a pre-authorized customer order approval. This customer consistently process's verbal orders without documented customer approvals, and consistently refuses the returning of their unauthorized products. My company has received a bill for $2,119.68, which is not approved for payment .

Desired Outcome

My company is seeking to have them provide a Return Authorization of their products and issue a freight will call to pickup up their products. We would also like to have a credit memo regarding their invoice submittal to our company on 02/19/1018.

In addressing the complaint, our corporation was never given written notice of the company's purchasing policy in which the complaint was issued through. This was the fourth order placed with our corporation and so we, have provided a document showing a business relationship dating back to 2015. We always provide documentation several times before shipping any product to avoid situations as these and have documentation that the order in question was reviewed and read several times by the corporation. We have full documentation to provide this. Finally, due to the nature of our products being chemicals, we only allow returns within a (more than generous) 30 day time frame. As we represent our lines, we must make sure that storage or any tampering is in our complete control to resell the product. Despite these facts, several attempts were made to settle the invoice at an extreme discount. We welcome the opportunity to reach an amicable resolution.

This company will call and ask to send you a free sample of a product. They will tell you on the phone that the email following the call will have a price on it but that it's not an invoice but they just have to use it for inventory and shipping purposes. After 30 days they WILL send you an astronomical bill 10 times the price of anything you can get from home depot or somewhere else. If they call you simply hang up on them and don't give them your company address. I have reached out to them to return the unopened product and they won't take it back.

Shady sales practices
Fell victim to the same reported complaint. I cannot take possession of an obviously overpriced cleaner without mfg eng or safety dept to sign off on. Caller/salesperson assured me it was for us to try to see if we liked it. I was unable to get it approved. The invoice came and I was floored by the cost. Again we were told we could try and return if we did not use it.
Here is the e-mail correspondence and at no time did they ever discuss limitations on returning:

This corporation returned all of the order (in question) that was shipped to them on 4/11/18 which was received into our warehouse and fully credited at that time. They do not owe any outstanding balances. This was the third order placed by their corporation. The first order was on 10/7/14, paid in full. The second order was on 9/14/15, paid in full. The third was on 2/9/18 which again was returned to our warehoused and credited in full. There is no outstanding balance for this corporation.

Total Scam, hang up immediately.
Typical scam, stay away at all cost, hang up immediately. They called and did their sales pitch on the Maintenance Manager. He specifically told them he did not want the product and he could lose his job over it. He did tell them they could email him a list of their products for us to take a look at. They sent the product anyway along with a free gift that could definitely cost him his job. Now they wont send a call tag to return the item and of course it is some simple cleaner you could purchase from Home Depot for a 1/10 of the cost. They say since a follow up email was sent to the maintenance manager who does not have time to check his email that confirms the order. Total scam, we will not pay, they are dealing with a real corporation that has dealt with scammers before. What a bunch of retched people have no issues jeopardizing a mans job used to support his family.

The person who made this complaint was not involved with any order through our corporation and thus, has provided false information. I do not believe he actually represents this corporation simply for the fact that our company allows trial periods to try our (non-simple not a Home Depot household type degreaser, but privately manufactured and have a 20+ year proven track record in opposition to this man's comment) I don't believe this corporation even had the opportunity to TEST our product and it's proven power because according to our agreement, this corporation returned IN FULL to our warehouse- unopened, IMMEDIATELY the trial product and AT THAT TIME, received a full credit. We issued an RMA exactly per our terms and conditions, with no question since payment is always based 100% on Satisfaction. Documentation can be provided to show that Return Authorization was given and product was received back. This again, leaves me to believe that the complaint is unjustified by a third party person who does not have facts. In addition, all terms and conditions WERE emailed upon order reciept as is always a policy with our corporation BEFORE anything is sent to trial. There are 'scams' out there, but we do not feel that sending pricing, terms, conditions, etc BEFORE sending an order AND REQUIRING ELECTRONIC RECEIPT OF THOSE TERMS BEING READ, warrant a review as this. Again, this corporation was NEVER INVOICED one penny since they returned the trial product within the trial time.

It was my pleasure to work with Erika K.. She has been very good to us, and went above and beyond all that was asked. Thank you for such good service.

Its a scam. Exact same thing happened to me. I took the cold call and accepted a "free sample". They sent me an email to verify the shipping address. They were 1 number off from having the correct address so I corrected them. Only after I got a bill for $1100, I went back and saw "This is to confirm your order of:" in small print further down in the email. I tried to explain I am not authorized to order things and that there was no discussion of ordering anything other than a free sample during the cold call, but they demanded their payment anyway.
