Photos of the mud tracked through my home by the moving crew along with an email from the company with no mention of having offered booties, as they claim they did[redacted] was informed during the booking process, that Chester County Moving and Storage does NOT provide bootiesIt is the customers responsibility to purchase them and our crew will have no problem putting them onThis was clearly explained in the booking process, as it is explained with every customerOur moving estimate with no mention of having to spend over $on paper padsAgain [redacted] was informed that we could not keep our blanket onthe truck for two daysWhen asked if he would like to purchase paper pads then, he responded that he would figure it out on his own, but let us know if he needed anythingThe bottom line is this: **and [redacted] paid for services renderedTheir move was performed and was properly handled by our crewChester Couunty Moving and Storage stand by the conclusion that there is no refund due at this time

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: there are many factual inaccuracies in the response from Chester County Moving and Storage 1) I was told it would take days from the date of submission of damages, which was 6/4/ 2) My "harassing" phone calls would not have been so frequent had I been informed of the day policy upon submission, and if they would have bothered to call me back when I left voicemails I was not as rude or derogatory as the voicemails, both my wife and I received today from CCMS 3) Not once was I contacted by Ms Emily C [redacted] about the damages and how they occurred While I will concede the movers did put blankets on top and the sides, there was no, NONE, ZERO, ZIP, nada, at the base of the dressers and desk As I stated, the one mover, I believe his name was Joe, pulled everything from the back of the truck to the front so the other two movers could move them into the houseCausing damages at the base of these itemsThis could have been clearly explained to her upon her "investigation", but she chose not to call me or visit me to find out what I saw with my two eyes during the move 4) If they would check their records, they would see that [redacted] ***'s signature on the line where the final amount was paid and the name on the card was that of [redacted] *** So while [redacted] may have been the one who ordered the move and used her card, that we share by the way, it was actually [redacted] who paid the bigger balance 5) I was told an a letter dated 6/30/that I would be refunded $100, which I thought was absurd due to the amount of damages that were done, but not even that was done until today 8/5/and was it applied to my card, which just so happens to be the day they received the complaint from me through the Revdex.com Odd timing6) I would like to know who their insurers are and file a claim with them and allow them to finalize what the damage is and is not from the move7) I ran a moving business for years and this is a disgrace for the industry Their reviews on [redacted] , [redacted] and others should have been an indicator, but obviously we failed there in doing our due diligence in finding a reputable and honest company Regards, [redacted] ***

This customer scheduled a move with Chester County Moving and Storage LLC on 1/16/Our contract was sent to her via email on that same dayWe received a signed completed contract back on 1/17/Page three of our contract is in regards to her valuation coverageIt clearly states that she is covered under the $cent per pound per article valuationOn 1/21/2017, our three man crew arrived to her residence and began the loading processThe box in which is being claimed, was packed by this customer and our crew still moved it without an issueAs they were taking the box off the truck the bottom of the box feel out due to not being sealed by the customer properly. On 1/24/this customer called in to file her claim and was immediately issued a claims formIt was explained on the claim form that her valuation was $cents per pound per article. On 1/26/we received her claim form back in which she stated that the contents were valued at $It was then explained to her again that as per our contract which she signed, she is covered by the valuation of $per pound per article and the box is weighed at ten poundsTherefore granting her refund of $6.00.This customer then contacted the office stating that she didn't know that and had not read her contract before signing itIt was explained that it is not the responsibility of Chester County Moving and Storage to ensure that our contract is read and that if there were any questions she should have contacted the office to discuss. The refund of $was issued this morning and at this time there is nothing further to be doneWe have the documentation to prove that she had a certain coverage and that is what her claim was processed with

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Just to clarify - Chester County movers did not show up by 10:that morning, it was not until I contacted them after 10:that they informed their truck had mechanical issues they did not say they ran into traffic as well When movers arrived, they did not have the boxes we ORDERED nor did they have instructions to pack up anything They did have spare boxes, but only dish packs which cost significantly more than the boxes we ordered (we did order a couple dishpacks, but certainly did not need those for everything) My sister absolutely had a problem with how things were handled, she was in tears half the time I called after they finally arrived over and over to get the packing orders straightened out - that is when they were not answering my calls or calling me back It was only after that when my sister contacted them - they had not attempted to get in touch with her anytime before that.We are talking about a bedroom apartment for an elderly lady, who had not been living there for over months, things were not spread all over the place Since they didn't have enough boxes to pack everything, it should not have taken as much time to pack as estimated They were aware of the furniture that was there and so wrapping and breaking down should have been included as well Since they didn't have the proper instructions, they were not able to do the work scheduled until they were given permission by dispatch Additionally we should not be charged the time they were at the storage area when attempting to work out a compromise for the cost, subsequently leaving and returning My sister never left the area before payment was received In fact, I was talking to her on the phone while she was across from the movers when someone called to say she wasn't there I told them then, that she was standing right in front of them in full view Maybe this is another one of their attempts to fraudulently get more money out of people? My sister signed the receipt added a note that we disagreed with the cost and that is when they ripped it up and left the site When I immediately called Chester County movers, she said they would not accept that as a signature That is the only reason I agreed to have my sister sign for the delivery They left us without any options whatsoever, not only is it bad business practice, but it seems on the verge of illegal I told the lady I spoke with on the phone that we would be contacting Revdex.com and disputing the additional time through my credit card company, both of which has been done.I am in no way trying to get out of paying, but I am only willing to pay for the actual services rendered, poor as they were.Regards, [redacted]

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: At this point, we are not making any progress going back and forth over the details I disagree with your version of how things unfolded that day My mistake was not checking review prior to using you....if you look at Yelp and other social media, my issues are not unique I never outright refused to pay, I asked to speak with someone that was authorized to listen to my complaints and adjust my bill accurately Additionally if it is your version that the receipt my sister signed saying she disagreed with the charges was not ripped up, then I would like to request a copy of that receipt Regards, [redacted]

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] This claim via the Revdex.com is to receives the monies for the hardwood floor damages so until I receive a check for $to fix my floors, this claim will stay open Regards, [redacted]

First, I was required to sign and pay according to their movers before they moved anything off the truck, thus holding my possessions hostage until I paid and signed, what I was told was a receipt of goods It clearly states in our confirmation packet as well as the information for shippers form that is mandated by the PUC that "the unloading of belongings is not to begin until FULL payment is made." Who and when did I tell what happened? there isn't anywhere on the claims paper to put what I saw happen Chester County Moving and Storage used the information provided from several voice mails and emails to determine what [redacted] sawThere was no additional information needed from [redacted] to render a decision. My next step is going to be contacting an attorney and the Pennsylvania Utilities Commission about this company Their blatant disrespect for my family and my belongings is just pitiful If [redacted] feels that contacting an attorney is the best choice then that is fineWe maintain our decision

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Unfortunately, the vendors response is inaccurate My last contact with Chester County Moving and Storage was initiated shortly before Thanksgiving sometime during the week of November 17th -24th (I have already contacted [redacted] and asked for a history of the calls I made to them from my number as backup) I did not initiate my complaint to the Revdex.com until December 17th (the two month mark from the date of the move) In the three weeks between my last call to Chester County Moving and Storage and the submission of my complaint to the Revdex.com no attempt was made by the vendor to contact me by mail, email, or phone to give us a status on the refund I believe we have been more then understanding and patient on this matter In addition at no time was I told a clerical issue was preventing the refund from being issued I was only told that the manager had not been to the office in over a month to be able to approve the refund We were also told on several occasions that the refund was going to be issued in "the next few days" Given that we are now going on almost three months without the refund I will believe that it is going to be issued "as soon as possible" when the money is back in my account Finally, the mover did not work hours According to their own paperwork the move time was 11:00AM - 5:30PM which is hours(The discrepancy may be that the movers were due to arrive at 10:but they were an hour late)According to the quote that Chester County Moving and Storage sent to me the amount should be: Move Rate: [redacted] equals $Fuel: Extra Truck: Total: $Estimate $Difference: $ Regards, [redacted] ***

Good Afternoon ***, After reading the Customers complaintWe feel that the events discribed by the customer, we feel are very inaccurate Chester county movers Take pride in or reputationSo with that being said We would like to offer this customer a settlement of $

On March 13, Estimator contact the customer in regard to his request for moving servicesThe customer was provided an estimate via telephone and asked if the estimator could send it via email to further review with his wifeThe customer called back at 11:06am and was ready to book his move for 3/15/with an arrival time between 9-10:00AMHe was notified, in order to book a move with us we require a $security deposit which non-refundable and deducted from the estimate he was providedThe customer proceed with the providing payment information and was advised that he would receive an email with the receipt from the transactionThe receipt also states that the security deposit is non refundableAt 12:15pm the customer contact the estimator and told him that he wanted to cancel the payment because he charged the wrong card and also that he needed to switch his move date but was unsure of the new move dateThe estimator then told the customer that he would have the supervisor on duty contact himWithin the hour the supervisor contacted the customer requesting he send an email authorizing the changes he is requestingHe then states he never told the estimator any of that and he told him he wanted to canceledAgain the customer was kindly notified that the security deposit is non refundable and the estimator provided the information upon securing the depositThe customer was upset and speaking loud about getting his deposit back and said that he will contact the Revdex.com and disconnected the callWe here at Chester County Moving and Storage have customer standards and value them to the utmostAt this time will refund the $security deposit because we do not want any negative burden hindering businessThank You

"I hired Chester County Moving and Storage to transport my furniture from two locations into my current homeThey arrived nearly three hours late with a truck that was too small to hold all of the furniture that they agreed to move." [redacted] was scheduled for a move on Tuesday June 28th, with a start time of 3-4:pmIt was explained to [redacted] , when she secured her move with our company, that there was a job before her and it was possible that it would go over in timeThis is why the movers were lateOur crew leader attempted to contact [redacted] several times to inform her of the time change, all calls were never answered [redacted] received a foot truck which holds an estimated cubesWhen [redacted] secured services she never mentioned that her furniture was larger then most, so we sent a truck to fit the items that were listed which totaled an estimated cubes"These items were specified in our contract and included a sectional sofa, coffee table, end table, fireplace mantel, armchair and two wardrobesThe furniture that was unable to fit into the truck was left behind" While at the first pick up location, [redacted] added additional items to her list, even after the crew leader explained that it may cause an issue at the second location [redacted] told him to proceed with the move [redacted] signed an additional items waiver, stating that there were items that were not listed"I spoke with the company's supervisor and she agreed that the company would follow up and move these items at no additional charge." We were going to send a couple of guys out to her residence , and then [redacted] herself brought it to our attention that our crew stayed an additional hours at her location the night before for no chargeThat is $worth of services rendered, therefore if she would like us to dispatch a crew it would be a four hour minimum"In addition, the furniture that was moved sustained significant damage, as did my homeI have these photos availableWhen I refused to pay for the service, I was told that if I did not pay in full, the movers would not unload my furniture and would take it back to their storage facility." [redacted] was informed via the telephone on the day after her move, that even though no damages were documented, we could file a claim but it would take anywhere from 60-days in total to process the claim [redacted] then stated "That is fking ridiculous I'll get my money somehow." It clearly states in our contracts that the unload will not begin until payment is made in full [redacted] signed that contract , so she was well aware of the process "I paid in fullI have attempted to contact the company several times in order to have the rest of my furniture delivered as specified in the service contractThey will not return my calls." [redacted] called the office the following morning and the issues at hand were addressedThe issue was then followed by an email responseWe are handling [redacted] s damage claim in the order it was received [redacted] not only paid for services rendered, she also received additional services at no charge [redacted] is not due a refund and her damage claim will be processed in the order it was received

"On May 9, I hired Chester County Moving and Storage to move my family and I from our house in West Chester, PA to our current residence in [redacted] UniversityThroughout the move, in which I watched from beginning to end, I heard many of my objects knocking into my walls and floorsDuring the move, the one mover, yelled, "Oh, ***!" and I came to look at what happened and he put a hole in my wall going down the stairs to the foyerHe apologized and said he would fix it, but there was nothing there that could have fixed that sized holeFollowing the move I went through the West Chester home and noticed scratches on the floor from sliding some of our heavier items in the dining room and a long scratch and a nick on the upstairs hallway from something be dropped and drug on the floorWhen arriving at the destination I watched as the one mover would drag the bottoms of our furniture, which was not coveredThey did a great job covering the sides and the tops of the dressers and desks, but the bottoms where the feet were, were not covered at allSo as he would drag the dressers and the desk from the back of the truck to the area where it was being unloadedI even told him to watch it and he said, "it'll be ok." Needless to say it wasn't okay, as the desk has extensive damage to not only the base but the top portion (it's two separate pieces)Two days later I called to put a claim for the damages we noticed that weekend and was not called back until I called times over the course of the weekI was told I needed to fill out a form and have a quote for the flooringSo after getting a quote for the floor damage and taking many pictures I forwarded over the information on 6/4/I called between 8-times over the next weeks to find out what the status was, but kept being told it was being investigated by the claims departmentNot once was I called, nor did they want to come and look at the extent of the damage their movers createdThen on 6/30/I received a certified letter from them stating that my complaint was reviewed by their claims department and that my claims for damages to the floors and furniture were denied and the whole in the wall was going to be refunded at an amount of $that was to be credited on 6/30/and should take 3-days for processingI emailed them on 7/and 7/looking not only for an update on the $credit, but also who I need to speak with in regards to their claims, because I did not agree with the assessmentI also left multiple messages looking to talk to someone about thisIt has now been almost months and way too much time of mine to continue deal with this situation that should have been necessaryI am beyond frustrated with them and feel like they are stealing."Chester County Moving and Storage processes damage claims in the order in which they are received [redacted] is not the person that secured the move, nor the person who made payment, and yet, we allowed him to file the claim anywayWe informed [redacted] that the process takes anywhere from 60-days to complete the investigation and make a decision and he said he was fine with thatWe then face many harrassing phone calls and emails about how we were not moving "fast enough"[redacted] placed a claim for damages to a dresser, a desk, his floor, and the wallAfter an investigation, Emily C [redacted] the head of of claims department, concluded that the desk and the dresser claims were denied based on the fact that our movers use padded blankets and shrink wrap to secure the belonging BEFORE moving them into the truckHis claim for the floor scratches were denied based on the picture that were providedThere is no way the scratches were caused by "dragging furniture", someone sat down with a sharp object, and repeatedly scratched the floor. The claim for his wall was approved, based on the fact that our crew documented the damage on our paperwork, and [redacted] ***'s card was refunded $on August 3rd[redacted] claims to have left several messages and sent countless emails after he received his denial letter, and we have one email and one voice mail from [redacted] ***As soon as the refund was processed Chester County contacted [redacted] and he did not answerWhile we are sympathetic to the situation, Chester County Moving and Storage followed procedure before, during and after the move, and [redacted] is due no additional refund
