Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I brought car back a second time for already for correctionsNot only was the problem not solved, but it forced me to see what other problems were caused by your shopLike lug nuts not being properly torquedTransmission fluid not filled to proper level after paying for a full flush and refill serviceBrake fluid that was not flushedThat by the way the service manager himself stuck his finger in the brake fluid reservoir and said to me that it was doneSo, the mechanic did not do the jobWhich is confirmed by the front brake bleed valves being frozen in the brake calipersAnd, the service manager could not tell the job wasn't doneI had to bleed part of the brake system myselfAnd, add a quart of transmission fluid that was supposed to be added during a $serviceHow can you warranty work that was not doneAnd or, was not done properly by taking it back to the same shop that had two attempts at doing the job right? Only solution other that a refund for the transmission, both brakes front and rear services would be to take it to a different *** dealershipI will not bring car back to a shop that clearly is more interested in doing work under flat rate time
Sincerely,
*** ***

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: while GM Corp has stepped up to help with some of the cost of the engine that is know to have a lot of problems Chevrolet of Milford has not for the mechanics poor workmanship with the broken manifold that was released with it leaking CO into car and making my daughter sick and charging us for it saying they can't blame there mechanic, and then service guy Paul trying to convince me that they do not touch the manifold when they change pistons and now they want me to believe the boss on the block broke by shear coincidence knowing that the only way that can brake is if was hit or pried against when they had apart. So I am Not Happy with this dealership and am left with paying because that is the best they can do, and we need the car so I am left without any other options
Sincerely,

he is having. Waiting to hear back from customer at this time.  V6 Sedan Google Chevrolet Of Milford   5.0 /5 in the last week I brought my car in for an engine oil and filter change along with rotation of the tires. A transmission shifting problem. A transmission fluid flush was suggested of which I approved. A shudder in the brakes when stopping. And, the brake fluid flushed from the complete system. The engine oil and filter were changed. Engine compartment was clean as was top of engine. No spilled engine oil. The tires were rotated correctly. More on the tires later. The transmission shifting was a problem with the shifting program. It needed to be reprogramed. After reprogramming shifting points were almost undetectable. Very smooth shifting. This reprogramming would have been covered under warranty, but car was out of warranty. Also, the transmission fluid was flushed completely. Not just emptied using a fluid vacuum and topped off with 5 quarts of transmission fluid like other shops. It was done using a machine that empty's all of the transmission fluid including the torque converter which holds quite a bit of fluid. There are no filters in the transmissions anymore as in the past. Now, it's just a screen that can be cleaned by back flushing the system. Which is done by the machine. Don't let other shops fool you by say this expensive procedure needs to be done. As for the brakes I was told the brake pads were very worn and needed replacement. And, the brake rotors need to be cut for a smooth surface. All stated work was performed. After driving car for a few days a continuous grinding noise was heard from one of the rear brake disc. I brought car back to Milford Chevrolet. I went over my concern about the brakes with Robert Griffin (Service Manager) who re-inspected the car. He informed me some additional work was needed. And, that the additional work would be covered under the original work receipt. As a mechanic with previous dealership background I can tell you that it's rare for a shop to cover additional work free of change. This is something you will not experience at a local price cutting service only shop. As for the additional information on the tires. During my first ever visit to Milford Chevrolet I brought my car in for a vibration problem in the front end. They looked at the car. And, told me nothing was wrong. Except that it needed a new set of tires. This was in contradiction to the non-Chevrolet dealership that I bought car from. But, Milford Chevrolet was correct in their diagnosis. I had a set of new tires installed at a tire only shop. Problem was solved. As previously stated I did not buy tires at the dealership. I instead bought them at a tire only shop. I found out during this visit that Milford Chevrolet would have done better on the price.

Complaint: [redacted]
When given the opportunity to make good on the complaint from my mother, [redacted] offered free oil change, but only mailed one 10% off oil change coupon.  This oil change was not free, nor would it come close to making good on a $1,700 error.

Only after receiving a formal complaint, did [redacted] attempt to contact me.   At the time my complaint was submitted, I spoke with a Revdex.com representative on the phone who explained to me that I should be communicating through them at this point, as I had made the decision to bring in a 3rd party after not receiving resolution from [redacted] or Chevrolet of Milford. Given the chain of events, I feel this is the only possible way that a resolution may be met.   It is my hope that they will look at the big picture, work this out with the warranty company themselves and amend this situation.

A complaint was also submitted against the warranty company with the CT State Department of Insurance as there was a lapse of service on their part as well.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
