We used Chi Renovations & Design for our Kitchen remodel and was very pleased with the final resultsOur designer (Nicole) was able to get us a 3D rendering of our vision during the very beginning of our design phase and it looked awesome! The subsequent design meetings were pleasant and funOnce construction started, we had a great relationship with our project manager (Eric) and the subcontractors (Ceddo and Rene)We would HIGHLY recommend the subcontractors that we had through Chi Renovation & Design! Throughout production, the contractors were always courteous and on timeThey took the design to heart and made sure everything turned out exactly like the drawings from our designer! The only one disappointment we had with our kitchen renovation project was with the cabinet company, [redacted] CabinetsThere is no showroom to see the actual product and their website apparently had wrong information when it comes to material selectionIn addition, once we ordered and paid 100% of our cabinets, we had to wait weeks before they arrived when we were promised 6-weeks of productionAnd there was no explanation as to what happened to productionRegardless, now that our kitchen is completed, we are very happy with the end resultWe would recommend Chi Renovations & Design for their awesome and professional team! The design fits our lifestyle completely and everybody in the family is enjoying the wonderful space we now have!

Larry at Chi Renovation did a complete kitchen remodel for us last fall and we had a great experience with themIt's always scary to hire contractors and we've had some bad experiences in the past that made us wary but what choice do people have? I did a lot of research online and based on reviews and meeting with several businesses, we decided to go with this local companyOur new kitchen is beautiful and truly feels like a completely different roomLarry was easy to communicate with, kept us informed, and cared about making us happy while also managing our expectations as far as what was realisticWe stayed on budget because he was always straightforward with us about our optionsHe also has very good relationships with his subcontractors as they spoke well of him and seemed to care about making sure to do good work for himWe plan to hire Chi Renovation again to remodel our bathroom and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others

We hired Chi Renovation & Design to redo our kitchen entirelyOur kitchen was done in and it was pretty shoddy work and the appliances had gotten very oldWe did not change the layout to where we would need to do any plumbing work but some electrical work was done Larry worked with us to finalize the design of the kitchenHe got us in touch with some stores and people for the materials and he managed the whole processHe let us know when we needed to go buy our appliances, sink, light fixtures etcHe coordinated with the appliance store so that the appliances do not take space in our house for weeks before they were neededWe send him pictures of the backsplash we wanted and he took care of the purchaseHe would come over when it would work for our schedule and he was very responsive and very flexible throughout the process The crew was absolutely greatWe have an open floor plan in our house and the kitchen is in the middleBefore they left every day, they would clean up everything and take out all of the trashThe crew came early one of the days because we needed to talk to them so that we are not inconvenienced by being late to work Larry also got us in touch with someone for the countertop that had a gread selection and took a lot less time to finish the countertop than other places we had talked toAlso, we ended up needing to have a bit of the floors refinished which was not planned/budgeted for and they did not ask for extra money or delay the work in order to get that done When the plan had to change a couple of times because things couldn't work out the way we had planned, Larry advised us and made sure the revised work was still to our liking When one of the drawers that was delivered was the wrong design, Larry came himself over the weekend when we were free and installed the right one It was a great experience and we would rehire them in a heartbeat if we had any more renovation work!

I hired Chi Renovation & Design to upgrade a tiny ensuite into lush bathroom area Jonathan, the designer/ project manager was right on with his design options and pricing I had shopped around before hiring them so I knew their price was goodAdditionally, I had read former customers reviews of their experiences and was further reassured by their reports My project took longer than I had anticipated but it was well worth it Everything was done as promised( and some) within budget In fact the professionalism, trustworthiness and cordiality of the workers was refreshing The material and workmanship was top notch and the finish product was great Its was pleasure to do business with a company of their caliberI would definitely hire them for another renovation

We recently completed a project with Chi Renovation & Design and were pleased with the work Lior was prompt when providing an initial quote, which was detailed and clearly presented In the aftermath of damage to our lower level from sewage backing up, we required the reconstruction of baseboards, drywall, and carpet installation All of the trades associated with the various parts of the job were professional and skilled, and the result of the reconstruction looks great! Lior and his team even finished the job in less time than expected and cleaned up after the project's conclusion We found the total cost for the services provided to be reasonable and would highly recommend Chi Renovation & Design

Chi Renovation and Design remodeled two bathrooms in our Chicago home It was an excellent experience from design to finish Their professional staff helped us visualize the bathrooms that we wanted and transformed the project into more than just updating old and outdated bathrooms to completely customizing everything, from minor fixtures to overall design What was really impressive is how flexible they were during the project Not only did they accommodate design changes mid-stream, including ordering different fixtures, but they were also able to address a big plumbing issue that we discovered after getting behind the walls They were also extremely clean during the entire process--cleaning up after every day I would strongly recommend Chi-Renovation for any bathroom project and any remodeling project for that matter

I did a bathroom renovation in Lincoln Park, Chicago and selected Chi Renovation after talking with several designers and contractorsI picked the company because I really clicked with the designer on our initial consultation and felt like not only was she incredibly friendly and organized, but she also really aligned with my vision on the projectFrom there, things went incredibly smoothlyGranted, we had the whole project designed about four months before we even began it, but everything ran on schedule and the communication was really great, even when I was out of town on business tripsAny time there was a minor tweak or change, I was consulted, and I think the resulting project was even better as a result of those changes(For instance, I waffled several times on the countertop before settling on a plainer versionThen, the counter came in defectiveBy that point, most of the bathroom was finished, and my project manager called to see if I'd like to switch to a quartz that was in stock or wait on the original oneWe realized that a slightly more ornate quartz, which I'd actually considered earlier, would look best, and we switchedThat quartz was in stock and installed the next day and made the bathroom look even better.) Other than that, we expanded the shower to a frameless glass shower, put in a standalone tub, added new light fixtures and completely retiled the roomAll in all, it was a great experience

Chi Renovation did a wonderful job renovating our one-bedroom Streeterville apartmentEveryone we worked with (including Julia, Tom, Ron) was professional, responsive, and attentive to our needsWhen we first met with Tom to get an estimate, he suggested design ideas and was very detailed in his approach and really listened to what we were trying to do with the spaceOnce the project got going, one thing Chi Renovation did that the other contractors we considered did not do was provide a designer to work with usHe was very consultative and helped us realize the design we were looking for -- from cabinets to colors, flooring, hardware -- everythingAnd Ron was great to work with as the project managerAlways available for my questions, walked me through any issues that required immediate attentionOnly a couple of delays that were related to building management and re-ordering cabinets, but everything went smoothly and as designedI would highly recommend Chi Renovation if you're thinking about any renovation work for your home

The renovation took about weeks from demolition to finish productWe did not change our cabinets, just repainted and changed hardware through a different vendor but our contractor Ron worked very closely with themRon made sure all the timings worked out with sub-contractors like the painters, electrician and appliance deliveriesThere was a small hiccup with a delay with the floors since the vendor had those on back order, but Ron was on top of it and worked hard to get it done in a timely mannerWhen we upgraded our light fixtures in the kitchen we decided to upgrade our light fixture in our dining room and Ron was very accommodating in getting that done tooRon was on sight when the appliances were delivered to make sure there were no issuesIt was a great pleasure working with Ron and Chi Renovation and I would highly recommend their services
