We decided to use Chi Renovation & Design to remodel our master bathroom. Not only did they come in on budget but the work was done beautifully. They even had ideas we didn't originally think of. Every detail was executed to perfection.

The service was great and the project was done on time for a large party we had planned. All of our friends loved our new bathroom. We are definitely going to use them again on future projects as our home is older and we have many remodeling needs. Highly recommend.

We are thrilled with our remodeled kitchen that Larry [redacted] and Tom [redacted] of Chi-Renovation designed and constructed! The team from Chi-Renovation were excellent to work with throughout the project. Larry and Tom explained in full detail the remodeling process and listened carefully to what we wanted in the new kitchen, our timeframe, and our budget. Their team members were punctual, conscientious, and careful to leave our condo in good order at the end of every working day. The cabinets and the roll-out shelves that were installed have given us more space with better organization than we had before. Chi-Renovation's granite and appliances contacts were very good to work with too. Everything with our kitchen remodel came together on time and on budget and we couldn't be more satisfied. Larry at Chi Renovation did a complete kitchen remodel for us last fall and we had a great experience with them. It's always scary to hire contractors and we've had some bad experiences in the past that made us wary but what choice do people have? I did a lot of research online and based on reviews and meeting with several businesses, we decided to go with this local company. Our new kitchen is beautiful and truly feels like a completely different room. Larry was easy to communicate with, kept us informed, and cared about making us happy while also managing our expectations as far as what was realistic. We stayed on budget because he was always straightforward with us about our options. He also has very good relationships with his subcontractors as they spoke well of him and seemed to care about making sure to do good work for him. We plan to hire Chi Renovation again to remodel our bathroom and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

Chi Renovation and Design remodeled two bathrooms in our Chicago home. It was an excellent experience from design to finish. Their professional staff helped us visualize the bathrooms that we wanted and transformed the project into more than just updating old and outdated bathrooms to completely customizing everything, from minor fixtures to overall design.

What was really impressive is how flexible they were during the project. Not only did they accommodate design changes mid-stream, including ordering different fixtures, but they were also able to address a big plumbing issue that we discovered after getting behind the walls. They were also extremely clean during the entire process--cleaning up after every day.

I had been wanting to remodel the kitchen in our condo since we moved in 6 months ago but honestly I lacked the vision & wasn't exactly sure what I wanted. The folks over at chi renovation were very patient with me and really helped me figure out what I was going for.

I knew for sure what my budget was and they did an amazing job of giving me the beauty I wanted all while staying within it, which was supremely important for me.

If you are looking to have a bathroom remodel, we recommend Chi with great enthusiasm. My wife and I interviewed three different bathroom remodeling companies before finally finding the right one. Chi Renovation ultimately had excellent design and superior construction. Nicole was sent out to help us create the vision for our master bathroom. She not only has great design skill, but she has a great eye for style. Throughout the design process, she ensured that the overall look would be one that coordinated with the theme of our home, something that was very important to us. Nicole spent a lot of time gathering materials and presenting them to us in our home. She made it very easy for us and gave us amazing options! The other part of our great experience with Chi was the construction crew. Eric was our foreman and project manager, who established excellent communication with us right from the beginning. Eric always checked in on the progress and never left us hanging. He is very detail oriented and you could just tell that he takes a lot of pride in his work and the work of his crew. We are so pleased with this remodel!

We hired Chi Renovation & Design to redo our kitchen entirely. Our kitchen was done in 2002 and it was pretty shoddy work and the appliances had gotten very old. We did not change the layout to where we would need to do any plumbing work but some electrical work was done.

Larry worked with us to finalize the design of the kitchen. He got us in touch with some stores and people for the materials and he managed the whole process. He let us know when we needed to go buy our appliances, sink, light fixtures etc. He coordinated with the appliance store so that the appliances do not take space in our house for weeks before they were needed. We send him pictures of the backsplash we wanted and he took care of the purchase. He would come over when it would work for our schedule and he was very responsive and very flexible throughout the process.

The crew was absolutely great. We have an open floor plan in our house and the kitchen is in the middle. Before they left every day, they would clean up everything and take out all of the trash. The crew came early one of the days because we needed to talk to them so that we are not inconvenienced by being late to work.

Larry also got us in touch with someone for the countertop that had a gread selection and took a lot less time to finish the countertop than other places we had talked to. Also, we ended up needing to have a bit of the floors refinished which was not planned/budgeted for and they did not ask for extra money or delay the work in order to get that done.

When the plan had to change a couple of times because things couldn't work out the way we had planned, Larry advised us and made sure the revised work was still to our liking.

When one of the drawers that was delivered was the wrong design, Larry came himself over the weekend when we were free and installed the right one.

It was a great experience and we would rehire them in a heartbeat if we had any more renovation work!

increase her demand. At this point, her demand of $1500 is in writing. Chi Renovation is happy to accept her offer and refund her $1500 in exchange for a release drafted by our attorney. She must also remove all complaints and reviews from all websites and write no reviews on the internet about Chi Renovation.

Having recently moved to Chicago and purchased a condo, we were nervous about hiring a company to help with renovations because we didn't have anyone with personal, local knowledge. After reading several reviews, we reached out to Chi Renovation & Design to get an estimate. From the first meeting with Sergio, the designer, until the final walk-through at the completion of the project, we had an exceptional experience.

Even though we were under a tight time crunch due to upcoming house guests, Sergio and his team was able to complete the project under time and under budget. Our project required trouble shooting due to a difficult curve in the brick wall, but Sergio and the team were able to solve the problem very quickly and exceeded our expectation.

We would recommend Chi Renovation & Design to our friends and family and will use them in the future!

I'd recommend Chi Renovation & Design to anybody - and will preface my review with the note that I am in no way an easy customer.

Our story: My fiancee and I recently purchased a 3 bed, 2 bath condo in downtown [redacted] that was in need of some modernization. We hired CR&D to paint the bedrooms, install custom closet systems, custom window ledges, and put down ~600 feet of hardwood throughout the living room and hallways of the unit (as well as remove the existing laminate that the previous owners so graciously left behind).

Design & Materials: We called these guys about 1 week before we closed on our place, as we closed on Aug 27 and needed to be out of our rented place by Sept 30. [redacted] (from the design team) arrived the day after we closed and gave the place a once - over, and then discussed wood options for the floors. We didn't come to a decision that day, so we scheduled a follow-up on September 4 where we looked at a few more flooring options, made a decision, and had [redacted] order the material on-the-spot. On September 5, [redacted] came back over with the project manager, [redacted], for once final discussion prior to work starting.

Work & Installation: The very next week (September 8), [redacted] and his crew arrived to begin painting. The work was done in a matter of days, and done well. After the painting was completed, we experienced an unfortunate lag in processing (not CR&D's fault - it was Home Depot) for our floors, so we went a week without work being done. [redacted] and [redacted] kept us up-to-speed on the delayed material, removed our existing flooring, updated timelines accordingly, and reassured us that the work would be completed within our reasonably tight deadline. After a week of anxious waiting, the floors came in on September 19th, and [redacted] had his crew work all Saturday the 20th to complete the installation of the hardwoods. Coincidentally, on the same day, we had carpet installed by another company, and [redacted]'s guys worked seamlessly with the carpet folks to make sure that nobody interrupted the respective work going on in various rooms of the house. By the evening of Saturday, September 20, our work was completed and completed well- 10 days ahead of our move deadline and on budget.

Issues/Problems: As far as a home improvement project goes, this one came with very minor hiccups. As stated, there was a processing delay in the wood from the vendor, which CR&D couldn't really do anything about. Beyond this, one threshold between our entryway hall and guest bathroom needed adjustment, as did a few structural mounts in our custom closets. [redacted] scheduled time immediately to fix the highlighted problems and was extremely attentive to our requests.

Pricing: Very competitive and fair - you'll be hard pressed to find anybody who hits their pricepoint & craftsmanship.

Overall: These guys won't let you down. [redacted] did a great job helping us choose the design elements of our flooring, and [redacted] executed each arm of the project on time and with ultra-prompt communication and world-class professionalism. We are truly grateful for their hard work and will be hiring them again this spring for a kitchen re-design. A+

We are over the moon in love with our kitchen!

We are very happy with our experience with Chi Renovations. We interviewed a few contractors and felt a bit like Goldilocks – we looked at one that was just too much – customized everything and required relocation during construction. We looked at another and it was too close to “do it yourself,” which we certainly didn’t have time for. We then talked to Larry at Chi Renovations and felt like we found the contractor that was “just right” for us. Our project finished about a week early, and stayed on budget. The craftsmen were skilled and courteous. We couldn’t have asked for more. Chi gave us exactly what we asked for and we’re so excited to start living with our new kitchen!

We used Chi Renovation to do a ground up kitchen remodel in our home. The project went smoothly and Chi Renovation did a great job. Larry came out and gave us a quote and was the only person to come out and say they could do exactly what we wanted with the budget we had in mind. Other companies came out and told us it would be double what we were expecting and wouldnt work up any sort of design plan without us shelling out thousands of dollars to retain their services.. I was a little worried that Larry may have under quoted us or would try raising the cost later, but no such case....Chi Renovation did the job for exactly what was quoted, within the time frame they quoted, and it looks beautiful. Larry is extremely trustworthy and did everything he said he was going to do. When we did our final walk thru and pointed out some scratches on the new cabinets, he was quick to replace them at no charge, without an argument. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.

I hired Chi Renovation to remodel my master bathroom. It was my first ever home remodel and at first I didn't know where to start. Based on reviews and my first meeting with Jon I decided this was the right company. They worked with my budget, provided me a shopping list of items needed and a budget for how much to spend on each. Jon sent us websites, recommendations and even took us shopping. We simply made selections and he made the arrangements for everything to be purchased, delivered and brought in. The men who did the work were respectful of our home and cleaned up after themselves. We hit a few small glitches along the way (1) wrong shower floor tile installed (2) a mirror broke in transit (3) a tile was back ordered. Jon was always in constant communication and made sure everything that went wrong was fixed. In the end, the work took slightly longer then originally promised because of the back order, but it was very reasonable and the results were great. We love our new bathroom and I would recommend Chi Renovation, Jon in particular, to anyone.

I hired Chi Renovation & Design to upgrade a tiny ensuite into lush bathroom area. Jonathan, the designer/ project manager was right on with his design options and pricing. I had shopped around before hiring them so I knew their price was good. Additionally, I had read former customers reviews of their experiences and was further reassured by their reports. My project took longer than I had anticipated but it was well worth it.. Everything was done as promised( and some) within budget. In fact the professionalism, trustworthiness and cordiality of the workers was refreshing. The material and workmanship was top notch and the finish product was great. Its was pleasure to do business with a company of their caliber. I would definitely hire them for another renovation.

We recently completed a project with Chi Renovation & Design and were pleased with the work. Lior was prompt when providing an initial quote, which was detailed and clearly presented. In the aftermath of damage to our lower level from sewage backing up, we required the reconstruction of baseboards, drywall, and carpet installation. All of the trades associated with the various parts of the job were professional and skilled, and the result of the reconstruction looks great! Lior and his team even finished the job in less time than expected and cleaned up after the project's conclusion. We found the total cost for the services provided to be reasonable and would highly recommend Chi Renovation & Design.

We used Chi Renovations to replace four columns in the front of our home. We received four estimates and theirs was very reasonable. They did an excellent job of constructing new wooden columns and covering them with aluminum. Their workmen were pleasant, skilled and neat. They did the job in the time estimated. I would definately use them for future projects.
