As requested by Chickadee Solutions, the amount I received from [redacted] as a refund for this used toaster oven is in the amount of $52.44. Since I paid $62.34, I will expect to receive the difference of $$9.90 from Chickadee Solutions. I must note, however, despite their cordial response to my complaint, I think their way of doing business is suspect. I have records from [redacted] of the the two phone calls that I made to [redacted] at [redacted] (the phone #Revdex.com lists for them), on on my cell and the other on our home phone. The first one was 7/31/17 at 10:27 a.m. and lasted for two minutes and the other was on 8/2/17 at 2:04 p.m. and lasted for 1 minute. For each of these calls, I left a message. On the picture I took of my online response on their website "Contact Us" page, it shows that I dated that inquiry as being 8/2/17. And the only contact they claim to have received from me was an email (which was on 7/29/17)?? Give me a break!! AND they NEVER contacted me back!!! Only this Revdex.com complaint drew their attention. Sad, but true.  I would never choose to do business with them again, nor would I recommend them to anyone. And do you wonder why I sent the toaster oven back to [redacted]?? Because how could I trust Chickadee (Business) Solutions when they can't communicate with me and send me a used (not new, like I ordered) toaster oven as an anonymous gift (What is that about, if not hiding what they are doing?) utilizing [redacted] Warehouse Deals. Did you notice how they seem to admit to sending me this anonymous gift to fulfill my order?? This is bogus.

1.  I am NOT arguing, I am stating facts, facts that you refuse to listen to.  IT IS NOT A MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY ISSUE since the item was never installed.  THIS IS PER MY CONVERSATION WITH [redacted].2.  You have NOT done all you can to fix the problem.  YOU failed to honor your return policy, you had USED items sent to me, you were constantly rude.  You're still being rude.  3.  If you cannot honor your "no questions asked" refund policy, then you simply need to change it.  That is common sense.

We sent a prepaid return label via email on 1/19/2018.   The return was sent back and we have issued a full refund.

I show that the item was delivered on August 16th, 2016.  [redacted] Tracking # [redacted]

We have sent a partial refund offer for 50% off of the incorrectly delivered item.   We have also offered a full refund upon return of item.   Just waiting for a reply...

This order was placed on December 8th, and was cancelled due to a manufacturer backorder on December 12th.   A refund and confirmation email were sent.   We do regret not following-up on your [redacted] messages, and we sincerely apologize for that.

We are an established multi-channel online retailer, with near-perfect positive feedback ratings on [redacted], and [redacted].  In this case a customer placed an order on a Friday afternoon before a long holiday weekend.   We very quickly realized that the item ordered would not be...

in-stock for over a week and so we promptly contacted the customer via email and issued an immediate refund.   Due to the long weekend the credit was not shown on his credit card until 2 business days later - an issue which we have no control over.

We had actually emailed the customer, cancelled and refunded this order today, two hours before receiving this complaint.   We do apologize for the missing delivery.

business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved. Although the issue was not as stated by the business. I was never notified that it was backordered. They told me it had shipped and then would not respond to my calls or emails. I initiated s chargeback for fraud through my bank. That is what resolved the issue.
