I signed a work order January to have a section of shingles replaced (approximately 3' X 4') that had blown off in December I contacted the company in March because more shingles came off from the same section that was repaired January My thought was that a repair made in January should have lasted longer than three months without needing to be repaired again at an additional expenseThank you

We originally put this roof on for her parents many years ago The labor warranty is over We did a small repair for her directly after the windstorm There is no warranty on repairs She was combative with Paul from the very beginning We will not be providing any shingles or service for this homeowner

We were happy to repair the damage caused by the ice dam on [redacted] roof as a courtesy, as ice damming is not covered under ANY warranty However, since we were not given an opportunity to correct OR EVEN evaluate the issue that caused the leak, and as the only evidence that there was an issue is an exorbitant estimate from a direct competitor for $2,that resulted in a drastically sub par repair as compared to the opposite side which we previously did for the sum of $400, we feel our obligation to [redacted] has been satisfied Sincerely, Mark LaRuezOwner, Dan Fulmer Construction

Tell us why hereThe original roof tear off warranty was for yearsThis is not the issue I am complaining aboutThat information was extraneous and should not have been included in my complaintThe issue I am dealing with is a repair to the roof that was completed in January I paid $in January to replace shingles that came off the roof in late December In March more shingles came off in the area that was repaired three months earlierI have called this company to have them repair the repair they completed three months earlierWhen I call the company I am told that someone will call meAfter calling them for almost three weeks with no responseI am fed upMy roof needs to be repaired before it begins leaking

The price that was originally quoted INCLUDED the cost of the ice melt As we always state in our conversations when it comes to ice & snow removal: "The cost of the ice melt is $per bag of ice melt" that is used to remove the build up The shoveling along won't remove all the ice, ESPECIALLY with the extreme amount of ice & snow build up that took place in the winter months of 2014- We are sorry for the experience that the customer had on the telephone However, we always advise our customers of all service costs prior to doing the work for them

Our roofing supervisor was out to meet with the homeownerUpon further inspection, it was determined that she had experienced an ice dam with resulted in leaking into her home
This was clearly explained to the homeowner

While we very much regret this incident occurring with such loyal customers, we feel we have done everything reasonable expected of us in this situation.We did replace the glass once at our expense in appreciation of the good relationship we had with the homeowner, though we were under no obligation
to do so The fact that the manufacturer went out of business in was unfortunate; however, this was beyond our control & was not our responsibility.We have the utmost respect for and have done many projects for the *** ***, to their satisfaction It is unfortunate this work and goodwill was suddenly disregarded due to circumstances beyond our control which we took responsibility for

On 2/28/our roofing supervisor was out to meet with *** ***Upon examination of the areas in question, it was seen that the chimney b-vent, which was NOT installed by our company, was installed upside downThis caused all the water to run into the seam, which in turn caused the leaking into
the customer's home
*** *** was clearly advised of this NOT being anything that our company did

Received a vm from the business (Kelly).  Return the business call and spoke with the owner.  He stated that they called the consumer this morning and lvm stating that they will be out as soon as it is dry and warmer.  He states that it is only a 15 min job and it will be completed.

I had a roof leak in 2014 that took 6 months to resolve after numerous phone calls. I have the phone records from Verizon to prove this. The leak was caused by incorrectly installed flashing on the dormer. Dan Fulmer replaced that flashing and the leak stopped. I was left with a rather large stain on my cathedral ceiling which they said was not their responsibility. This year I had a leak so bad I was going to lose my ceiling. I had water dripping inside my livingroom. It was in the exact same area, but on the opposite side of my dormer. Dan Fulmer gave me a 6 month run around before and I needed immediate action. I wasn't an ice dam and they saw the stains on my ceiling 8 feet away from the gutter. This is another excuse and stonewall not to accept their responsibility.  I tried to discuss the roof issue, but they refused to do so. I have phone records and emails to verify this. If it was an ice dam issue, why did Dan Fulmer send painters out to paint over the water stains created on my ceiling? It was obvious from the location of the water stain from this past winter that it wasn't an ice dam. I also asked them for their cost of labor and materials and they refused to reply. I have emails proving this.

The complaint I filed was NOT for the roofing that was contracted by my mother in 2007. I contacted Dan Fulmer Company in January 2017 for shingles that came off from the roof in December 2016. The person who was sent out for the estimate in January 2017 was an employee by the name of Paul. (Paul, from the few estimates I have received from that company has always arrived with what can only be termed as as "arrogant attitude"). And frankly, I have never used them prior to this incident for that very reason. Paul wrote an estimate for $360 to repair an area on the roof that was approx 3' X 4'. As it was early Jan I wanted the repair completed prior to any snow. Although I thought the estimate high I signed a contract for the work to be completed by the end of the week. After having the call the company a few times the work was completed, although, no excess shingles from this repair were left at premises. I lost additional shingles in the same area that was repaired in Jan 2017 three months later. I called the company to repair what they didn't get quite right in Jan, was asked to call back the following month, which I did. I was set up with an 8am appointment time (again with Paul). At 8:25am I received a "courtesy" call from Paul saying he would be there in 40 - 45 minutes. My response was "You were supposed to be here 25 minutes ago." Three rounds of that and Paul was not happy. He showed up 20 minutes later. Again, rude and arrogant. He told me they would repair the two-three shingles that were from the same area and (seven additional shingles were lost in April) he would only charge an additional $300. I said that was ridiculous. Paul didn't like that response........accused me of yelling at him........not so..........although I did tell him in a calm tone that I did think he was an arrogant pk. Admittedly, not my finest moment and apologized later to the owner. So..........this company refuses to stand behind a repair that they completed with supposedly their "best guy" who was at work that January morning. That says a lot about their work ethic......or lack there of.
