Chris Thompson Construction/Foundation Specialists of East Texas

My foundation repair experience with Chris T Construction/Foundation Specialist of East Texas, late September 2017, is as follows: The problem areas that I specifically mentioned to the owner, Mr. T, at the time of the initial inspection were not addressed. To be fair, he did tell me that one area could not be brought to level, which I fully understood, but the house overall is more "unlevel" now than it was before the so-called repair. I was warned to expect minor cracks near interior doorways, which turned out to be a supreme understatement. They even separated the exterior brick walls on two sides of the house and didn't notice until I brought it to their attention. Framed wall décor and items on shelves vibrated onto the floor and dinged my hardwood flooring. During this time, the owner was inaccessible except when I called *** to report a gas leak caused by the violent nature of the repair. Mr. T did take responsibility for the gas leak and paid for the repair. Concurrently, Mr. T's crew installed a booster fan on the clothes dryer vent. The exterior vent cover fell off the day after it was installed. I tried to replace the vent several times myself before contacting Mr. T. On October 16, he promised (via text message) to come take a look at it and even proposed a possible fix. I reminded him again on November 20. As of today, April 3, 2018, I still have not heard from Mr. T. I am extremely disappointed and $6000.00 poorer (not counting the cost to patch all the cracks and repaint these rooms). I made a serious error in hiring this company.
