*** You are correct in that *** is our printer and our distributorYou can address any books that are ordered through CFP for personal use or resale directly with your rep here at CFP. Books that are ordered online or in retail outlets (Barnes & Noble, Amazon, etc...) have to
go through the retail outlets return procedure, just like any product, anywhere in the United StatesThese two scenarios are what your representative was describing to youCFP prints thousands of books each year through our partnership with *** and we have never seen complete product failureI do not disagree that a small percentage of books could have faults such as glue failure and binding issues but its not across the boardPlease contact your rep and we will absolutely send you books to make up for the binding issues you have had.CFP does produce eBooksAll of our titles are also produced and distributed in eBook formats to give our authors the largest distribution network possibleeBooks are not writable formats, they simply don't have that functionIf it were loaded as a separate application it could be possible but it wouldn't be an eBook or listed in distribution. You singed your contract April 30th and you had a book in your hand by OctoberThat is less than monthsWe never guarantee a completion date up front when speaking to authors because so much of the process weighs on input from the author in order to move forwardWith that said we tell authors it can take on average between and monthsThis is exactly what we produced for you regardless of the rounds of page design corrections and rounds of cover design corrections we completed for youIf you had concern about the ability to sell your book this timeline was absolutely explained to you in detail up front. We do not publish spiral bound booksAll of our content describes soft cover and hard cover case laminate printing optionsNever ever do we mention spiral bound and again if this was a make it or break it factor, you never once mentioned it up front in those initial discussionsEven after you singed the contract you could have canceled and received a refund if that was the major factor. I understand your frustration with some of the failures in product you have experienced, and hopefully we can make you happy with replacements but the other complaints are unwarranted and have no merit
