Initial Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2015/07/31) */
The complainants purchased their [redacted] membership from Forever Grand Vacations on 6/28/15.
[redacted] called them on 7/2/15 to schedule a "Welcome Aboard" call, which is an hour long informational call where [redacted]...

goes into great detail with the member on how to use & get the most benefit out of their membership. Mrs. said she had already "logged onto the website," then agreed to the appointment for 7/6 to do the "W.A." call. However, they "missed" that appointment time.
On 7/7 TTG called again and Mrs said she broke her foot and she re-scheduled a time for 7/10. Yet, on 7/9, Mrs. called Forever Grand Vacations and left a voicemail stating they wish to cancel because "prices are cheaper online"(still without knowing how to use the product).
She called again on 7/10 and spoke to one of our Quality Assurance Representatives. She explained again, what it stated in their contract, that they have a legal 3-day right of rescission and can cancel within that timeframe. At the time they called and left their voicemail, it was 11 days past their purchase date, well out of the legal rescission period.
The "Welcome Aboard" call, that the complainants never did, is important because the [redacted] website only shows about 25% of what is available to members. [redacted] never had an opportunity to explain how to use these benefits because the complainants never gave them the opportunity. How can they claim that "prices are cheaper online" when they never talked to TTG to compare prices? They never attempted to use the product and never attempted to book anything.
Also, they claim the sales rep had a disconnected cell number. This is not true. In fact, has used his cell phone to communicate with Mrs. It is not, nor has it ever been disconnected. He has also had many text messages between himself and Mrs. and has listed their membership with the same brokerage she said, "would never do business with us again". In addition, the Director of Operations & Quality Assurance Supervisor spoke with Mrs. on 7/20, as did the Project Director on 7/22. On that call, they agreed to talk again on 7/25. Before that call could take place, someone walked into the Sales Center and dropped off the complainants membership kit and bolted. The PD left a message for them on 7/25 stating that dropping off the kit does not cancel their membership. On 7/27 Mrs. returned the call. In the name of customer service, the PD offered to downgrade their membership and refund them [redacted] She said she would speak to her husband. The PD called again and the husband had said "no". Another [redacted] was offered on 7/28, but again the response was "No".
Both, Forever Grand Vacations and [redacted] have done everything they said they would do and yet the complainants have never tried to use their membership. It seems that this situation is a simple case of "buyer's remorse". Forever Grand Vacations stands by the [redacted] product, which has over 60,000 members and has been in business for 25 years. We have tried numerous times to help them, but they are not going to be happy with anything but a full refund. We see no justification for a refund and since they have refused our attempts to resolve this with them, we consider this matter closed.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 12, 2015/08/04) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
As I stated in my original complaint forever grand vacation has not done one thing they stated they would do when we purchased the package we were promised that if we ever wanted to sell the package they would do so at anytime Mr [redacted] stated that several times when I called to tell them we wanted to sell it I was informed they do not sell the package you have to go through someone else & it's an additional [redacted] to list it to sell they can not tell you how long it would take to sell when I spoke to the people that sell the package I was told it could take a couple of years & I would be lucky to get a [redacted] for a package I paid [redacted] & have had less than a month.. They state my package has been put up for sale by Mr [redacted] this is the first I have heard of this.. As far as the package we were promised 60-70% off vacation packages that is very far from the truth you can get packages cheaper online by yourself .. As far as when they called to go over the details the first time I was at work & could not spend an hour going over something you can look online yourself & it is true the next time I was at the Dr office with a broken foot . We still feel this is a scam Mr [redacted] had told us to call him anytime if we had a problem I did call him as soon as we returned from Branson to discuss our concerns I left several messages not once did he return our calls .. I did talk to [redacted] once she had the resale people call me then she also would not return my calls.. This is not buyers remorse if this company gave you what you were promised there would be no reason people would not file these complaints & request their money back.. I was also told they had only 7 complaints in the last 3 years I saw over 55 complaints filed all with pretty much the same complaints as our's.. I'm not sure how they think it is fair to sell people a package for [redacted] promising complete resale knowing the whole time that is false information we are still seeking a full refund

[redacted] prides itself in providing a solid product that saves people money in their travel needs. The discounts that Mrs. speaks about are all factual and can be verified. Mrs. speaks of a [redacted] listing fee to sell and that's just not the case. The company in question charges [redacted] and that fee was waived for them. We have spoken with the listing company, regarding the negative implications Mrs. claims, and they say there were no such conversations. The reference Mrs. makes regarding a Revdex.com rating for [redacted], and says its untrue. Fact is [redacted] is the fulfillment company they own with, and is rated AAA+, and is accredited, with 7 resolved complaints in the last 3 years. We have reached out to Mrs. and offered an olive branch to no avail. We stand by the product we sell and this is clearly buyers remorse with no actual issues that we can see. Again, there is no justification for a refund in light of the facts involved. We consider this issue closed.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 17, 2015/08/17) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
As far as the [redacted] listing fee you failed to mention that is only for one year and I was told it would take a lot longer than that to sell they told me it would be [redacted] for a continuous listing and again I was told by the company that we would be lucky to get [redacted] on our [redacted] purchase that we have only had for about 6 weeks. I still feel we were not told the truth about this package in the introduction meeting we were very clearly told by Mr. [redacted] that we could travel to Alaska for [redacted] I have checked their website their are no vacations that even come remotely close to that amount. As far as the statement that our package has been listed for resale this is the first time I have heard of this I was sent a package to list it for resale but I do not want to have to pay on this package while they are trying to resell it. This package is completely the opposite of how they make it sound in their presentations. As far as the 55 complaints they are on this webpage for them to look at. We are still seeking a full refund for false advertising.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Members are stating they were deceived into purchasing our travel club and state they were promised to get all their money back from the time share and that there was no guarantee that the timeshare would be liquidated.
Members came to us on...

May 25th, 2016 with an interest in liquidating their timeshare but still wanted to travel and were looking for an alternative method to do so.
After reviewing our product and our ability to assist in liquidating the timeshare members entered into an agreement to become licensed members of RSI Vacations and we referred them to TRC for the liquidation of their timeshare.
Issue number 1:
No guarantee that timeshare would be liquidated.
I have included a copy of the written guarantee for your review.
Issue number 2:
Were promised they would get back all the money they spent on the timeshare.
We have never made such a promise nor is it reasonable to consider this could be possible. We have a process established where a verification office goes over all closing documents in detail after the new members have finished with the sales person. This eliminates confusion and misunderstandings
I have included documents that are gone over, in detail, at the closing and all copies are given to member to take with them at that time.
If you will refer to page 5 of the attached documents, 2nd paragraph, you will see where it states that "every medium possible in order to receive a cancellation of your contract and/or refund"
The documents we review with the members goes over every step of the process that the liquidation entails so there should be no confusion at all.
Forever Grand Vacations is the oldest travel club in Branson and maintains an A+ rating with the Revdex.com by doing the right thing in the course of our business.
I also mention that it has been 2 months since members contracted with us and as of this date we have not had a single call, notice of intent to cancel or any other communication except this complaint with the Revdex.com.
We feel this is purely a case of remorse and lacks any merit to consider a refund.
I have documents to attach but no option to attach on this screen
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2016/08/02) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
A letter detailing our grievances with Forever Grand Vacations was mailed to them at their address by FedX on June 6, 2016. This letter was notarized and dated on that same day. I have records of this notarized letter and mailing fees.
Mr Billy Moore knew from the moment we sat down that we had no interest in their travel plan or in buying any such plan from them. He outright lied to us regarding what we were to do with the existing timeshare, telling us in no uncertain terms that we should stop our maintenance fees immediately.
This response from FGV is wholly false as to our timely response. We had the death of our brother on Saturday, May 28, 2016, and soon after I filed a complaint against the charge on my credit card. We waited to see if the charge card would be reimbursed, but it was not, and FGV never responded to my latter. We seek the refund from FGV and will continue to take all recourse available to us to let others know of their uncircumspect business dealings through the MO Secretary of State office if need be,
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 12, 2016/08/03) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Forever Grand Vacations promised my sister and me that by signing their contract/lease, we would get ALL our money back from our previously purchased timeshare! This promise was totally false as we learned by reading the contract from the Timeshare Relief, Inc. that we received well after the three day period during which we could cancel our agreement with FGV. They lied to us! We wanted only one thing: to get out of our timeshare. Billy Moore used his "Christian" affiliation to make us think he was a truthful person. He is a con man and liar, and he will pay for this action at some point! But listen now, anytime a business connives this way, it will destroy the confidence in the whole Branson area. We will never utilize the Forever Grand Vacation lease because it is full of "red herrings" (lies)! We are Seniot citizens, ages 79 and 75, and we will never give a good report about timeshares or related companies again. We will not be satisfied with this until they refund our money for this travesty of a business in Branson! I will send a copy of the notarized letter of June 6, 2016 to Revdex.com that we sent to FGV by FedX. That will verify my timely complaint and communication with them. I will connect State authorities next if they do not satisfy this complaint!
Final Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2016/08/03) */
The statement that members had no intentions of buying anything, and had no interest in our Travel Club is confusing to me.
Usually when one signs all the agreements at closing and fills out all the applications to liquidate their timeshare, then produces a credit card to pay for it! Seems like an intent to purchase, and a strong motivation to liquidate their timeshare.
As far as the communications with us. Maybe the member is referring to a correspondence she had with the credit card company, but there has been no contact with Forever Grand Vacations.
The rescission period on this transaction is clearly defined by Missouri Law and this is way outside of that timeframe.

We have come to an agreement with Ms. [redacted]. We have agreed to cancel her membership and refund her the $600.00 she put down as a deposit. We consider this complaint closed as Ms. [redacted] is satisfied.
