In my very first call to the "warranty expert" the section highlighted in red in their response seeing how this lady is a "warrant expert" was NEVER mentionedHer exact sequence of words was I pay $to have a technician come to my home and look at the couchIf the couch has an issue with the frame the technician would fix the problem and my money would be refundedIf it is anything else she said I would not get my $backThe technician looked at the couch, deem it was a manufacturers defect in the frame, had my wife sign a paper he was there and left without fixing the couchEverything that has been told to me by Overstock is filled with so much contradictionI know what this "warranty expert" told me and she was not plain honestI have yet to receive my money back and her and other customer service people tell me I will not receive itI SHOULD NOT have to get in touch with the technician for a job the "warranty expert" said would be fixed when he originally looked at the couch and found it to be the frameI told the "warranty expert" I wanted to speak to her supervisor on the last phone call and I was told " there is no one above her, my money would be refunded and my couch WOULD NOT be fixed and hung up on meI waited five days and called and asked a customer service employee why I haven't been refunded and she said "sir you're not going to be refunded and I suggest you call the technician"The discrepancies with Overstock is totally ridiculous

As I have a strong knowledge of wood repair, I would have repaired the damage myself if it was possibleHowever, I went to Cincinnati Overstock on Saturday to speak with *** as instructedThis desk weighs pounds and I did not want to load and unload it until I knew if *** felt he could fix itI took several pictures with me on SaturdayWhen I got there, I was told that *** only worked Wed, Thurs, and FriI was so relieved I did not waste the time and risk injury taking the desk inFrom my perspective, this is just another example of this company not serving its customers well. They did not respond to us until we involved the Revdex.com and while we appreciate your assistance, we are done trying to reach a compromise with this companyWe will take this as a lesson learned and will no longer shop there and we will encourage others we know to be leery of them as wellAs a FYI...they did give me a dollar gift card for the store, but we will NOT be using itThank you again for your help

Purchased a kitchen table and chair setVery happy with itHad a small scratch in the woodThey came out right away and fixed itYou could not tell it ever had a scratch We then went back and bought a couchLove it Price was greatWould highly recommend them to all

We are sorry for the difficulty From time to time we, like every retail company, receive products with missing parts We sent multiple people to her home to try to help resolve the issue but were unable to get the correct part from the manufacturer quick enough We offered to
exchange the piece entirely but the customer instead asked for a refund which we have agreed to We are picking the piece up Sunday 3/9/and will issue a refund at that time We are sorry for the inconvenience and frustration

This is a and absolute inaccurate statement First of all, we don't have any semi trucks If we did, we wouldn't use them to drop parts to a customers home These parts haven't even arrived yet so we wouldn't have gone to the customers homeAlso, I and the Manager for *** *** have spoke with this customer explaining all of this Lastly, we only have small truck in Cincy area with our name on it at all The others are unmarked I will not address this truck issue any further We wish the customer the best of luck

This customer has been refunded in full and we have picked up the item We apologize for the damage and the delay

We pay a transaction fee every time we refund or process a credit card It is not free or a service provided by us or to us We will not be reprocessing the card unless the customer is willing to pay the transaction fee Also, the customers purchase is in and has been held for her
She can pick it up at anytime As our ticket states, that is signed by the customer, all sales are final We would be willing to allow the customer to pay a restocking fee if she no longer wants the items we have ordered in for her This option is also clear on our paperwork

I ordered my items on Dec 7th with an ETA of 1-weeksTwo of the three of my items arrived in weeks, however it is Jan and have still not received my third item!! It was imperative I received my furniture on time as I opened a practice at the beginning of the yearI have a whole clinic to furnish and will not be using Overstock as a resourceVery disappointed

I dispute the comment "No customer has ever been told they can return their items as long as they haven't taken possession of the items." That is a completely statement. The gentleman making that comment was not present during the sale of the furniture. The sale person that sold us the items absolutely made that comment however without solid proof to justify that it means nothing. I will not agree that this situation has been resolved because I know what I was told by a representative of Cincinnati Overstock and Cincinnati Overstock did not honor the verbal agreement of their representative.

This customer originally purchased from us on 1/24/ At the time of purchase she informed the sales person that she did not want to pick these items up until 3/ On 2/all of the items came in and an email was sent to the customer to inform them that they were able to pickup
They called back on 3/6/and scheduled a pickup for the items on their way out of town on 3/13/ When they arrived at the warehouse, the warehouse manager called customer service to inform us that the headboard for their bed was not in the warehouseWe went back to the BoL (bill of lading) and it appeared that all the items had arrived, but we were unable to locate the headboard We informed the customer of the incident and apologized for this mixup We also ensured them that we would figure a way to get this to them at their new home in *** when it came in Typically *** has an estimated time of arrival of 2-weeks We ordered the headboard on 3/14/as all orders go in on Mondays because our ordering staff does not work the weekends On 3/the customer called to check the status and we had only ordered it and there was no ship date from the manufacturer as of yetOur GM, Ben, had been exploring all possible options as to how we could get this to the customer Originally we thought that *** would be able to drop ship this to their home, but we were informed it was too large a piece and would have to be sent to the warehouse This item came in on 3/25/and we were awaiting the best action to take in order to get this item to the customer as soon as possible The customer called in on 3/25/and wanted to know if it had arrived and when we informed her it had, she asked when they would be getting it to them At the time, we did not have the solution as to how this was going to be delivered to them in ***, TN from Cincinnati, OH Our GM was still working on the best way to get this to them as soon as we possibly couldOne of our sales representatives volunteered to take this item to them on Monday 3/28/ Customer service contacted the customer to inform them of this and the customer was ok with us bringing that down to them on the specified date We let the customer know that we would call her when the sales rep was on the way and that we would ensure it arrived to her on Monday 3/
We have resolved this issue to the absolute best of our ability given the extenuating circumstances surrounding this discrepancy and delay

The merchant has not only been informed on the date of purchase, but also in the following date time:a. Feb 18th, around 10:12AM, delivery person, MrCasey J***, had been informed that the table and stools cannot be accepted without the rug.b. Feb 18th, evening, I visited their sales representative, MrDavid H***, at their Florence, KY, retail location, to reiterate the rug must arrive first.In order to cover up their lack of ability to deliver the products properly, the seller on the Feb 25th, dropped the table to my property without my consent in an attempt to legitimatize this pretend delivery. Therefore, the $delivery charge should be the sole responsibility of the seller.Issue Bogus Charges:No where in the purchase orders and all the related documentations, *** /*** /Credit Agreement from *** Bank, ever mention any restocking fee, needless to say "25%" or "non-refundable". This term simply does not exist, and it is completely fabricated by the seller to take advantage on the buyer. Therefore, the buyer should bear NO Responsibility to the $ restocking charges.Issue Breach of Contract:
I believe in the seller has adequately indicated that they have breached the contract on multiple counts, from the price of the sofa to a simple rug. The buyer has agreed to purchase with completely good faith and sufficient financial resources. However, the seller has failed to deliver the sofa, then failed to deliver the rug, and as a result, failed to correctly deliver the table and stools.Base on the reasons stated above, the seller must refund all charges to the buyer

Walked into the store and was greeted three times before I could even browseI was really impressed from the get goThis is the store in northern Kentucky I'm referencingThe employees were greatI was shopping from out of town and they were able to get my purchase to me in my local areaSuch a great group of people and a wonderful shopping experience!

It really s worth it to be treated like thisYour delivery service seems t being able to dictate how and when they want to do their part that I was charged $for and I'm only to miles tops from you Springdale storeLet make this easy...Just send me a check for the $and I'll donate this piece of garbage to the Good will store and I'll buy from a store who values customer and know how to provide a great buying experience as wellI spent 1/years in retail for Mercantile Stores and anybody giving this poor attention to a customer would have been fired summarily! *** ***###-###-####
