Review: I was told when I signed up for the free trial for GoToMeeting that I would be notified prior to any billing charges. I was not notified in any way before my trial period ended and my card was billed. I contacted Citrix Online and they refunded the charge and told me they cancelled my account. Which is why I was surprised when my card was again charged the monthly fee just today. Not only did they assure me my account was canceled, I was never supposed to be billed in the first place without notification. This seems like a scam, I do not appreciate being lied to and being charged twice without promised prior notification.This is part of the note I received from a customer support representative: _______"Per your e-mail request, your contract has now been immediately expired and refunded. An e-mail receipt has been sent to you for your records. If you wish to use the service again in the future, simply visit our program website and log into your online account with this account e-mail address and password to activate a new plan.If you have any additional questions or need further clarification regarding this matter, please feel free to reply directly to this email. For any other product inquiries or technical assistance, please visit us at our Support Center at http://support.citrixonline.com. Our Support Centers include Self Help files and our Global Customer Support Contact Information.Thank you"______Since my account was expired, you can understand why I was shocked to have been charged yet again. I have no desire to ever have an account with this business again and will make sure to not recommend them to any of my colleagues or contacts.Desired Settlement: I am requesting my credit card information to be fully removed from their system, along with a full refund for this unauthorized charge.

Review: I signed up for a free trial of Go To My PC after listening to their ads on talk radio stations (Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingram, etc.). After signing up for the free trial, I realized that their service of being able to access my home computer in Houston while on vacation in Michigan would not work due to the size of the RAW photo files I need to access (each photo is 25MB in size). As a professional photographer for the NFL, being able to work on files remotely would be extremely helpful; however, after beginning the backup I realized it would take days upon days to back up just a few of the hundreds and hundreds that I needed. I cancelled my free trial but had already given them my Amex card. That was the last of it, I thought. I do not pay my own bills but after reviewing last year's annual statement, I realized they had been charging me $9.95 for almost a year. Upon calling them today, I was told they will only return half of the money they've taken from me without my knowledge. I'm waiting on a manager to call me but am furious at this deceptive practice and demand a full refund. We must stop these predators from abusing our credit cards as soon as they are able to obtain our information.Desired Settlement: I would like my entire amount refunded and for them to stop pretending like I authorized them to charge my account after I clearly cancelled my free trial!

Review: One year ago, my group (The Collective: Customer #7[redacted]9) received a free one-year membership to Podio, a communications site. Before the free one year lapsed, I was told that I must either delete the account or pay for the service. Since late August, I have attempted to delete the service, as we no longer use Podio, and have followed all instructions, to no avail. I have been in constant contact with a company representative, Sara May, who has said she cannot help until I delete the account myself. I have described the problems I am having in detail, but she said she cannot do anything more. I have sent messages to the Podio support desk, but my complaints have fallen on deaf ears. Meanwhile, the bills are accumulating.Desired Settlement: I would simply like for the company to delete my account, as I am unable to do this myself, and to waive the current bill of $34.83 (Invoice Number: INV-169589). I have done everything in my power to take care of this, but am unable to do so, and the company will not help. It's time for this to be resolved.

account has been cancelled from our side and no more invoices will be sent.

Review: Citrix Systems acquired a company called "GoToMeeting" in the past year or two. I briefly tried the service via a free trial in 2008, but it did not work to my satisfaction. My employer at the time was EDS. This company was acquired by HP and most US jobs were outsourced to India. I am now unemployed and have no need for this service. Please get Citrix to stop sending me ads for "GoToMeeting".Desired Settlement: See Complaint Text
