Revdex.com: I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The response operates under the assumption that City Wide's plumbers diagnosis of my problem of "improper installation" was correctThe information I provided them about my dad replacing the seal on the toilet was just to try to help them understand that the issue was not related to the seals on the toilet, but a different issue altogetherIf I would have dreamed that they would try to use that as any sort of argument against actually doing any work on my toilet instead of writing it off as "improper installation" (which was a much quicker way out of my door), I would've let their plumber come up with his own diagnosis instead of giving them an excuseTo help support my argument, I had a completely separate, third party company come in and provide their analysis, which was that the entire flush valve in my toilet is old and needs to be replacedIt had nothing at all to do with "improper installation" as stated by City WideTheir plumber also confirmed to me that the seal installed by my dad was installed correctly, as it only fits in one way, in a simple grooveI'm 100% confident any competent plumber I asked would agreeI attached that for your referenceAll I wanted City Wide to do was to come back and provide a proper diagnosis to my home warranty company, so that they would cover my claimThey are absolutely correct that once denied, they can't do any other workHowever, THE REASON it was denied was because their plumber provided an incorrect assessment to the home warranty company It represents lazy work by a company who obviously does not concern themselves with customer satisfaction, and only wants to get paid and leave as quickly as possibleAs they obviously will not offer me any further assistance in resolving my issue, I require no further assistance from City Wide, and will advise my home warranty company of the sameRegards, [redacted]

They apparently have no interest in warranting the work they do, or the equipment they install. I did eventually return to my [redacted] company, and the problem was dealt with. Terrible company! They missed one appointment, then called the next day to say they went out of business because their accounting books were mess, but now they are back up and running I gave them a second chance, and one of the owners came out on a Saturday to look at a drip in my tub faucet He made a huge mess in the bathroom and bedroom on the other side of the wall to get to the valve access He left to look for a replacement part, came back hours later and told me he couldn't find it He said he would keep looking, but would need to replace a larger part if no one made it anymore After a few days he called to tell me the part was no longer made and he would have to do a $500+ job to fix the drip I took the assembly apart myself, went to one plumbing store and got a replacement for $and fixed it myself This guy is still calling me trying to get money out of me The company is a scam and the owner knows less about plumbing than I do
This company is the most unorganized and unprofessional company I have ever dealt with The owner is rude and not customer service oriented at allWhen you call the assistants put you on hold because they have no idea what they are doing and cannot even tell you whether or not you are on the schedule I had to call times in order to find out why technician did not show up only to have the owner get on the phone and interrupt me so that I could not talk The owner told me I was rude to her employee and then proceeded to yell and scream at me with out giving me an opportunity to explain my situation and then told me they did not want my business I will never use this company or refer them to anyone I know

WORK ABOVE THAT MR. [redacted] DID. YES, WE DID GIVE MRS. [redacted] A BREAK ON

THE HOURS OF 8AM-12 NOON. WE WERE ASSIGNED TO THIS CUSTOMER THROUGH HIS 2/10 HOME BUYERS WARRANTY. THE WORK ORDER CONSISTED OF TWO DIFFERENT ISSUES:1.) LEAK UNDER SINK LOCATED IN M/B, AND 2.)A TOILET TANK LEAK LOCATED IN THE H/O'S UPSTAIRS GUEST BATHROOM. THE FIRST PROBLEM WAS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY, AND WE WERE ABLE TO FIX WITHOUT A PROBLEM. NOW, FOR THE SECOND ISSUE (BEING THE "TOILET LEAK"), WE WERE NOT ABLE TO FIX, DUE TO IT NOT BEING COVERED UNDER H/O'S WARRANTY IN WHICH THE CLAIM GOT "DENIED/' DUE TO IMPROPER INSTALLATION. WHEN TIDS TYPE OF SITUATION HAPPENS "(CLAIMS GETTING DENIED)", WE ARE IN NOWAY ALLOWED TO GO FORWARD AND FIX ANYTHING, UNLESS IT IS OUTSIDE THE WARRANTY, AND PUT ON A CITYWIDE TICKET, IN WICH WE EXPLAINED TO MR.[redacted], AND THAT IS WHERE WE QUOTED HIM $175.00 & THAT IS INCLUDING PARTS & LABOR. I DID TRY TO HELP MR.[redacted] IN EVERY W WAY I COULD, AFTER IT WAS ESTABLISHED THAT THE CLAIM WAS DENIED, MR.[redacted] DID CALL THE OFFICE, AND HE STATED HE KNEW WHAT NEEDED TO BE FIXED, AND THAT HIS DAD WAS A PLUMBER AND HAD DONE SOME WORK ON TOILET IN THE PAST' BUT[redacted] DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO COMPLETELY FIX WHAT WAS NEEDED; WITH THAT SAID, WHEN ANYONE PREVIOUSLY TOUCHES SOMETHING THAT WE ARE BROUGHT OUT AS A COMPANY TO LOOK AT AND POSSIBLY FIX, IF IT IS CONSIDERED "IMPROPERLY INSTALLED", AND THE CUSTOMER HAS STA TED SOMEONE HAS PREVIOUSLY DONE SOMETHING WITH THE ITEM, THAT MAKES IT EVEN MORE LIABLE FOR THE CLAIM TO GET DENIED UNDER THE WARRANTY COMP ANY. AT THIS TIME WE CANNOT REFUND MR. [redacted]'S DEDUCTIBLE OF $100.00 AS HE WISHED, FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS. 1.) THE "DEDUCTIBLE" IS WHAT BRINGS/PAYS A CONTRACTOR SUCH AS OURSELVES (CITY WIDE PLUMBING) TO COME OUT & DIAGNOSE/ SERVICE/(WEATHER WE CAN FIX EVERYTHING OR NOT), & EVEN IF HE HAD REFUSED TO PAY US THE $100.00, HIS WARRANTY WOULD'VE PAID US, AND BILLED MR.[redacted] FOR JT, AND IF HE REFUSED TO PAY THEM THEY WOULD TAKE THE NEXT STEP BY VOIDING OUT HIS CONTRACT. 2.) The response operates under the assumption that City Wide's plumbers diagnosis of my problem of "improper installation" was correct. The information I provided them about my dad replacing the seal on the toilet was just to try to help them understand that the issue was not related to the seals on the toilet, but a different issue altogether. If I would have dreamed that they would try to use that as any sort of argument against actually doing any work on my toilet instead of writing it off as "improper installation" (which was a much quicker way out of my door), I would've let their plumber come up with his own diagnosis instead of giving them an excuse.
To help support my argument, I had a completely separate, third party company come in and provide their analysis, which was that the entire flush valve in my toilet is old and needs to be replaced. It had nothing at all to do with "improper installation" as stated by City Wide. Their plumber also confirmed to me that the seal installed by my dad was installed correctly, as it only fits in one way, in a simple groove. I'm 100% confident any competent plumber I asked would agree. I attached that for your reference.
All I wanted City Wide to do was to come back and provide a proper diagnosis to my home warranty company, so that they would cover my claim. They are absolutely correct that once denied, they can't do any other work. However, THE REASON it was denied was because their plumber provided an incorrect assessment to the home warranty company.
It represents lazy work by a company who obviously does not concern themselves with customer satisfaction, and only wants to get paid and leave as quickly as possible.
As they obviously will not offer me any further assistance in resolving my issue, I require no further assistance from City Wide, and will advise my home warranty company of the same.

Prior to submitting a Revdex.com complaint, my husband and I both spoke with an employee of City Wide over the phone to complain that work was not complete (new gaps between handles and wall resulting from moving pipes for spout replacement, larger than original gaps and rendering the shower unusable). I inspected the fixtures and called immediately after Mr [redacted] left my home; was asked to email the company with what was wrong, which I did, with pictures, same day of the appt March 18. I still have that documentation. We were told we would be contacted for a service call reschedule to fix but never heard back despite add'l calls. We gave up and hired another plumber to fix City Wide's work.
Mr. [redacted] did not offer to clean the mess in the bathroom.

I spoke with *** from the business and she stated that they did install a water heater at the consumers home. They did receive a call stating that the water heater was having problems. In order for the company to go back out to the consumer's home, the consumer would need to get in contact with...
their warranty provider to give the business permission to return to the consumer's home.

The business installed the water heater. They apparently have no interest in warranting the work they do, or the equipment they install. I did eventually return to my [redacted] company, and the problem was dealt with.
I am not seeking any redress from them, just trying to make my dissatisfaction with their pathetic customer service known to the general public in every way I can.

Review: Citywide came to my house under a home warranty concern. They told me to replace my hot water heater we would have to replumb it,which would cost $238.we paid the $238 our hot water heater was replaced (covered and billed to our home warranty) it was not replumbed and all my original parts were used. I saw it was not replumbed and immediately requested my over payment back (requested within 24 hours of service). The owner of the company came in the first week of January,admitted that it had not been replumbed and I was due a refund. I have been trying to get a refund since January. Every month I have been promised and have recieved nothing. My attempts to get my refund are now being met with silence. The owner Harry agreed to give me my money back, and that the service I was owed was not done. I just want my money back,they are no longer welcome in my home.Desired Settlement: I want the money I paid to replumb the hot water heater back. It was not performed.
