We issued a wire refund for the exact amount of money the customer placed on depositFor various procedural reasons, we cannot issue refunds by wire without the proper information which we did once it was provided to our accounting officeI apologize for any inconvenience the customer may have experiencedAlso, we never had a deposit under this customer's name; the wire was received and receipted under a different name

To Whom this May Concern, We have been in contact with [redacted] ***, and he came into the dealership and we inspected his vehicleWe determined that the the damage/ an or scratches came from extra adhesive from the original factory packagingWe have an appointment set up for the customer to come in and have the vehicle professionally buffed and or repaired if needed and we told him that we will provide him with a rental vehicle so that he will not be without a vehicle Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions or concerns Rick DR [redacted] General Manager City World Toyota ###-###-####

The refund was indeed issued, although a fee was deducted from the totalHowever, it took this company almost two months to do thisDuring this time I was in constant communication with them and provided all the information that they requestedIt is unfortunate that the company claims not to have any records of me and did not apologize.

We contacted the customer on the same day that we received the written notice of her complaintShe responded that she would come into our showroom to discuss the matter.As of this writing, the customer has not come in and we were only able to leave a message for her upon calling.We will be happy to
address *** ***s concerns if she comes in to see one of our managers

received my money a week later- 2/**/16. After several called however, I don't want this to happen to any one else. It's not fair.

We have refunded the customer $5000.00 to their credit card as of Friday, May *, 2017.

We have issued the customer her refund today and informed her of same.

I'm really disappointed with my experience at City World Toyota in the Bronx, NY. I chose this location to get work done, because it's close to home, and I thought, what better place to service and work on my RAV4 than Toyota itself. I feel that the staff is neglectful and dismissive. As a young woman, I feel that I only barely got the response and attentiveness that I DESERVE, after asking my father to come with me to speak with the representatives. After dropping my car off initially for service and auto body work, Carlos told me that the shop would call me as things progressed, and when Eric arrived so that I could go over the auto body work with him. On the day of the initial inspection, I had to call to follow up, because no one reached out to me in a reasonable time frame, given that the shop closes early on Saturdays. I don't know everything about vehicles, and I feel that every time I tried to ask details about the work or the process,both parties were dismissive and tried to rush through any explanation. After,I was informed that the service work would be completed by a certain day,and that I'd be called. No one called me, and when I called, no one answered, so one of the ladies took a message for me. 4 hrs passed and no one returned my call, so I called back. Neither Carlos nor Eric responded to my call or a page over the loud speaker, so the lady helping me went out to the floor to get an update on the car for me. She told me that it'd be ready by Friday and to call after 4:30. I did, and finally got in touch with Eric who said the car was ready, minus the main part of the auto body work I asked for---my car was purchased brand new from New Rochelle Toyota, and Eric claimed that the auto body shop informed him that the bumper work I needed done, couldn't happen because my car doesn't have its original bumper. Not possible, unless Toyota sold me a defective car, no bumper work has EVER been done until now. -- After going over this with Eric, I asked to speak to Carlos to find out if all of the service work had been completed, and to go over my total. Eric said he would transfer me and placed me on hold. I sat on hold for 8 mins with no sign of Carlos, so I hung up and called back, only for Carlos to say, "miss Brown, I thought you spoke to Eric and he let you know that the car is ready," which means he KNEW I was on hold. So I said yes, regarding the auto body work, but I wanted to confirm with you that all of the service work was done and to go over the numbers. That conversation ended, and I was told that I should be able to pick the car up by 10 the next morning, now the following Saturday. Upon arrival, I noticed that the auto body work wasn't completed as was discussed with Eric, or to my expectations. My vehicle is still with City World as Eric has agreed to have all mistakes corrected. Had I known that this Toyota shop sent cars out to external locations for work, I wouldn't have brought it to them. $2600+ worth of work, terrible customer service, even at the cashier window, and extreme regret, frustration and disappointment working with this shop. After all of that money, and the money spent on my vehicle itself, I don't deserve that.
My car has now been with this shop for a week longer than it should have. Eric called my father on Tuesday to tell him that the car was perfect and would be ready today. Today, Thursday 9/**, Eric calls me to tell me that a piece of plastic on the bumper is broken, that the shop didn't have/order the part, and that to fix it, I'll need to replace the entire bumper. I've already pais for this work, and it hasn't been completed to the extent that it was promised to me.
Once I pick my car up, this will be the last time I visit this shop after this experience. I'm beyond frustrated and I'm really disappointed in Toyota as a whole, my grandfather and father are long time customers and I'd never anticipated having such a terrible experience. City World Toyota staff all need a customer service training. This location is bad for business. I'm sure I'm not the only customer that has felt that way, even if many don't take the time to speak up. I've expressed my frustrations to Carlos, Eric,Toyota and now the Revdex.com. This location, this company must do better.
