I bought a Roush exhaust for my Focus ST a couple months ago and some Cobb exhaust hangers. After cutting off my old exhaust system I noticed there was not ONE exhaust clamp in my box. I was in a coastal town and had to go buy 5 of them from Napa auto parts, which I was lucky they even had any in stock or getting home 100 miles away would have been horrible. I emailed a month ago and still haven't gotten a refund for the exhaust clamps I had to buy which should have been included. Now I'm waiting on hold and no one is calling back or answering their company phone. I have never seen anything close to this service in my life. I just want my refund and I will move on.

For a $40,000 restore and ordering parts all over the internet, CJPony ranks dead last in customer service. Dash and door panels are outsourced to TMI so just go there. I had no tracking info and was left waiting for MONTHS for these parts. I had no follow up emails beyond an initial stall message of, “I’ll reach out to them and let you know.” Calling customer service gave me a “save your place” option and they would call back... in over 1,000 minutes. I sent a message for them to just cancel the order because I was going to buy it elsewhere. I expected that they wouldn’t read that message since none of my other messages were ever answered. Weeks go by and sure enough they send the order out after I ordered the same exact thing from another source, had it installed, and had finished the restore. Now I have to return these things and pray for a refund of over $1,000. Based on other reviews I’ve read here, I can expect the same lack luster performance trying to return these, and I fully expect a non-committal “sorry for your inconvenience... we are working to improve customer service... “ response here. Fine, your customer service sucks, your phone system sucks, your email responses suck. THAT’S NOT MY ISSUE. YOU TAKE YOUR STUFF BACK AND REFUND ME.

I order distributor for for 390/428 engine. installed dist. and set timing. before I could put tools away, engine died. spent many hours trying to find problem. finally found condenser failed. removed condenser from old dist. and engine started normally. chat, phone,email is useless. I would not recommend this business for any of my parts needs.

Order some taillights, I used affirm so cj pony pets took the money right away. Two days later they sent me an email say they were out of stock. A month later it said it the item was delivered AND IT WAS NOT!! Costumer service is horrible, and rude. It’s been two months and still nothing.... affirm still subtracting my money every month.

This order was shipped on 7/21 and delivered to the address on file. It looks like it must have been stolen from your property or FedEx mis-delivered. We have since sent a replacement for the parts as a customer service gesture in an effort to make this right.

Ordered a part from CJ Pony Parts $174.00 and then canceled because it was going to take forever to receive. They sent it anyway. Requested a refund and received a RTA # and sent it back USPS. The distributor received it back on 07/28/2020. After numerous phone calls to Pony Parts to no avail, you get put on hold and left there or they say they will return your call only to get hung up on when you answer, I filed a complaint with Paypal who I "always" pay through. So far I have 3 rounds going with the dispute against them from Paypal. Found out this morning after I called Pony Parts distributor, (who is Summit Racing) that they processed the credit back to Pony Parts on 08/03/20, I filed a dispute with Paypal on 07/29/20 and they are still refusing to refund my money. You can bet I'll fight them tooth and nail for my refund. Be aware of ordering anything from CJ Pony Parts, I'll never do it again. Order through Summit Racing or Trick Flow for your parts. Stay away from CJ Pony Parts!! I wouldn't give them a 1 star but it is required!

In regards to your refund, I did go ahead and process that. It was delayed because it was returned to sender (as you pointed out, it was shipped from Summit) rather than sending back to the address provided to you in the RMA email. If our procedure is not followed, it can cause delays.

I’ve sent 6 emails through the website over a 3 week period without any response.
Tried the live chat on the website which was useless did not put me in a queue and did not have an option for my issue.
Also I don’t have time to sit on the phone on hold for over an hour, which the wait time seems to be every time I call
I received my order 7/25/2020 which consisted of an oil pan swap kit and an oil pan gasket, the gasket arrived broken no big deal it happens, but no response after 3 weeks I find ridiculous.
I know plenty of guys with fords that I will definitely be telling about my poor experience with this company.

Im super upset with this company! I called over a month ago regarding a purchase....I paid $20 something dollars for over night shipping...got my part 3 days later...a part that I didn't order!!!! So I call l, I speak to a very nice man who apologizes, states he is sending me a return envelope, and I'll have a complete refund as soon as the part is back! GREAT!!!! Except the return envelope never showed up, and I have been calling with no pick up or return call for well over a month now and I'm out over $60!!!! Worst company ever...rip of! Not to mention the part their website said they had that I ordered (for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler) they don't carry!

What a disappointment! I ordered multiple parts. Received them in a timely manner, but the dash pad was defective. I asked to send it back - which I did. I didn't want another dash pad from you because you wouldn't send it to me right away - said you had to wait to receive and process the return and that could take a few weeks. I needed it sooner than that (working on my restoration for my '65 Mustang). You received the defective dash pad on 7/13. I've sent multiple emails wondering where is my refund. Nothing. Terrible customer service. How long would it take to send a quick email and give me the status? Or a phone call that was promised? I won't be ordering from CJ Pony Parts again. Which is too bad - because I have lots of parts I will be needing. But customer service is vital when you are ordering lots of parts, and it is completely lacking with this company.

Horrible customer service! I ordered a new dash pad and trim pieces for my '65 Mustang. Got the trim pieces and all was good. Got the dash pad and it had a flaw. I asked for a new one - and was told to send the old one back (they would provide a label), or I could get a discount. You don't want a flawed part when you are restoring a vintage car!! So I asked them to please send a new one out right away. They said they would have to wait to get the old one back. I told them I didn't want a new pad from CJ Pony Parts, as I didn't want to wait until they got the defective part and send me another one out. I was told I would get refunded my purchase price when they received the defective pad. The defective pad was received on 7/13. I have still not received my refund of $211 as of 7/28. I've sent numerous emails and tried calling (which is a joke). I have had no correspondence AT ALL from CJ Pony Parts. I was hoping they would be a good resource for my Mustang parts, but because of their lack of customer service I won't be ordering from them again. And I hope I get my $211 back.

We apologize for the inconvenience of receiving a defective part. In regards to the issues with getting a replacement, the representative you spoke with was following our replacement procedures. Looking at your account, the refund has been processed since this review was written. It appears there was a delay due to the return initially being set up for a replacement, not a refund. We are glad to have been able to correct that issue for you.

Took forever to receive my order. Call wait time is ridiculous. Once I received my order, turned out to be the wrong item. In order to return the product, I would have to pay over $100 to ship it back. What a waste of time and money.

they messed up my order and never sent headers, then took weeks for them the respond and refund, but then the refund 400 dollers short of the payed amount, tryed several times to get them to fix they say they will and do nothing, over a MONTH OF THIS CRAP, NOW PAYPAL DISPUTE IS ONLY OPTION, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY, I had them in a chat told them the issue spoke with the same person who said they would fix it a week ago then they closed the chat and refuse to reply I have pictures to prove it. terrible company.

I have been restoring my 1968 Mustang over the last 2 years and have placed several orders through CJ Pony Parts worth in excess of $2,000. Usually the order is spot on. On occasion the wrong part is delivered. I get it! However when trying to work with customer service via email or phone get ready for a huge disappointment and frustration. I have experienced no response via email on my last return inquiry and tried to follow up on the phone. As others have communicated return calls just don't happen and in a 10 minute period I was disconnected while on hold multiple times. I utilized the " we will call you back and you won't lose your turn in line" option. Once I was called back and then disconnected. It is like the phone system is overloaded or undersized for their business. Customer service issues will hopefully be resolved as a new CEO is in place as of February of this year. In the interim I have found an alternate parts distributor, which I assume is CJ's largest competitor and the pricing is 0-25% lower depending on the item. Fortunately I am close to finishing my restoration. If you are looking for multiple part orders for your project scour Google for comparisons. Cj is very aggressive at sending you sales information and specials to your email however they do not close the loop on basic "Best Practices" business concepts to insure consistent favorable experiences and reviews

I ordered parts from CJ Pony parts, after waiting over 3 weeks, they sent me the wrong parts. When you try calling them, you wait forever to talk to someone.I can’t get through to get credited for my parts.I would never buy anything from CJ’s again! I can see why they have less than a 2 star rating. I also see where CJ’s is not accredited by the Revdex.com. I found the same parts cheaper on other sites.

Trying to track an order is like trying to pull teeth
they dont respond to emails and you try and phone and its over an 1 hour wait
I moved over from american muscle because believe it or not there worse
How hard can this be? Its part of there job to insure customers get the parts they need and ordered
pity they dont use the same speed as they do taking your money!!

I placed an order for my mustang on June 5, 2020 and to date have not received my item yet. I knew that the item was backordered but since I placed the order I would try calling only to find out there was a wait time of over 300 minutes! Like who has that kind of time to speak to someone. Its almost as if they purposely do that so you could get frustrated and hang up. I have even tried the placing a new order option to see if its any faster. Which it was but when it finally gets to your turn they hang up the call on you. I received an updated email saying that the part would be available on June 25, 2020. I logged on to check status on 6/26/20 and it still says backordered. I’ve emailed them multiple times regarding an eta and no response. I barely got an email response today answering my question from 6/26 and they said they have no eta for me or any idea about it. It almost makes you feel helpless since you can not actually talk to anyone regarding this. My car has been down for over 2 months as I had to return original part ordered and order a replacement part. (Which btw also took about a month to come in) Once we receive our order, if we ever do I WILL NEVER order from this site again. They have horrible customer service and have no desire what so ever to help the client.

I am trying this again, not sure that my first review went through. In May we ordered a convertible top -order number: 45637993 on May 26th. We got a tracking number and tried to track it but it is not moving. We called and called and called and had to leave messages, leave our number for a call back in four hours. Emailed them, no response. Finally I am leaving a review here as I see that they respond to these. We just want some sort of communication. We understand the world is crazy right now, but just communicate. We paid good money for that new top for our 94 Mustang, we heard good things about the company and their products. CJ Pony Parts, if you read this we want to make sure you know that we ordered a White Convertible top for a 94 Mustang GT. We would love to have some sort of ETA on this. We would like to continue doing business with you but not sure that is going to happen.

I am restoring my 67 mustang and have purchased from multiple retailers. Of all, CJ pony parts has been my favorite. I've had a few issues with some items in orders - which they helped me clear up and take care of. They're consistent , hardworking and care about the customer. On top of that, the items I've ordered have ALWAYS arrived perfectly packaged and undamaged. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for Summit, which always sends me used and broken parts. CJ Pony Parts sells quality products and cares about their customers. Thank you!
Also, I think everyone should take Revdex.com reviews with a grain of salt. Most people only resort to them out of frustration. I am posting mine because I've been really satisfied with how they've treated me as a customer, and dealt with my issues head on.

I ordered touch up paint for my truck. Cheap enough but two days later , couldn't understand why it hasn't shipped yet bi looked up the order by number and someone, not me or anyone directly involved, cancelled the order. I called, got no where except a 335 minute wait for a call back or 89 minute hold time to speak to someone. I wrote and email which was very tersely told to contact the customer service with the same number I called before. Left another call back number and nothing. It's not even a lot ofoney, but I need the paint as it is discontinued and you have it in stock. I just need someone to freaking help me!! Customer service is horrendous and I will be telling everyone I know!!

Cyber Monday was a joke. I was ready to spend $500 with a 25% discount. The prices were the same as they've been for the last year with a fake MSRP price. I don't appreciate being lied to and called the Rep. about the discrepancy. He said that he didn't know what the normal price was.
Your loss CJPP I've restored six Mustangs and attend numerous car shows and will put the word out. Shame on you CJPP. I'll shop anywhere else.
