Paid deposit to rent a house and has been getting the run around like they do not know what is going on..keep giving me a date I will be able to move in contacted office still no update I would just like my deposit back it’s almost a month later

After signing the least on 6/29/18, me and the agent turn on the advertised central air and realized that no air was coming from the vent The agent called the vendor regarding the unit an and the responding immediatelyThey came out and determined that the copper pipes and coils were missingThey indicated that there was nothing they could do at that timeI called and spoke with someone on Friday evening and they indicated that they would pass this on to the emergency maintenance teamI also left a message for the property manager and the person who I signed my lease withThe temperature in StLouis had a heat index of over degrees and it was no way that I could move in or stay there until this was handledSomeone finally returned my call on 7/2/18, Toria Marshall, and she indicated that she would called the head of maintenance regarding this issueThere was never any follow up to keep be abreast of the statusIt was up to me to continue to call on updates on 7/6/18, I i
Terrible customer service Not completely honest and they do not keep their agents informed on the properties or requirements We were approved but only if we got rid of our dog then just to get us out of the office all of a sudden they would see what they could do and get back to us Ummmm Doubt that just based on the fact that they are very disorganized and rude They didn’t have a problem taking our money And even offered to let us put a deposit down knowing we had a dog, but at the very last minute all of a sudden our pet not allowed
There is no communication within this companyMy leasing agent never once introduced herself and refuses to speak on the phone, only through textWhen I am able to speak to a human and discuss my complaints all I am told is to keep my phone lines open because I will be receiving a call backI never receive any calls I was not able to sign or review my lease until the day of move inI was also told the day of move in I owed another $in fees and rent before they would give me the keysI paid immediately and provided a receipt to my leasing agent the day of move inI am now receiving calls and emails saying I have a payment due and that my lease will be terminated if not paidI have been calling my leasing agent, the corporate office, and the financial office and no one has been able to figure out the issueI already paid all my dues and the money was taken from my account but it still has not been solvedI still am questioned about itAlso, the maintenance man was suppose
