On 04-14-I paid this company for a monument for my husband The cost was $ In August they told me the monument was installed and they needed the final payment I sent them the final payment and went to my husband's grave and noticed the picture I requested was not on the monument I called him about this and he said he was unaware of this as he had not seen the monument He said he would have it installed It is now 09-22-and the picture is not on the monument I have called many times and he keeps giving me excuses

At the recommendation of the Cemetery, I contacted Classic Monument in September, to inscribe my mother's date of birth and death on an existing headstone According to my conversation with their representative, Erich Press, and per contract I remitted one-half of the amount due upon receipt of the contract and was to pay the balance when notified of "final engraving" Classic Monument cashed my check on October 5, I have contacted the company several times to get a date of completion with no result I did get a return call this week and they are asking for full payment before proceeding as they have had bad experiences with other customers in

The ceramic photo got dropped and broken on Sept20th. We reordered the picture that day, it came in today, Thursday, Sept28th. We installed the picture on the monument this afternoon. Everything is completedErich will contact the family today

I contracted with Classic Monument in August for the stone, lettering, photo, and vases for my mother's grave site I have had to contact Classic on a regular basis to get the work done At this time, the vases and photo are not at the stone and I am going to check since Classic did tell me that they had finally engraved the lettering on the stone It is now the holidays and almost months since they were paid to do this work

The picture that was brought for the headstone was when I ordered the headstone in aprilWhen I gave them the picture he looked at it and said ok The company waited till the headstone was placed in october and then stated that the headstone was placed without a picture because of poor qualityAnd asked for a new picture I immediately brought a new picture october 5,The man stated we will rush it since u been waiting so long I mean it will be done right but on a rushed order I waited over a month stopped in nov 10th to check on it because wanted it placed prior to my mothers bday the man stated it will be done in a couple of weeks.heard back from noone ! Until after complaint made I didnt receive any calls that it was gonna be placed but I received a call from the company stating it was done today saturday 12-19-and that he will be replying to the Revdex.com letter!

There are two orders here. The original order dated August is for inscribing the death date for Francis Evola and a ceramic picture with a bronze ring around the pictureThe death date was completed Octand the picture arrived on OctalsoUnfortunately the picture came in from our
supplier with the wrong bronze ring. We reordered the ring that week and talked to our supplier yesterday about the ETA for the correct ringThey told us they are shipping it NovWe will have it either Friday or Monday of next week. The contract for the two vases was written SeptWe will install the vases when we install the picture early next week (week of Dec4). I am sorry for the delay in the picture installation as our supplier made the mistake on that. The original order is 1/months old and the vase order is 1/months old and not the five months the customer complains about. We will get the vases and picture installed when the picture ring arrives. Again, we are sorry about the delays but the bronze ring error was out of our control

I APPROACHED CLASSIC MONUMENT IN LATE MARCH TO OBTAIN A COMPANION LAWN MARKER MONUMENT FOR MY DAD WHO PASSED IN MARCH THE INITIAL INTERACTION WAS PROFESSIONAL ENOUGH, I PUT DOWN A 50% DEPOSIT SO THE STONE WOULD BE ORDERED AND THE PROOF WOULD BE FINALIZED BEFORE THE STONE WAS DELIVERED TO C.M ERICH TOLD ME (VERBALLY) THAT THERE WOULD BE NO PROBLEM HAVING THE MARKER INSTALLED IN MAY (MY DAD'S BDAY IS IN MAY) OR AT THE VERY LATEST, THE FIRST WEEK OF JUNE AFTER IT BECAME APPARENT THEY WERE DRAGGING THEIR FEET, I DECIDED TO PAY THE REMAINING 50% HOPING TO SPEED THINGS UP THEY CONTINUED TO AVOID COMMUNICATING AND WOULD SUBMIT PROOFS THAT THEY KNEW WERE ERRONEOUS, TO STALL FOR TIME I WENT BACK AND FORTH CORRECTING PROOFS THAT THEY WOULD JUST CONJURE UP FINALLY, AFTER THREATENING TO CONTACT THE MO ATTY GEN OFFICE (WHICH I STILL WILL DO) AND A FRIEND AT CH TO RUN A CONSUMER COMPLAINT STORY (WHICH I WILL STILL DO); THEY FINALLY LAID THE STONE ON MONDAY, JULY 3RD SO THEY

I am rejecting this response because:  He had the pictures. It was the obituary from my mother's funeral. I handed it to him when I gave him the check. My daughter is going to send the photos to the business again in the hopes that they will complete the work. This has been going on for more than a year.

This order is from April 2016.  We have waited for the two photos to be provided to us by the customer. We received one photo from the customer this Spring and mailed her a proof (July 12, 2017) of what the laser etching will look like on the monument.  We have not received any reply...

to that proof mailed to her July 12.  The customer needs to provide us with the photo of herself so I can prepare a proof showing both laser etching portraits. We cannot finish our job if the customer does not give us the two portraits. Since we have waited such a long time for the portraits, we installed the marker without the etchings.  When the customer provides us with the portraits we will be able to complete our job.  We will remove the marker from the cemetery, complete the etchings, andreturn the marker to the gravesite.

One of our last correspondence with the customer was Jan. 25, 2016 when she gave us approval on the "etching layout" that is a portrait on the marker.  We had instructed the customer "that the marker would need to be paid in full before the installation is completed and that...

as long as the ground isn't frozen that it should be installed 2-3 weeks after final payment is made".  The customer replied that day, "That's not a problem at all. please contact me for payment when completed and it will be delivered".   We e-mailed the customer April 18, 2016 with a photo of the completed monument and an invoice for the final payment.  The original cost of the monument is $1443.72 and with a $600.00 down payment, the balance is $843.72.  As soon as the final payment is made we will install the marker in the cemetery.  Unfortunately, the weather this winter was sketchy with the snow and frozen ground to do many installations.  It is best to wait for warmer weather and now that the conditions are good, the customer does not want to pay the final balance.

Mrs. [redacted] signed a contract in the amount of $255.00 with Classic Monument to do the engraving on the stone of [redacted].  She gave us a check in the amount of $127.50.  Our policy is to only do service work and inscription (lettering) work after the full amount of the contract...

has been paid (AS NOTED HALF WAY DOWN THE CONTRACT "The balance is required to be paid before the monument is installed in the cemetery").  Nowhere on the contract does it say the customer is allowed to pay half down and then pay the balance after the work is completed, as the customer states.We are going to make an exception to our policy and complete the work tomorrow, December 16, 2016.  I hope Mrs. [redacted] is going to pay the final balance after we complete the work tomorrow, as she stated in her comments.   We changed our policy a few years ago because people do not pay for the work we do once it is completed in the cemetery.
