I was a former friend of Cliff which makes this situation even more difficult
He is a liar and cheat...simple...we had extensive conversations about the shirts that I orderedThey never arrived and he never spoke to me again
I am now filing a small claims suit

Clifton Charles never delivered all the shirts we ordered. They kept telling me they were mailed, they got lost, and then even had the nerve to tell us that we cancelled our order and they still kept our money. Stay away from them, they are deceitful!!! [redacted] tol us that the time limit for a dispute was long gone, because Clifton Charles kept stringing us along, until the time ran out when we could reverse the charge. What a bad experience.

Review: On April *, 2015, I went to the office of Clifton C[redacted] and met with Mr. Clifton B[redacted] to purchase and be fitted for 2 custom suits. After the fitting, I paid for the suits upfront and was told that the suits would be ready within 4-5 weeks. After 12 weeks, I have yet to receive the suits or a status update on when I can pick up the suits. I have been trying to contact the company and in particular Mr. Clifton B[redacted] since May *, 2015 via phone and emails. He finally responded to an email on June ** 2015 advising that the suits were ready but when I emailed him back asking what day I can pick them up, he did not respond. I have emailed him every week since and he has yet to respond back to me.Desired Settlement: I would like to get either a refund of the money I paid for the suits or delivery of the suits, with me trying both suits on and confirming that they meet all my specifications before accepting them.

Review: I ordered a made to measure suit from Clifton Charles during the last Friday in February 2015. At the time that I placed my order, [redacted] of the company, assured me that I would receive my suit within 4-5 weeks. Since that time has passed, I have reached out to [redacted] repeatedly regarding the status of my suit order. Not only has he been terribly unresponsive and slow to respond to my inquires--if he responds at all, which is a rarity--but he continues to give me the run around with excuses as to why he has been unable to provide my suit. Even as the anticipated delivery dates have changed, [redacted] has not proactively advised me of the changes. I have had to send him 2-3 email and text communications and threaten to file a [redacted] complaint before even getting a response. When he does actually respond, it has been nothing more than another delay tactic without any firm comment as to when my suit would be ready for any adjustments and final delivery. This is a terrible way to do business and the customer service has been deplorable. I have requested everything from the delivery of my suit to a refund of my money and [redacted] continues to ignore my communications.Desired Settlement: At this point I would like one of two things: either a full refund of my money or to be fitted with the suit, and have any additional adjustments made to it ASAP in order that I might move forward and complete this transaction. I have no interest in doing any further business with [redacted] as this has been the SECOND unsatisfactory experience I have had with his company and their deplorable customer service. A company that truly valued its customers and their patronage would likely provide some discount on this suit or include items gratis with the order (a shirt or matching vest, for example). However, that would likely make too much sense where [redacted] is concerned. I really just wiant my suit, properly tailored, or a full refund of my money after waiting for over 12 weeks for a suit that was supposed to take 4-5.

Review: Mr. C[redacted] was contracted to create several custom suits for a wedding in october. He took full payment ahead of time on 6/**/15 and stated that we would have he completed items by august. I have attempted to reach Mr. C[redacted] on numerous occasions but he does not respond to emails or phone calls anymore. After doing a internet search on Clifton C[redacted] numerous complaints and fraud reports have been filled against him

Review: On Friday April [redacted], 2014 I visited the Clifton Charles store to purchase four custom made dress shirts. The approximate cost of this order was $630. From the date that the order was placed until now, I have only received three of the said shirts. This led me to open this claim last year with Bank to America to recoup the charge that posted to my debit card. Clifton Charles disputed this claim (he won due to the time limit of the claim being too long) and I am still waiting to receive a refund for the shirt which is approximately $250-$300 (his invoice did not provide a breakdown of the exact cost, but due to the custom details it was on the higher end). He tried to [redacted] off pre-made shirts that were not my size at all and has not responded to my refund request. My last email to him was on Wednesday October [redacted], 2015.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund for the missing shirt and a partial for another shoddy shirt that was delivered.

Clifton will take your money and disappear! Do not do business with this person and his company!! I had to take him to small claims court to win a judgment because he won't answer his phone or email and refund me the money I paid for clothes I never received. Clifton is not an honorable person and should not be trusted!

Review: I ordered a custom tuxedo on 4/*/15 for a wedding May [redacted] 2015. Clifton informed me the tuxedo would take 4 - 6 weeks, meaning it should be completed the week before the wedding. The tux was not completed by the time I left for the wedding and needed to be overnighted arriving 1 hour before the wedding. The tuxedo came in a box (he said it would be hanging) and was dirty. It did not have any of the custom elements I choose. I made an appointment that day to come into his office Tuesday the [redacted]. He told me he would fix everything which needed to be fixed and it would take 1 week. As of 6/**/15 I have not received by updated tuxedo. I also purchased three shirts on 5/*/15. He told me it would take 4 weeks for the first shirt and 6 weeks for the second and third shirt. As of 6/**/15 I have not received any of the shirts. Clifton informed me that he was going to convert my tux into a suit free of charge and I could pick it up on Friday June [redacted]. It was not ready than. He also stated he would make me a new tuxedo with he elements I choose on 4/*/15.Desired Settlement: A delivery of the correct tuxedo with the custom elements choosen on 4/*/15, the delivery of the three custom shirts purchased in 5/*/15 and the original tuxedo which Clifton stated he would convert into a suit.

Review: 2/**/2014 - $2600 Purchase Order

1. Grey Suit w/vest I received the suit a few months ago (per below) but it does not fit properly. I am unable to wear this item.

After nearly a year, I still have not received the 5 shirts package. The Grey Suit (as mentioned above) I received in October of 2014, but the suit fits poorly, and I have been unable to reach Clifton Charles to request alterations or return the poorly fitting item. I did receive the Tuxedo w/Tuxedo Shirt in August of 2014, and those items fit very well - no issues.

I still have not received the Top Coat w/horn buttons and contrast stitching. The tuxedo vest arrived in August of 2014, but I have still not received the Top Coat.Desired Settlement: I have called & emailed [redacted] at [redacted] Charles) numerous times over the past 9 months requesting my items. [redacted] has not returned a single call or email since October of 2014. I want the items I purchased delivered (Top Coat w/horn buttons & Stitching, & 5 shirt package) and I also want a refund or a replacement for the ill fitting grey suit that he sent me in October of 2014.

Review: On June *, 2015 I visited Clifton to have a "custom" gray suit made for a friend's wedding (I was a groomsman) on August **, 2015. The groom, several groomsmen (who will likely also submit complaints to the Revdex.com) and I went to Clifton on around June *, 2015 to have our measurements taken. Clifton assured us the suits would (which he said were made in China) would be available in 6-8 weeks, which meant a delivery date in late July or early August. On August **, 2015, I contacted Clifton to find if my suit was ready to be picked up. For the next week he told my friends and me that there were delivery issues, but the suits would arrive in time for the wedding. The week of the wedding we were told the suits were not ready and Clifton scrambled to find several poor quality blue suits (the suits we ordered were gray), which me, the groom, and the other groomsmen all wore. I also had to pay additional costs ($145) to have the suit altered, as the off the rack one he supplied did not fit. We never agreed to accept these suits in exchange for the ones he never delivered. He assured us the original suits we ordered would be delivered, but to this day they haven't.Desired Settlement: I want Clifton to issue a full refund for $350 for the suit he never delivered and to reimburse me for $145 in alterations. The total I am seeking is $495.
