We are sorry that you are still experiencing pain and discomfort, our intent was to treat the discomfort and try less agressive treatment prior to referring you to an Endodontist Unfortunately, there are times that a specialist is needed, this being one of those casesOur intent was to resolve your concerns and do what we could to achieve the best oral health care

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
Regards,
*** *** I do not see a way that they are trying to resolve the issue! The dentist who performed the procedure is no longer in the office so no one can speak on his behalf! I was quoted on a root canal treatment In April, so why did I have to continuously go to them about discomfort that I told Dr*** about in MarchIf Dental works felt that I needed special treatment they shouldn't have scheduled me any other re-dos regardless if they were free of charge or notI would hope they are free considering that I had no pain until I went thereThey wasted my time & my money and for Dr*** to say there is nothing else that we can do for you like they were sick of my visiting and complaints about something that could be threatening to my health just shows bad customer service! Dr*** should have preferred me to a specialist to see what was causing the problem instead of him continuously telling me he didn't know why I was experiencing so much discomfort! If and when I do go to see a specialist what if the procedure needed cost thousands of dollars bc it's been prolonged since March! Each and everytime I went Dr***s response to my pain was he did not knowWhich is unexceptable in a professional setting when he should knowI've been suffering since March not being able to chew on the right side of my mouth at allEveryone in the office is new even the receptionist , and I've been going there since March and the people change that fastSpeaks volume about the business itselfI rejected the scheduled cleaning because I was told my dental insurance would not cover it! I'm a college student and I can't afford to throw my money in places that are not benefitting me! They saw my frustration each and every time I came in their officeAnd I'm still beyond frustrated! And to here them tell me after months their is nothing else they can do for me was a slap in my face & pockets because the issue could have been resolved

The patient presented on 7/23/15 with complaint of tooth #4 being tender -laterals with air and sensitive with occlusal since her original filling by Dr. [redacted] on 3/5/15. Dr. [redacted] bonded the tooth to try to de-sensitize it at no charge. She came back in on 8/3/2015 with the same complaint....

Dr. [redacted] did a "re-do" to increase the insulation of the tooth. On 8/13/2015 she came in for a scheduled cleaning and did not want the cleaning but instead wanted the dentist to see her due to the continued discomfort. Dr. [redacted] explained to her the only thing left to do would be to send her to the endodontist for evaluation and treatment. She called today and requested a copy of all her records and a copy of her receipts of payment. Please let us know the patients response.  This email address should be your primary contact for any DentalWork locations in SC. Thank you![redacted]Patient Relationship Specialist/Marketing Associate

So, why were multiple re-do's done on a filling if you in any shape or form considered at any moment special treatment was needed? I've never in my whole life had fillings done more than once. Was it something that Dr. [redacted] did wrong that he wanted to go in and fix? Or is that proper protocol? I'm the patient so when it comes to my health I can only listen to the experts who should know. My time and money was wasted. If the right person would have preferred me to a specialist when the problem first occurred since Dr. [redacted] said he didn't have the tools to detect the issue I would not be experiencing this. The issue was prolonged and because of your doctor I'm suffering the consequences, and he's continuing on with his practice.
