You get what you pay for hereThe membership is only $10.00/ mo (plus annual fees), but the hassle is just not worth itThey have periodically over-billed me, causing me to scrutinize my checking account each month for erroneous charges from themThe contact info for their corporate office is not easily accessible, so there is no chance of customer service if the complaint involves the manager or ownerThe staff are not particularly friendly and are occasionally blatantly rudeWhen I sprained my ankle a few months ago and had to suspend my training, it was a huge ordealThey seem not only competent, but unable to resolve my issues in a timely or reasonable mannerJust not worth it anymore

A HORRIBLE management policy traps people - they take advantage of their customers - I am not the only one - check out their reviews -- thoroughly unprincipled .. they do what I consider to be a bait and switch policy to most members and are completely inflexible -- if your schedule changes or you even move away ... sea lawyers - they will not budge.. a very unhealthy health club ironically -- steer clear! That is my opinion -

IncorrectI also have complete phone records:
I received a phone call from the staff at Club:on 7/at 11:30AM indicating that *** was no longer with Club:
*** called on 7/at 1:41PM and left a messageHe called again on 7/at 3:52PM and we spoke on the phone.
"Several occasions" is incorrect, he tried to contact me once and left a message.
My last training session (with ***) was on June 24, I did not receive any training or training materials after that dayEven if I had been able to start training with *** the day after he called the first time, that is a gap of daysThis is not timely or reasonable.
It is unacceptable to not provide the service as agreed uponIf I were contracted to cut your lawn and didn't show up for five weeks after you've paid me for them, and I told you that I couldn't because my lawnmower was broken, but I'd just mow your lawn five times next week. Do you think that's unreasonable? Would you continue to let me mow your lawn after that?
I paid you for a service and you withheld that service for AT LEAST days.
CT state law in regard to services offered: "...employee or agent of the health club which would reasonably lead the buyer to conclude that his contract had been cancelled or that the facilities were not actually available for use by the buyer."
I think that there is the reasonable expectation that Club:24's facilities (training) were not available for use by the buyer

I shouldn't have to be sucked into their gimmick!

We do understand. The $cancel fee is a courtesy that we offer instead of paying off the remainder of the agreement. We definitely are not saying you have to pay this fee or you should pay this fee we are simply saying it is an option you have instead of keeping the month agreement in force. Again we can certainly forward a copy of this agreement if you wish

Hi ***We checked into this for you and find that everything seems correct. Your service agreement was for weekly billing which occurs every other week for a total of payments. There were a few occasions where your payment was returned by your bank as unpaid but those have since
gone through. We show that all payments that were required were paid and no other payments were charged above the payments

I am rejecting this response because:
I agreed to training sessions at the cost of $35/week
($140/month) and a membership at the cost of $20/month
The first month I was charged $40/week ($160/month) and
$20/month membership
I went in and told them that an error had been made Nothing was done and the second month, the
same thing happenedThis time I was informed that no one was getting back to
them from the accounting department
So I got their attention by canceling my credit card so no
payment could be charged to it at all
The problem was finally resolved by combining my training
and membership fees to one payment of $($140training + $20membership), and
any fees they had collected for my membership was to be applied to my husband’s
membership fees
In their response, they stated that they had collected membership payments
from my husband, training payments from me of $(which were training and membership)
plus additional membership fees which they DID NOT apply to my husband’s membership
fees as they said they would
So I see it as they owe me, because they overcharged me,
months’ membership fees: or $plus tax that they charge each month
(All fees are plus tax)
THEN I will be happy

We are sorry you didnt enjoy the gym experience. We do find this surprising as this location generally gets very high marks from our members in a review service we use measuring net promoter score to measure the satisfaction of members. We can offer a
courtesy buyout of $which would be a savings off the price of continuing the membership for the remainder of the year term. Please let us know if this is something you would be interested in
