Good afternoon, As a response to [redacted] complaint she did contact us over the summer with the issue's she was having with her stones.  It was a very busy summer but we were able to get a project manager out at the end of August to assess the issue.  Upon seeing the damage it...

was determined that the stone had come off due to heavy traffic through the doorway by the homeowner where the stones are located.  This is not a warranty item since the stones were knocked off by the homeowners actions.  As a courtesy we did say that we would send someone out to glue the stones back in place.  We are still trying to catch up on a very busy season so we have not gotten back to [redacted]  We will schedule someone to come out and fix the stone as well as show the homeowner how to glue the stones in the future if these particular stone fall off again.Thank you [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Given the nature of my complaint and the strong possibility of litigation in...

the near future , I specifically requested to CMS that all communications between myself and CMS remain documented through email and/or certified mail. For CMS to advise the Revdex.com that they are awaiting a phone call from me when I specifically requested only documented communications is just another example that they are not taking my complaint seriously.

Review: signed contract on June 23, 2014 for stone work around my in ground pool and along side my house . work to commence August 4 which allowed scheduling time, etc. It is now August 12 and the company owner will not call me back regarding my displeasure with their not fullfilling the contract. I have requested my deposit of $550 back as they still have no start date and I will be closing my pool in two weeks. One of their production managers, [redacted] (? last name) says she cannot yet schedule the job and has taken my request to have one of the owners call me back. I also wrote into their web site with this request stated above. I have put off other major jobs to my property and scheduled all around the completion of this stone work so much progress has been lost with other home improvement projects.Desired Settlement: want my deposit of $550 back asap

We have been in contact with this customer and have since started and completed the project with no further issues

Review: On February 26th we signed a contract with CMS construction group to fix our front steps with paving stone. Permits were filed with Edison Township and the estimated start date of the project would be 4/20 due to waiting for the weather to get better. Totally understandable. Well, the project didn't start until May 20th because of waiting for the permits to be approved. During this month of delay I did not receive one single phone call to inform me of what was going on. I had to initiate the call and hen wait almost 3 days before someone called me back. Once the permits were approved and the hole was dug, the Township Inspector came out and approved for the steps to get started. The Inspector told me that all the steps must be equal height and I passed this along to CMS. The steps were completed on June 5th and like an it I paid them the final installment without getting the final inspection done. The final inspection was done on August 25th (the reason for the delay was we were shopping around for someone to do the railings)failing the steps because of a 3 inch difference between the top step and all the others. I immediately called CMS and told them the steps failed. I am constantly contacting them to find out when they will be out to fix the problem. I rarely get called back and then it's to tell me that they haven't gotten with the Inspector yet to find out what needs to be fixed. It has almost been 2 months now and I have been more than patient with them. Their lack of Customer Service and communication is unreal. They need to fix the problem with my steps.Desired Settlement: I had to pay $400.00 on the final installment. The owner did give me a $100.00 break due to their lack of communication. I am not looking for my money back, I just want my steps fixed before the weather starts getting bad.

Stone and patio pros / cms construction. Whatever they call themselves. Are not someone I would recommend!! If they operate there business as good as there manager talks they might have a chance. Work was done poorly. Month later I'm still waiting for a return call from the office to resolve my issues. There more concerned with getting stars them getting the job done correctly.... Very disappointed with them. Have multiple problems with the work. And they don't even have the decency to call me. But they took my money!!!!!! Such crap. Go with someone else. Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review: On 7/29/14 I signed a contract for CMS to (1) Repair mortar on flag stones on front landing and replace limestone tred, (2) Replace brick back steps and (3) remove asphalt and construct paver patio. Initial deposit of $650 was provided on date of signed contract. I received and paid $178 for Permit in 09/15/14. My start date was set and reset several times then in Dec. 2014 the work was start at which I gave them a $ 3050 check as per the terms of the contract. On 12/28/14 the owner, Charles offered me a discount of $350 for been patient with all the delays. Unfortunately due to weather conditions the work was delayed further. Once the weather stabilized a restart date was set and reset yet again and again. After many phone calls I finally spoke with the owner, Charles who offered me another discount this time $500. Also since there were some problems he was encountering he offered to upgrade me from what I originally wanted to paver steps. After waiting all this time I finally called in 6/2015 to cancel the contract and request a refund. Weeks later after many call he offered me less that 33% of what I have already paid. I told him that was unacceptable so he said that he would on 07/9/15 he would take a look at what was done. Again a cancellation. I asked him if either he could send one of his associate or if I could just take photos of the job site. After many cell phone messages and messages with the office I am still waiting for a reply. I am afraid to proceed with this job with another contractor without resolving this issue first.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund in the amount of $3878.

This includes my Initial Deposit. $650, my Start Deposit of $3050 as well as my Construction Permit Fee of $178.

It was CMS who did not do the work that they were contracted to do! Work that I should have taken no longer than 1 week !

I have been in contact with the owner of CMS Construction Group regarding complaint ID [redacted]I have accepted a refund in the amount of $3,500 which is to be paid off in monthly installments (minimum) of $500 over the next five months. The final balance of $1000, if no additional monies are received over the minimum installment amount, is to be paid off in March of 2016. Although the terms are still under negotiation, I do expect this issue to be resolved shortly.

I am rejecting this response because:

This offer was already extended and declined (via Email) on October 13th ( 8 days ago). We cannot extend credit terms in good faith when it has taken nearly 5 months to get CMS to even agree in principal to return our money. I advised CMS that we would contact all parties involved to advise that the issue is resolved as soon as CMS returns our deposit in full
