Good Afternoon, MrBernstein Your claim has already been processes with our claims deptIt takes some time for them to evaluate the damageAlso in addition to the watchThe company has no reason why to steal a watchThe Gentlemen in our staff are very professionalWe have touched base with the claims deptIn regards to the watch and damages we just ask you give us some time we will not ignore youI apologize for the inconvenience and we will ask the claims dept to contact you once again

Good Afternoon , Mr*** Once again we are deeply sorry for the inconvenience but the discount total we gave you is beyond accurateWe have also provided the best possible service we can provide for you and delivered within our guidelines to deliverUnfortunately we have to cover our expenses like We said previously and for your shipment we broke even onIf Coast To Coast were to give you an additional discount company would be at a negative and the service we provided is not for free

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:There are major concerns missing from the business reply Number one: the load was drastically over evaluated From cu ftto cu ft The load at arrival was measured by the driver and I and it was much closer to the original estimate of cuft There was also a charge of $to wrap tape and blankets around the itemsThey also charged outrageous prices for the boxes used to cover the glass My check did not bounce I stopped payment because Coast to Coast relocation did not address the concerns at time of delivery My wife and I called at least a half dozen times to try to resolve the overcharges but no one every called us back I signed the contract at the origin location under duress because I had to leave the next morning and the house was going on the market I was over a barrel and they knew it I am working with a representative at this time to try and resolve the issue So far we are still very far apart on the negotiations I was drastically overcharged for this move and will continue this complaint as long as necessary This is not the way to conduct business One more thing, I was told by the foreman loading the truck that I should have read the "fine print" and I would not have been surprised by the increase in charges from the estimate (which was supposed to be binding) This has been emotionally draining for my and wife and I and hope to get this resolved or do whatever the next step may be Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: It doesn't cover the agony and unscrupulous nature of doing business with this company, along with additional charges for items previously included in the Estimate and damage they caused during the Delivery As I stated in my original Complaint, my wife and I; both Senior Citizens, assumed we were dealing with Professional Motor Freight Carriers I am 68, and I have never heard of Estimating a Move without seeing it If we had known we would have not selected this company for the job Sounds like a Low Ball Bid to me So, there is the $ I negotiated on the phone with "Kevin" a co-owner of the company I know the Driver knew about this since I spoke with him the day of the delivery However, there is the $ surcharge for the Armoire which was included in the original Estimate Also, there is the EXTRA $for Materials and Packing Charge? Finally, the Driver that delivered the LOAD, hired assistants from [redacted] ***, and they damaged the Living room BLINDS and put a Hole in the Master Bedroom wall while delivering the Load I still find it Unbelievable that the Load went from cu ft to cu ft? I am willing to negotiate but not take a beating for $ Regards, [redacted] ***

One day prior to Mr*** move the dispatcher informed Mr*** that the company would be arriving with a truck to pick up his belongingsMr*** confirmed with the dispatcher regarding pick up so we went ahead and sent a truck towards his locationThe driver assigned to Mr.***
location gave him a courtesy call informing him what time he would be their for early morning and that is when Mr.*** decided to notify us stating he wanted to cancelCompany Policy requires that a valued customer is entitled of cancelling seven days prior to their scheduled pickup date with a guaranteed refund, in this caseMr*** decided to cancel hours before his pick up and the gentlemen were a couple of hours awayIn conclusion the gentlemen had to then make a u-turn and Company had to pay labor cost and fuel costThe company did not benefit from Mr*** deposit , the deposit was used to cover some of the expenses since we sent a crew and unit to his location

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

We apologize for the inconvenienceWe will contact customer directly most likely claims will have to evaluate the damages to recieve a compensation

Coast To Coast Relocation is trying to conduct the best outcome for Mr*** as noted beforeThe driver was not able to fulfill his job because of Mr***s actionsWe have had zero payment from Mr*** due to a confirmed charge-backAt this point we have a charge-back and a check that under our bank says it bouncedWe provided a full service for Mr*** from the moment we picked him up to the moment we deliveredWe still have his shipment and continue to pay storage costWe will once again be contacting Mr*** to make arrangements for him to receive shipmentLast communication we had with him was a voicemail we left from the general manager regarding our most reasonable discount we can provide for himFurthermore , We will not be able to release shipment to Mr*** until payment is made we have been consistent with our guidelines and hope to come to a conclusion

On January 22nd Ms *** confirmed a reservation with Coast To Coast RelocationDuring verification it clearly stated verbally and on the contract our general delivery windowWe do not promise delivery dates as we are transporting multiple house holds within one truck and traveling
over miles normallyThe window that was given to Ms *** was - daysAlso Ms *** has stated that she couldn't get a hold of anyoneI don't believe she was calling the correct numberAlso if she would have contacted us on the number she could have gotten someone else in a different departmentWe put in consideration that Ms *** wasn't satisfied with our services so we discounted her move a few hundred dollars

We originally quoted Mr. *** at 34 pieces when he did the inventory over the phone. When the truck arrived he really had 105 pieces. He acknowledged that the estimate would be more and agreed to sign. He spoke with the owner who agreed to give him a discount of $200, which the driver didn’t know until after. We apologize about this and will send a check for $200 to Mr. ***

We will be dealing with customer directly to resolve this matterThe owner *** will be reaching out within a few days

On the day of Mr.*** moveThe gentlemen in charge of the job did a full walk through around Mr .*** residency the gentlemen informed Mr *** that the job would be taking up more space and Mr.*** agreed with the gentlemen stating he knew he was adding a lot more then what was on the
inventoryThe Gentlemen also had another job to do that day and had to reschedule it due to the size of Mr.*** moveCompany policy states that from your earliest delivery date Coast to Coast Relocation has 3-business days to deliver in which we did deliverOur customer service repAlso was in contact with Mr.*** multiple timesOn the day of his delivery an exclusive unit was sent to Mr.*** residency and Mr.*** did not have the proper funds for us to deliver his household goods after already giving Mr.*** a discount of $prior , Coast to Coast Relocation had no choice but to give an additional $1,off the final balance due to Mr*** not having the fundsFurthermore , the total taking off of Mr*** move was $2,and the company feels we have been more then reasonable with Mr.*** seeing that after all shipping cost and labor cost company did not make a profit

Company will handle the situation directly with ***We assure her houslehold goods are safe

On the day of the move the gentleman in charge did a full walk through of what they were going to load. Mr. [redacted] was informed and agreed to the price of the move prior to loading. The crew loaded everything from his residency along with cleaning up after themselves and based on the feedback from...

the gentleman they stated the customer was very happy and impressed with their work. On the day of Mr. [redacted]s delivery the driver showed up and waited more than an hour to unload shipment and Mr. [redacted] refused to make payment and did not let the driver do his job. The driver had no choice but to take the shipment into a nearby storage facility and continue his route out west since we also have other families in the unit we have to accommodate to. In addition to the shipment the only payment Coast to Coast Relocation has received from Mr. [redacted] was his initial deposit. Mr. [redacted] made a payment of a personal check that returned bounced. Furthermore, Mr. [redacted] had the option of refusing our services anytime prior to loading and we would of more then gladly refunded him his deposit if services were not provided. The manager will be contacting Mr. [redacted] over the weekend to discuss the status of his shipment. I assure his household goods are safe and payment must be made in order for Mr. [redacted] to receive his shipment from storage being that we have already intended to deliver.

We apologize for the inconvenience Coast TO Coast Relocation will reach out to the customer directly to resolve this matter

The customer only accounted for 35 pieces on the phone inventory, whe... we arrived at the residences the customer had a total of 105 pieces to be moved. Our pricing is just as accurate as doing a walk through of the residence. The customer was not honest with us so therefor our pricing was off. When we arrived at the residence the customer signed off on the revised estimate before any services were rendered. Customer acknowledged the price increase and agreed to sign contract. Customer also had the opportunity to cancel and receive a refund for the deposit. We also inform all customers that everything needed to be packed up such as mirror's pictures, tv's and all glass breakable items. The customer did not have those items packed up, therefor we professionally packed them up with the customer's consent. Before delivery we offered to discount 200 dollars customer did not agree. During delivery customer told the delivery driver that we discounted 500 dollars, which was a lie. So the offer was taken off the table by the owner.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Based on the response of the company, the numbers don't add up to what I have in writing and what I paid. They are stating in their response they took off a total of $2,140 from my final bill and from the paperwork I have it simply does not add up. I have a total amount charged of $8,115 - $715 deposit = $7400 to be paid upon delivery. As stated in the first complaint, I tried numerous times to get a hold of someone to discuss the price discrepancy, from the quote given to us, through the week before our things were delivered. Upon delivery I had to refuse payment just to be able to talk with someone, which through that conversation they did lower the bill to be paid from $7,400 down to $6,500, and if I refused that discount our things would be shipped back to their warehouse in Atlanta. To me that is a discount of $900, not $2,140! The difference from what actually happened and what they are stating they took off is $1,240. Now, I will acknowledge that I mis-typed in my previous complaint that the bill was $8,700 instead of the $8,115 that it actually was written on my Bill of Lading. However, even at the $8,700 cost stated in the previous complaint, the amount the company says they took off the bill still does not match up. $8,700 - $715 deposit = $7,985 to be paid and I paid $6,500 upon delivery which is $1,485 taken off my bill, still not $2,140 and is a difference of $655.  I believe a minimum of $655 needs to be refunded since I did mis-type the total amount on the previous complaint. However, I do believe I should still be refunded the actual amount of $1,240 since they stated they took off a total of $2,140 from the bill. I surely did not see where that amount came off my final payment when I handed over $6,500 to the drivers of the company.
