Tires dissengrated quickly! Figured I would submit a warranty claim since I had only owned them for 6 months....nope! They denied it and said the giant cracks in my side walls were "normal" weathering.....stay away, I wouldn't trust these tires!

We gave the customer the option of replacement or a refund.

Sent: Tuesday, September 01, 2015 9:22 AMTo: [redacted]Subject: Re: Revdex.com of Houston and South Texas- Complaint regarding Your Business #[redacted]  Customer has responded that he did not run the tires under-inflated. The problem is; that it is simply impossible to prove that he did not run the tires under-inflated. The facts are with the pictures that he provided, showing the sidewall cracking and the tire wear. The pictures provided are the only thing that we have to determine if the tires were in fact under-inflated which would negate our warranty. Our warranty, that is available on our website for review and is included with every tire purchase, is very specific as to what is covered. (see attached).  This link below is one of the sources that we use in training our Customer Service department to determine potential causes for tire failures. http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/how-to/g810/10-things-your-tires-can-tell-y... Slide two "Cracking and Bulging" is "Exactly Identical" to the picture that the customer provided. This customer's request for a full refund is a ridiculous request and was denied because the issue with his tires is not a workmanship or manufacture defect which is what is covered in our warranty. In one of the pictures he uses a dime to show how much tread is left on the tire. Industry standard is a Liberty Head Quarter. In regard to his comment that we do not honor our warranty program is completely false, since I have personally approved warranties when in fact it is in accordance with our written warranty policy.

[redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.
The tires were never ran low, tread wear is perfect across the section and on every tire, 3 of the 4 are faulty. They never asked for measurements or anything they just denied it because they don't honor their warranty.

[redacted] received a full refund of $363.36 - 07/03/15

I run [redacted] and I installed Treadwright Guard Dog tires on a project vehicle we are building. The tires have performed phenomenally and I couldn't be happier. They are tough and provide excellent traction. I would definitely recommend to others looking for a high quality tire made in the USA

[redacted]   Mr. [redacted] filed a warranty claim on 8/30. The pictures provided showed rubber curing shrinkage at the bead line exposing the original casing underneath. The report from the warranty examiner is as follows;    This is cosmetic. Casing is not separating. This is extra rubber bellow the bead guard exposing the casings true rubber underneath due to cold curing shrinkage.  Authorized to offer refund as if these were blems. 20% (DG)   This is a potential occurrence with remold tires. With our Bead-2-Bead remold tires we have buffed down and replaced the rubber on the side walls to about 6-mills. The rubber is not able to be replaced inside the bead itself so it comes to the very edge. Sometimes the rubber will shrink from the edge line with contraction.   Mr. [redacted] was informed of the situation, that it was a cosmetic situation which is not covered by the warrant and that it is not creating a hazardous situation with his tire. He was offered a 20% credit/refund which is the discount amount that we would offer for a blemished tire.     Once again the customer has purchased a re-manufactured tire.   -- Randy [redacted] Marketing Coordinator - TreadWright Tires cell 281-908-9965 [email protected] www.treadwright.com

[redacted] filed a warranty claim that was reviewed. He was contacted for more information, specifically that we needed documentation from the tire shop indicating how much balancing weight was required for each tire which is in accordance with our warranty program. We never received this documentation and was later informed that he was driving on the tires. If the tires were not able to be balanced properly the tire installer should have never mounted them on the vehicle. The fact that they did in fact mount them on his vehicle and allowed him to drive on them, indicates to us they were balanced within industry standard or that the tire shop was not concerned about the balancing of the tire. His warranty and refund request was denied since the tires were used.   -- Randy [redacted] Marketing Coordinator - TreadWright Tires cell [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the...

business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  As initially explained, two of the provided Treadwright tires with the "[redacted]" casings have deep grooves in the sidewalls where the original rubber was ground off...the replacement remanufactured tire-tread/side-walls should have been brought up higher on the side-walls so that the ground off areas would have been covered. There was another tire which was sent with a "[redacted]" casing...all four Treadwright provided tires should of had "[redacted]" casings as requested on the initial order...wanted all the tires to match.
So, the two replacement tires which were sent by Treadwright today will cover the two "[redacted]" casings with the grooved side-walls...but there is still the issue with the "[redacted]" tire/casing which needs to be replaced wth an additional "[redacted]" casing.
