Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer's situation I spoke with Mr [redacted] on 10/and apologized for the trouble he's had with his GE Gas Range He explained the issue he was having in great detail which was then communicated to our engineering department The appliance did get exchanged through the GE Consumer Relations department which was installed on 10/ I have confirmed that it is now working to his satisfaction Mr [redacted] did mention that he had a box (wrapped together as one) of new parts that he would be glad to return I told him that I would try and obtain an RMA to get those parts picked up and returned back to GE That RMA number is: 0003474, with a tracking number of: [redacted] and is scheduled for pick up on 11/ Please contact me if you have any further questions or concerns Sincerely, [redacted] Program Manager

11/13/ We reviewed this case and service history and found that the customer was overnighted the parts needed to repair the unit and they were delivered the day after his initial call to GE for service The technician we have in the area was booked up for two weeks and while we did have other options available the customer advised us he could wait During the time that he was waiting for service he called us multiple times with different stories We were advised that he had a friend fix the unit using the parts we sent but that didn’t repair the problem During this time we attempted several times to set up service for him but he chose to replace the unit with a non GE product Thank you, [redacted] Water Account CCC GE Innovations Team
