Review: I live in an apartment where I have to use a laundry room to wash my clothes. The washer and dryers are supplied and kept up by a company called [redacted]. If the machines take your money or do not work etc etc then the only way to get your money back is by calling the supplied faded phone number and talk to a foreigner about what happened. Then they apologizes and send you a check for a dollar which you cant do any thing with. I got a 1 dollar check in and it would cost me 3 dollars to cash it. They know I cant do any thing with it so they keep their money and they have made money from their bad machines.Desired Settlement: Come up with a more common sense solution to refund money. What am I going to do with a 1 dollar check if I dont have a bank account?

The address on their envelope is different than the one I used for this report.I tried to use it but was told I could not.

Review: The Brooklyn Marine Park Coop uses CSC Service Works in their laundry rooms. On June **, 2014 I inserted the money card and $20, but it didn't register the money - so I lost it! I then called the company to report the loss and since then repeately called them about the loss and they have sent me the two cards (on the enclosed page) supposedly worth $20. and both are invalid because they code is registered to some other place. My confirmation is [redacted]. They send me the enclosed letter to me and the last thing I was told they're sending a $25 card for my inconvenience. It's September and I received nothing. The last phone call to them, I asked to talk to a [redacted] - told she's not there - they'd g-mail her???Desired Settlement: Since the money cards sent to me have been invalid, I'd like a check sent to me for the $25 they were giving to me!!

Review: After multiple calls to this location and talking to supervisors I was told that my request for $250 was approved as a refund to losing $250 plus was lost over the coarse of one year. When I would call to get the status of this I always made sure that it was approved for $250. I received a check in the mail after over a month of back and forth calls or should I say me calling because that will not give me a call back no matter what they say. The check I received was for $50 which means every time I called they lied to me. I had to call twice today just to talk to someone to get the problem resolved but now they are saying its against company policy all of the sudden to refund me the full amount. Their excuse is that I need to call the same day when I lose money in their machines. I lost my hard earned money in their machines that continue to have problems everyday even though they claim to fix them.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the full amount of $250 refunded back to me and at this point would be $200 since I have already received $50. I would also like a apology for all the times that I called and was lied to.

Review: The laundry machines installed at [redacted] and [redacted] are in disrepair. Constant calls and emails for service go unanswered.Desired Settlement: Repair damage machines. Replace machines that are beyond repair.

Review: On the night of 12/**/2013 my wife [redacted] went downstairs to the basement of [redacted] to do her laundry. The dryer (machine # XWH-078) had a broken belt. As a result the machine # XWH-078 burned our clothes, and made numerous holes in our clothes. My wife's nightgown, 3 pairs of my underwear and 1 of my tee shirts were all damaged. We submitted claim # [redacted] online on 12/**/2013 at 12:31pm for $64.95 in damages. On 3/*/2014 at 9:20am I spoke to [redacted] who informed me that my claim would receive top priority and I would get a call back from a superior immediately. I never received any callback. On 3/**/2014 at 4:58 pm I spoke to [redacted]. He told me that our request for a refund was not in their system. Their was a request for a repair but no refund request attached to claim # [redacted]. He opened a new claim with # [redacted]. We have yet to receive any correspondence from Coinmach.Desired Settlement: We seek reimbursement of $64.95 for the damaged articles of clothing.

Coinmach picked up the damaged items of clothing today. We have changed our dispute to $25.00. They told me that they would contact us next week. I will let you know how it proceeds.

Review: Coinmach manages washing machines in this apartment building, they are consistently out of service, depending on the tenants of the building to contact them when a machine is out of order. The timeframe to fix a machine is months, Coinmach refused to maintain their equipment. Many customers lose money in these machines only to receive a check in the mail for two dollars weeks later. Their method on repair is to make it the tenants responsibility to contact them as opposed to them maintaining their equipment. Perhaps a class action law suit is in order.Desired Settlement: I would like the machines fixed and properly maintained by Coinmach.

Review: [redacted], a subsidiary of Coinmach, owned and operated laundry facilities in my apartment building in NYC until early in 2014 when the building management ended its relationship with them and instead put in place the services of a competing laundry services vendor. [redacted] used a card system whereby users load money onto a [redacted] card (akin to a debit card) in order to pay for services from their laundry equipment. When [redacted] machines were removed from my building, I contacted the firm to inquire how to return my card and be refunded the money remaining on the card. I was instructed to return the card by mail, which I did, but my promised refund check has never arrived. I have spent the last several months going around and around with Coinmach trying to get my refund. I have received numerous promises of payment but no such check.Desired Settlement: Reimbursed the money owed to me and some assurance that they have not stolen money from customers in my position who are less persistent than myself.

Review: Put in money for laundry card, none issued. Machine only takes 10 dollar bills. Company issuing new card in 1-2 weeks. Company needs to improve customer service policy given teh nature of the product they offer and the specificity of the requirement (10 dollar bill) requires a huge amount of inconvenience for the customer.Desired Settlement: I want 20 dollars in credit for the time and money it took to go and find a 10 dollar bill (ATM fee for cash and then buying something I didn't need)

Review: My apartment building decided to change laundry companies, which was a good thing since the machines that Coinmach provided were old, they were always broken, and repairs never seemed to be completed. We were told by our management company to write to the company to get our money back on their issued laundry cards, which is Coinmach's responsibility. I wrote to them in October, sent the letter and two laundry cards to their ** office (which were their instructions), and expected a refund of over $25; which was the amount of money I put on their company issued laundry cards. One month later, I recieve my original letter and cards in an envelope from their [redacted] office, with a post-it note saying that they can't give me a refund, without any identification of who wrote the message. I have since contacted them multiple times to try and resolve the issue, and I have received either no response, or a blase reaction of someone getting back to me, and they never have. It has been over two months, and there is no reason why this company should not honor a refund policy if my building no longer uses their services, or even take this long to respond to a customer.Desired Settlement: I want my money back. And I want the money back on every phone call, and letters I have mailed to them since they arenot answering any correspondence.

This company washing machine ruined over $800.00 worth of my clothes and sheets. After almost of year of unprofessionalism from this company; they offered me $300.oo in laundry expense and a letter in writing explaining the outcome of their decision. I was not given $300.00 in laundry expense only # cards at $99.00 each and still no additional money for my clothes and no letter telling me how their decision was made to disregard my expensive sheets and clothes.

I would like the balance of my money and the rest of the $300.00 in card and an investigation of this company that uses washing machines that never work properly to rob tenants blind.Desired Settlement: I would like the balance of my money for my clothes and sheets and the balance of the cards that were to be $100.oo each.

Coinmach Corporation operates the laundry room services for my apartment complex in Denver, CO. It appears as though they do not perform regular maintenance on their machines as they are frequently out of order. On multiple occasions we have attempted to use their online service to load money onto our laundry card (this is the only option) and were not able to redeem the money onto our laundry card. On each occasion we were forced to utilize other methods to get our laundry done. The customer service representatives, while kind, have minimal knowledge and offer little to help our situation. We still have not resolved the most recent occurrence.

Review: We used a faulty washing machine and dryer at our apartment complex. Neither the washer or dryer was in proper working order, and resulted in us wasting around $6 and being left with clothing that was dirtier than before it went in. I contacted Coinmach to inform them of the faulty machines and to ask if it would be possible to get a refund for the money we spent on the faulty machines. This was over a week ago now and I have yet to receive a response from Coinmach and the machines in question are both still faulty.Desired Settlement: $6.00 refund
