Dear [redacted],I am very sorry to read that [redacted] continues to experience a concern with her 2016 [redacted]  As she stated in her letter, she met directly with a Representative from Hyundai Motor America, [redacted].  Mr. [redacted] test drove with [redacted] and found no concerns...

with the vehicle in regards to the idle vibration.  They drove another vehicle and it was determined that this vehicle had more of a vibration than [redacted]’s.  An ECM updated was completed; however, Mr. [redacted] advised [redacted] that her vehicle is operating to its design and function and no further attempts to improve the concern would be rendered at this time.  [redacted] explained the Revdex.com 3rd party resolution process. I believe this case was meant to be open for Hyundai Motor America. If there is any further information that I can provide please feel free to contact me at [redacted]@rrrautos.com or ###-###-####.Thank youRose *.  Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: The vehicle that we test drove actually had a lot less vibration than my vehicle it was a very mild vibration. I also believe the vehicle that we test drove was a 2017 and not a 2016 which is what the representative originally requested to compare [redacted] 2016 with [redacted] 2016. I decline to accept this response as I bought a Brand New Car from the Dealer with the expectation that a Brand New Car should not have a Vibration while idle. This seems to me that something was missed during testing or some where along the production line, not sure why Hyundai keeps saying this is Normal. As a Consumer who has bought several cars in the past and have never had any concerns with previous car purchases. The fact that I have been driving this vehicle every day from the purchase date, I would have to disagree with the statement that it is "Normal Operation". Normal Operation for a Brand New Vehicle would be a smoother and quieter ride with no idling while my foot is on the break and my entire car should not be vibrating/shaking. This is unacceptable for a Brand New Car to Vibrate as such and every passenger in my car feels this vibration in their seat. I am requesting that Hyundai please do something to correct this problem as it is not "Normal Operation". There must be some other options that can be exhausted before just telling me the Consumer that you have sold me this vehicle and you are refusing to take steps to make it right. (That's just like going to the Doctor and he tells me I have Cancer and oh well there is nothing I can do for you...in other words the doctor will not offer to try Chemo or Radiation. The doctor just tells me it is what it is and I'm on my own). I have paid for a car/goods and it is not operating as it should for a Brand New vehicle. Please escalate my case to the next level as I would like resolution to this very serious issue. Thank you.
