Colorado Parking service has stands by its last responseRefund has been denied

Colorado Parking Services is hired to enforce parking rules on private property The rules of this property clearly state in both your lease and signs posted on the property that you must have a permit displayed in your vehicle to park in that lot When your car was booted there was no permit in your vehicle a fact that you don't even dispute Even though you know you made a mistake you continue to slander this company instead of take accountability for your actionsWe are the number one Parking company along the front range our customer satisfaction among the property managers that hire us is through the roofThe reason you have places to park in your lot is because of Colorado Parking ServicesBased on the evidence presented by you and the fact that you do not denied not having a permit displayed in your vehicle your appeal has been denied

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: management has called twice to complainYou can call management to confirm Meeting the guy as he puts the boot on doesn't seem unattendedThe guy raced to photograph the window of my car as I was talking to himResidents should be allowed to unload and load a carDo you do this to senior citizens or pregnant mothers? You should be ashamed of yourselves and your so called services Sincerely, [redacted]

Your car was parked in in a permit only lot without a permitYour request for refund was received and denied due to the fact you did not have a permit in the car Letters do not workWhoever told you you could put a letter in your window and it would be as good as a permit needs to reimburse
you not Colorado Parking Services Our pictures show no permit you admit to not having permit therefore you will not be receiving a refund

In order to respond I need the number in the top right hand corner of the receipt that was given to you

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: my claims are not falseTheir response (calling me a liar), is unfortunateI would like to make it clear that we have been using this lot with no issue for yearsOne day, signs appeared and two of our seminar leaders' cars were bootedYour parking "enforcer" took photos and followed them to *** ***Could this person have said something? Given a warning? Suggested that they move their cars immediately? Your people were literally within feet of our presenters, and chose to "enforce" without any sort of basic human communicationI have also called your business to try and reason with you, and have not received a call backThis is just basic bad businessRude, uncompromising, and mean. Our people did not "choose" to ignore your signsThey have been parking there without incident for years and probably didn't even seen themIsn't there any room for an innocent mistake? Apparently not.You can choose to argue and dismiss my complaintFineBut I will contribute to negative reviews and continue to communicate your rude treatment of reasonable peopleI suggest that you consider issuing warnings, issuing lower priced tickets, or some other form of getting the message acrossBooting someone's car and holding it hostage for a $"fine" is extortion, in my opinionI will follow up with the City of Boulder in the form of a complaintWhether or not parking "enforcement" on private property is legal or not, there is the question of ethicsPlease consider being reasonable
Sincerely,

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/07/27) */
I cannot comment on this with out the following information date, time and locationI will be happy to respond once I get those detailsWithout that information I cannot respond

The car was parked without a valid permit being displayed in the windowWe enforce private property parking rules Your daughter may of had a permit but it was not displayed in the car at the time it was booted I would be happy to provide photo evidence if you can tell me
what the ticket number was (located top right on receipt) and where your daughter says the permit wasI will then attach a picture to show that your daughter did not have a permit

After reviewing you complaint and checking the signs at the lot your observation is correctThe sign going into the lot had been stolen / removed We have replaced the missing signsThere is a way to dispute the charge in writing to the address located on the back of the receipt the person
removing the boot has no authority to remove them without charge Due to the signs not being there we want to make sure you receive a full refund I sent you an email requesting further information in order to process your refund

Colorado Parking service has stands by its last response. Refund has been denied.

I am rejecting this response because: management has called twice to complain. You can call management to confirm. 303 413 1227.  Meeting the guy as he puts the boot on doesn't seem unattended. The guy raced to photograph the window of my car as I was talking to him. Residents should be allowed to unload and load a car. Do you do this to senior citizens or pregnant mothers? You should be ashamed of yourselves and your so called services.
Sincerely,

We have daily contact with the management of the property you were booted at. If they had complained to us about this boot you would have been...

refunded already. This has not happened so your claim that you have the support of the Property Manager holds no weight.   You were parked in a lot that requires a parking permit to be displayed in the Window of your vehicle. At the time your car was booted there was no permit in the car.   The amount of time you were away from vehicle, 5 minutes or 5 hours is irrelevant. When the Parking Officer finds a vehicle unattended they have no way of knowing how long it has been there they only see that it does not have a permit.  Here are the facts You parked your car in a lot that requires a permit without a permit.  You then left your vehicle unattended only to come back and find a Parking officer placing a boot on the vehicle. These are facts that even you don't dispute. So based on this evidence your claim for refund has been denied.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: if the permit fell off the rear view mirror and then was shown to the person who came to remove the boot, then you should have removed the boot with no fine. The fact of the matter is, she lives in unit [redacted], she was parked in space [redacted], and has a valid permit to park in that lot. Your job is to remove vehicles that are not permitted to park there not generate income. [redacted] Complaint filed today as well, until this fine is reversed.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
