Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] Regards, [redacted] This is liable and should be dealt with in court What Mr [redacted] says is inaccurate I called Columbus Campers having found the camper we wanted online on January and Mr [redacted] said that we could have the 'deal' done and approved etc by Tuesday My husband's businesses are in Vermont and so our mailing address has always been the PO box in Vermont where his businesses are We own a house right over the border in [redacted] MA and we put both as the mailing address & physical address When THEY filled out the final paperwork they filled In the PO Box in [redacted] but put the [redacted] , MA city which of course was incorrect I am a realtor and own and manage several vacation rentals in the [redacted] *** We have recently become Florida residents and are building another house on OUR property in near [redacted] ***t which is where the camper will be housed All this was explained to Mr [redacted] and for him to say that we are scammers is liable and should be dealt with in the courts We have impeccable credit and are [redacted] customers and were approved immediately by [redacted] and each time we tried to make an arrangement to come and pick up the camper we were given different reasons why it couldn't be picked up TEN days later after we had scheduled and rescheduled with my brother in law to come and pick up the camper Mr [redacted] said that it wouldn't be possible because the address had to match our Florida address on our licenses and that we would now have to start with a new contract At this point we were completely exasperated and decided that there would be a good chance, we would make the hour trip to find yet another reason we could not have the camper Mr [redacted] told my husband that that he couldn't have his $deposit back for days because the check and paperwork had been mailed to the bank and it would be that long before they got it back When my husband confronted him with the fact that the CASHIERS check had been made out to Columbus Camper and would make no sense to have been mailed to the bank, Mr [redacted] THEN said that he hadn't said that but rather it was 'his' policy to wait days to be sure checks cleared A CASHIER's CHECK doesn't clear, it's money and is instantly credited to his account which happened days ago He continued to refuse to send us our deposit check back whereupon my husband said he would contact the Revdex.com and the Governor's Office of Consumer Protection, feeling at this point we'd never see the money Mr [redacted] was on speaker phone and I will quote his words before he hung up on us "Now you won't get your money in days, you'll get it when I've gotten notice from the Consumer Protection office." If you go online and google 'reviews' for Columbus Camper you'll find many such stories as mine and particularly referencing the 'owner' himself, and then to the complaints filed and the "F" rating given Columbus Campers by your Revdex.com, it speaks for itself To say we are scammers? We have worked since day one for the Consumer, we are at the mercy of any Manufacturer when it comes to these items and parts issues , we do feel for the buyer and we have called the warranty department at least times on behalf of the buyer , here are a couple emails we have sent back and forth to [redacted] ***.From: [redacted] To: [redacted] Sent: 8/27/3:20:P.MEastern Daylight TimeSubj: WILDWOOD ( [redacted] ) Hi ***, I spoke with Mr [redacted] yesterdayHad a good conversationI had indicated that our parts department had sent you a card tag for the tent end to be shipped back to us for repair or replacementI asked if he needed the trailer anytime soon or if it was ok to take the bunk end off and return it to usThe customer has no immediate plans to use the trailer, so he is good with it being sent back Once [redacted] in parts has the tent, I will monitor it and keep you updated with the progress At your earliest convenience, please have it boxed up and sent back.Thank you, *** [redacted] INCWILDWOOD DIVISION CELL: [redacted] ***) In a message dated 9/2/10:14:A.MEastern Daylight Time, [redacted] writes: Already contacted partsWill update regarding new call tag From: [redacted] [mailto: [redacted] ] Sent: Tuesday, September 02, 10:11AMTo: [redacted] BonterSubject: Re: FW: WILDWOOD ( [redacted] ) I have the top in a box for two weeks but I do not have the return label [redacted] We are working on trying too fix this problem for the consumer but again we are not [redacted] Wildwood,we can only do so much and yes we have asked sometimes for the consumer to call because the factory reacts quicker for the consumer than they do for the dealers itself

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowFirst...On July 11th I did as they asked and took the trailer to them to look atThe service man assessed the problem and determined it was a bad master cylinderHe told us that it can take a few weeks for the part to come in and therefore we could take the boat and trailer home and they would call us when the part came in I watched him write down the needed information to order the partsI waited 2+ weeks and never heard from anyoneI had to call and ask for a status update Secondly - demanding...probably soIf I do not demand it be repaired, how else can it get repaired because Columbus Camper has not made an effort to repair it *I never wrote in my Revdex.com complaint that I was understanding - because I am not understanding...I am the oppositeI do not understand why I have waited this long to get a warrantied part fixedPolite - I did not use profanity, I did not raise my voice, I have waited weeks with no update on the status of the part that was to be ordered I simply wanted answers and feel I am getting the run around Lastly, now I am told that In order for the trailer to be fixed, [redacted] has to come fix the brake system and the boat has to sit at Columbus Camper until this happens I was NEVER told thisThe man at the service center said he was ordering the part, it would be about weeks, then I could bring the trailer back for the part to be replacedBUT - at the end of our conversation on 7/25/15, I asked the gentleman on the phone what would be a good day to bring the boat...unfortunately he had already hung up on me! I work two full time jobs, and my husband works in [redacted] , therefore I need to schedule a date and time to bring the trailer and need to know a close estimate on the date the trailer will be ready because I have to arrange my schedule and make sure I have access to a vehicle that can pull a trailer/boat without brakesUnfortunately, I was not given this opportunity because the phone call was disconnected by Columbus Camper staff As I have stated in my Resolution request..".I want the trailer fixed with proper communication in a timely fashionI would like a respectful polite manager to call me with a resolution to the problem - I don't want to bring the boat and wait weeks on end to hear nothing but a bunch of excusesThe trailer was purchased at Columbus Camper, the trailer has a warrantyThe warranty needs to be honored and the trailer fixed." I do not mind bringing the trailer for [redacted] to come repair or I can bring the trailer when the part comes in as I was originally told was the process - but communication is key to customer satisfaction and being hung up on is unacceptable Someone at Columbus Camper needs to call me to make arrangements and give me a general idea on the length of time the repair will take *The buyer was not as polite and understanding as they wrote on the Revdex.com complaint [redacted] Regards, [redacted]

We are truly sorry about the factory not helping us and the Consumer better, We have forwarded the Revdex.com complaints to the Factory people woh will make sure in the upcomming week They will do everything possible to help the dealership fix any and all problems with there Product they built , We cannot express our understanding for the Customer being upset with the factory but please understand the Dealership can only do so much in some cases of parts being available

The buyer was never hung up on we would not do that ever , the can bring the trailer in at anytime and we will start the process, I spoke with our service techs and the buyer would not at all leave the trailer so the only thing the company could do is contact *** *** which we did and we need the trailer at the service center for them to repair the trailer correctlywe are building a new service center for our customers right now for on *** ** for our customers with area's to park trailers and boats while waiting for parts, we are always at the mercy of the factory and have to wait for parts from all of our brands we sell***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved
Regards,

We spoke with the buyer and they where very demanding, we need the trailer to stay in our service dept for the *** *** trailer company to come and fix the Brake system, they will not just send the parts out to the dealership because they need more info on the problem first and when the buyer does
not let our service dept keep the product for warranty service it does make it difficult for the Dealership to perform service and get the factory to do anything with out the trailer being in our service dept.
We are moving to a brand new service center with Service bays and storage hangers for customers to be able to park there boats and trailers for service under and out of the weather anytime you expand for the greater good it has its hickups and this might or might not be one of them, but all in all we need to have the trailer left here to do the service work like any other brand we carry
The buyer was not as polite and understanding as they wrote on the Revdex.com complaint***

We as a Dealer have too return any and all proceeds from extended warranty refunds or taxes that where financed in with the product that is financedIf a consumer has a loan and the money borrowed to purchase or pay for items within the loan has a overage the money is due back to the finance
company not the consumer because the amount borrowed is only to be used for what is in the loan and nothing else.
We follow our guide lines based on our Dealer agreament with the banks.
The check for the overage in taxes was sent back to us bank on 10-19-

We have worked since day one for the Consumer, we are at the mercy of any Manufacturer when it comes to these items and parts issues , we do feel for the buyer and we have called the warranty department at least 40 times on behalf of the buyer , here are a couple emails we have sent back and forth...

Hi [redacted],
I spoke with Mr. [redacted] yesterday. Had a
good conversation. I had indicated that our parts department had sent you a card
tag for the tent end to be shipped back to us for repair or replacement. I asked
if he needed the trailer anytime soon or if it was ok to take the bunk end off
and return it to us. The customer has no immediate plans to use the trailer, so
he is good with it being sent back.
Once [redacted] in parts has the tent, I will
monitor it and keep you updated with the
progress.
At your earliest convenience, please have it
boxed up and sent back.Thank you, [redacted]

I have
the top in a box for two weeks but I do not have the return label [redacted] We are working on trying too fix this problem for the consumer but again we are not [redacted] Wildwood,we can only do so much and yes we have asked sometimes for the consumer to call because the factory reacts quicker for the consumer than they do for the dealers itself .

1= When THEY filled out the final paperwork they filled In the
PO Box in [redacted] but put the [redacted], MA city which of course was
incorrect.  I am a realtor and own and manage several vacation rentals in the [redacted].
ANSWER = Buyers signed Bank contract with address given to
dealership with buyers own signatures on contracts, since Mrs [redacted] is
Realtor she should of course caught the incorrect address before signing and
sending the paperwork back.
2= We have recently become Florida residents and are building another
house on OUR property in near [redacted] which is where the camper will be
housed.
ANSWER = Buyers are Florida Residents and should have used the Florida
address and not some PO Box in vermont for Bank Contract and
Registration.
3 = All this was explained to Mr. [redacted] and for him to say that we are
scammers is liable and should be dealt with in the courts.
ANSWER = Buyer was very very pushy about the pick up of the vehicle
before the Bank even had the contract and for Mrs [redacted] being a Realor she
should have known that the contract could not be in a Po Box address in Vermont
and they live in Florida so of course any one would be worried about this being
a scam.
4 =  All this was explained to Mr. [redacted] and for him to say that we are
scammers is liable and should be dealt with in the courts.  We have impeccable
credit and are [redacted] customers.
ANSWER = Buyer's Contract was rejected by [redacted] Lending after
sending the contract to the bank for funding  [redacted] customer
??????.
5 = TEN days later after we had scheduled and rescheduled with my brother
in law to come and pick up the camper Mr. [redacted] said that it wouldn't be
possible because the address had to match our Florida address on our licenses
and that we would now have to start with a new contract.
ANSWER = It was not 10 days at all, the contract was not even at the bank
yet and the buyer asked us to contact one of our Shippers and they where in
contact with them for a day or two, Mrs [redacted] worked out a price with the
shippers but then she caleed back a couple of times and changed things with the
shipper to the point where the shipper was not longer picking up the Camper and
she was getting her Family to Pick up the camper. we are so lucky this never
happened because who knows based on there response back and for now we would
have never got a contract signed .
6 = Mr. [redacted] said that it wouldn't be possible because the address had
to match our Florida address on our licenses and that we would now have to start
with a new contract.
ANSWER = The Bank felt that we should recontract the buyer because the
address the buyers wanted was not where they lived in [redacted]
Florida.
7 = Mr. [redacted] told my husband that that he couldn't have his $3000
deposit back for 10 days because the check and paperwork had been mailed to the
bank and it would be that long before they got it back.
ANSWER = We do not refund any checks of anykind for 10 Business days
after deposit to our Bank Mr [redacted] never told Mr [redacted] that the check went to
the same bank as the cntract, what Mr [redacted] did say was the check went to the
bank the same day the contranct was sent off to [redacted] which is not the
same.
8 = When my husband confronted him with the fact that the CASHIERS check
had been made out to Columbus Camper and would make no sense to have been mailed
to the bank, Mr. [redacted] THEN said that he hadn't said that but rather it was
'his' policy to wait 10 days to be sure checks cleared.
ANSWER = Mr [redacted] call back and started yelling at a Salesperson on the
phone and then Spoke with the Sales MGR and then Mr [redacted] was handed off too
Mr [redacted] where of course made demands and threats of all types which in return
Mr [redacted] told him the same thing as before and Mr [redacted] did not like the
answers he was getting so he go load and vulgar so Mr [redacted] said good by and
hung the phone up.
9 = Mr. [redacted] was on speaker phone and I will quote his words before he
hung up on us  "Now you won't get your money in 10 days, you'll get it when I've
gotten notice from the Consumer Protection office.
ANSWER = When someone makes threats that make no sence and your
answers are normal business practice anywhere answers what else do you
say.
10 + If you go online and google 'reviews' for Columbus Camper you'll
find many such stories as mine and particularly referencing the 'owner' himself,

ANSWER = If anyone with any common sence looked at the google stories
they where put on the web 2 weeks after we opened a store in Opleika Alabama and
after hiring one of other local dealers employee's we where informed that they
had mad the google stories online because we opened our doors 5 miles down the
road from another Camper Dealership and they made these stories up every couple
days about our store, the fact is we are the secound largest Volume dealer in
the south and we sell 4 to 1 what [redacted] does that is why Mr and Mrs
[redacted] was willing to drive 890 miles to save thousands over there loacal
dealer.
ANSWER = So our answer is yes we do have Google commints and they are
from a dealer who was upset we opened a store down the road from his and we
called him out on it.
11 = and then to the 11 complaints filed and the "F" rating given
Columbus Campers  by your Revdex.com, it speaks for itself.
ANSWER = I wish there was a way that our thousands of Buyers who are
happy with COLUMBUS CAMPER CENTER had a way to give us feedback on Revdex.com, but only
a select few who uses the Revdex.com as a way to threaten or bully a business into
doing what they want or as pure retaliation towards the dealer even though there
is no way a dealer or a person could do the same back to the buyer. maybe if the
dealer would go on google and tell the world about the Buyer on social media in
there local area and let every one know there selling experiance with the buyer
then I think things would be a lot more fair in retail its self, you know that I
guess a dealer could do the same as the buyer and place comments about doing
business with the buyer in its home area.
12 = Scammers?  Mr. [redacted]
owes us $3000 which he has now had for over a week and we would ask that he
immediately fed x us OUR money and we had given him our FedX number to do that.
 He refuses to do so.
Thank you for your consideration.  [redacted] [redacted]
ANSWER = Yes we do owe the [redacted]'s $ 3000  Downpayment back because [redacted] would not fund there bank contract because they felt there loan
was not properly secured.

We are truly sorry about the factory not helping us and the Consumer better, We have forwarded the Revdex.com complaints to the Factory people woh will make sure in the upcomming week They will do everything possible to help the dealership fix any and all problems with there Product they built , We cannot express our understanding for the Customer being upset with the factory but please understand the Dealership can only do so much in some cases of parts being available .

he purchased last jan 2015 from our dealership it came from triton that way or the buyer changed it our himself with the last 10 months.
We are very sorry but there is nothing we can do for the buyer except sell him a new Prop for his boat.

The camper has a 100 % active warranty which any Forest River dealer will honor in the united states with over 400 dealers nation wide that the buyer could choose from, the Buyer of this Camper called our dealership and requested that we send her a new lock for here camper, the...

Buyer also told us that the lock looks tampered with and does not work and that we the dealer should drive to Atlanta Ga and replace her door Lock under warranty, explained several times over the phone that the buyer will have  to bring it back to our store in Columbus Ga, the buyer said that she did not want to do this and we should just send her a new lock under warranty, we told the buyer the warranty process does not work that way and that the camper would have to be sent to a warranty center anywhere in the us who sell Forest River products, Buyer is still not happy about our dealership not driving 3 hours one way to install a door lock that she herself might have been tampered with because she had already had some things stolen off the camper,
Long Story short buyer does have a warranty and needs take the camper to a service center if she wants warranty work its that simple, like any warranty product.
