been operating the vehicle at the time of the loss. With regard to the consumer's complaint of us failing to contact her, we had received notice that she was being represented by an attorney. Once a claimant retains an attorney we are no longer able to discuss the claim with them without the permission of their attorney. Our records indicate that we have been actively working this claim since the date of loss. At this time it is noted in our files that the claim has been paid and resolved.

The accident was clearly not my fault if they were to have any common sense. Obviously Commonwealth Insurance just does not want to pay this claim. 
Also, this is the first time the company has taken the time to reach back out to me. I will be voicing my opinion many more places online about this company.

our response.Mr. [redacted] was the claimant for our Claim [redacted]. The accident occurred on July 4th, 2015 and he was contacted by phone and mail on July 7th, 2015, and again on July 10th, 2015. Our insured and claimant had different facts as to the cause of the accident, and after an investigation and review of the police report, wedetermined our insured was not liable for the accident, A letter explaining the result of our investigation has since been mailed to Mr. [redacted].If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Mr. [redacted] policy was surcharged because he failed to provide requested underwriting information. Our policy contract requires anyone that resides in the household to be added or excluded from the policy. Mr. [redacted] refused to sign the exclusion form for His girlfriend, whose card they were...

using to pay the policy. His policy would be returned to the original payment amount once either he adds his girlfriend to the policy or he signs an exclusion form from the policy.As for his refund request, we have been providing coverage for him and as such there is no refund amount to return. His reasoning for obtaining a refund is one that has him acknowledging he fraudulently provided someone else's card information without their permission. At this point Mr. [redacted] has 3 options; 1.Add his girlfriend who resides and has made payments on the policy, as a driver to the policy 2. Sign a Named Driver Exclusion form for his girlfriend, where in the event she was driving vehicles on the policy, there would be no coverage, or 3. Obtain other insurance the date his policy with us cancels on, 2/28/2016.

Have had an auto policy with Commonwealth

Since December of 2014. 5 days ago, my vehicle was damaged in a hit and run. Contacted them afterwards with police report and got a claim number and was assigned a case worker to handle the claim. 5 days later, still have not been contact by the adjustor to begin the process. Think this is very poor customer service especially since I have been without a car since the accident. Will be taking legal actions against the company.

The claim Mr. [redacted] was a part of involved multiple parties which resulted in a policy limits issue. These types claims unfortunately take time to investigate to verify all the injuries and damages. This can be further complicated when Attorneys are involved. 19, 2015, that we can not settle and issue payment to anyone for their property damage until all parties agree to the pro-rated settlement amount and sign a release. On January 4, 2016, we advised that while all parties had agreed on the pro rated settlement amount, no releases have been signed. 
Once all parties agree and sign releases, we will be able to issue payment and resolve Mr. J[redacted] property damage claim.
