Community Builders, Inc. Reviews (41)

Community Builders has sent out one installer to inspect the molding on the Siding. The siding does require cleaning from time to time due to natural causes, (Wind, rain, dirt, weather, etc.) Currently, we have another installer on his way to inspect the leak to assess where it is coming from. We...

will know further details this afternoon. As of now, there is no damage caused by the initial installation according to the information we have thus far.

Tell us why here...We have reviewed the documentation we have in our files for the project and have come to the conclusion that all the documents have been read and signed correctly by the consumer. Specifically, the signed, 3 day right to rescission is also in our documents. We fully stand behind...

our installer who stated that the consumers were present at the residence when came time to measure for the windows. The installer did not jump the fence or come onto the property without permission. Furthermore, the installer had full permission from the homeowner to enter the home to obtain correct measurements from each of the windows that needed replacing. We are more than willing to work with the consumer to install the products as soon as possible.

The work Community Builders did on my house was great. I had gutters, coating, and insulation done. I have already noticed the reduction in my utilities and the water from roof drains perfectly. The workers were professional, prompt, and cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommend!!

To ensure our customers that we are still working on their matters. Our company practice is when an issue is reported is to follow up every two weeks with the customers until issue is resolved. We have record of all communication,...

including voice mail messages left during our follow up procedures. As of today, all issues have been resolved to the consumer's satisfaction.

The company came back out and replaced the entire floor and fixed the shower door. For the most part I am now satisfied with the floor.

According to our records the consumer was in contact with our installer. They went back and forth by text messaging. At one point the consumer said the leak had stopped and not to come out. The consumer did leave a message for...

[redacted], her sales agent; he returned her call and spoke with her the next day. Regarding the tub leak: Upon inspecting the tub, it has been determined that it is a manufacturer problem not an installation issue. Apparently the consumer has been using non-recommended oil-based products. It clearly states in the owner's manual not to use these products. This has clogged a valve which is causing the leak. A new valve has been ordered and will be installed ASAP. This will be at no cost to the consumer although she caused the problem. Also, the consumer needs to be using a system cleaner that cleans all the lines and hoses. This is highly recommended by the manufacturer according the owner's manual. Please disregard and remove this complaint due to it being a consumer and manufacture issue.

On 11/05/14 Community Builders Inc. installed 15 incredibly beautiful windows in my home which had the original windows from 1952. [redacted] and his two assistants showed up around 8:30 a.m. and began work. They were extremely organized, professional, and operated like a well-oiled machine. I have to say I was extremely impressed with both the quality of the windows and the exceptional installation job. In retrospect all my worries went out the door 10 minutes after they arrived. They took care of my furnishings, carpeting, and interior plantation shutters (on all the windows which had to removed and put back on by them). They even brought their own trash cans and put the debris in as they worked. They took very good care of my shrubs, landscaping and even swept off the patio when they were finished. At completion (around 3:30) [redacted] took me to every window to make sure they had missed no small detail. I cannot say enough about this project - quality product - quality installers - quality company. Plus the windows have a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty. I have two other projects and I will be calling them when that time comes. Bottom line: I highly recommend Community Builders Inc. to any and every one and give them a 5 Star rating!

Consumer called our office last week, this being the first time calling with an issue. Sent our customer service rep to her house on Tuesday morning to access the work. Siding and windows were originally installed in 2002. There is a...

Lifetime Manufacturer's warranty on the materials with a five year labor warranty. The issue she has is not a manufacture issue. I spoke to consumer and explained about the warranty and she agreed to pay a service fee for the repairs and scheduled the repair to be done next week.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/07/29) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Community Builders have not called to set up a date and time to come out and fix the siding on my home, I don't know what the problem is I guess they figure it's just a waste of their time.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/08/03) */
CBI did make contact with consumer and scheduled the repair. Repair was completed on Wed 7/29. Consumer paid the service fee as agreed and signed a completion of satisfaction.

I recently purchased windows from Community Builders and had they installed the end of May. I was very pleased with my experience from start to finish. The sales agent was very helpful in educating me on the purchase I was about to make. I had just had new carpet installed and was concerned the installers would mess up my carpet due to all the rain, but they were so neat and clean you couldn't even tell they had come in. I was truly amazed with how professional and friendly they were. Very good company I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have work done on their home.

I scheduled an appointment at the fair. No one called or showed up. I waited a week and called them. They asked if I was married, I was surprised by this. Then said they weren't able to quote without my husband? ? ?? What year is this? 1914 ?!?

Got multiple improvements done to my house. Gutters, Windows and insulation. The workers were professional, on time, cleaned up after themselves and did a great job.

The window job was finished except for the caulking.
As of today the windows are completely finished and the contract is fulfilled.
The window in question is exactly as the contract states.
The consumer verbally requested the bathroom...

glass be obscured, well after the contract was written.
CBI will install the obscure glass at no charge.

Community Builders, Inc. installed siding on my home in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. They did a fantastic job. They showed up every day and if they ever needed off for anything they would ask and show back up right when they said they would. They worked hard, and cleaned up every day before they left. They were so very professional and pleasant to work with. They went above and beyond the siding job and were so helpful and easy to work with. I cannot say enough good things about them. They worked in the cold and the rain and never complained. I would highly recommend them for any siding job or anything else they do. [redacted], Sand Springs, Oklahoma

Community Builders, Inc. Covered up mess! Contract signed in January and job poorly completed August. Substandard material used and trim around windows popping off around windows. I wanted it replaced instead it was covered up very poorly with aluminum. Two no show no call on appointments set. Two windows pulled that should not have been pulled and damage done to siding surrounding windows. Office manager aware of problems and she continued to delay project herself. She also told me that I could not talk to her supervisor and no recourse but to wait for the repairs to be done. I couldn't wait for the last contractor to get off my property and will not recommend Community Builders, Inc. to family or friends. In fact will let everyone I know how poorly I was treated. 13,000 dollar window job was a nightmare. from [redacted]

Community Builders warranty policies are Lifetime on materials and 5 year on labor. Consumer purchased siding in 2008, which was 6 years ago. Our notes show in the past 5 years we went out twice and fixed the problems at no cost. When...

the consumer called on 03/19/14 she was explained the policy of the 5 year labor and was told there would be a service fee. Consumer got very angry and ending up hanging up on our customer service person. CBI was willing to work with the consumer regarding the fee but she hung up and didn't schedule an appointment for the repair. We are still willing to work with her if she is willing to talk to us without getting angry. We also believe the consumer is using the Revdex.com for leverage to get the repair done at no cost.
