The shipping price was based off of Fedex Ground shipping.  Due to the dimensions of this bed, unfortunately, it could not ship out Fedex Ground.  Instead, it must ship Trucking which he was not originally quoted for.  Trucking is a special service which requires the customer to be...

home so the Trucking company can set up an appointment when they will deliver the merchandise.  Because of the dimensions of the box, the customer needs to inspect it and make sure the product has been delivered to them properly.  The customer has not paid the additional amount for the Trucking services yet.  He paid via [redacted] which is a third party payee and we cannot charge additional funds.  He must call Rich, his sales rep to pay the difference for trucking or we can Refund him in full.  Our site does explain in shipping that it is an estimate and if at times, packages are deemed too Large dimensionally to ship out [redacted] or [redacted], we will notify them which has been done.  Rich can be reached at [redacted]  Please let us know if we should refund or provide us with the difference for the Special shipping.  Thank you.

The manufacturer is shipping this directly to the enduser.  They are letting me know the longest it will take is 10days.  Once I get the tracking information, I will forward it to the enduser.

The Refund was issued today via Paypal in the amount of $209.00 since the customer was able to Refuse the package that had already shipped out before he requested cancellation.  I verified that the product was returned and issued the credit.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The seller claims that I did not contact them about the damaged item until after the 30 day warranty had passed; this is incorrect. I spoke with Tom L[redacted] about the broken item on 7/9, which is 17 days after my purchase on 6/23. I simply asked if I could send the item back a few days after the 30 day warranty, when I returned back to the US. I understand that Olympus has a strict 30 policy with returns and the seller is working directly with them  - however, the seller takes absolutely no responsibility in remedying this, just simply repeats the return policy of Olympus, directing me to deal with the company, who offers the option of getting it repaired for a fee. Surely there is something Compsource can do, but they will not budge. I have never had such a terrible customer service response from any company.

Unfortunately, the customer's card was not issued in the United States so the Address Verification could not be completed which means the sale could not complete and the customer's card could not be charged.  If the customer would like me to call the bank to see what the issue is, I would be...

happy to.  I just need the contact information, including phone number and extension and the person's name.  We never charged the sale and will never be paid for the transaction.  We would like to get the products to the customer as soon as possible but we need to be paid for the products first.  Sometimes, the banks hold funds even though the transaction has not been completed but we can call to let them know the issue and they will release them.  Please email me the bank info so I can clear this issue up.  My email is [redacted] or call me 800-413-7361 x [redacted].  Thank you.
