Thank you for reaching out to us as Box Office Tickets appreciates the opportunity to address Ms [redacted] ' concernsBox Office Tickets operates on the secondary market and maintains one of the largest seller networks in the industryOur mission is to connect customers with individual ticket holders and live eventsTo this end, we’re committed to providing the great customer service maintaining a simple, transparent checkout process. In regards to Ms [redacted] ’ issue regarding a different name being on the tickets they received, it should be noted that this is actually a common occurrenceSince listings on our site are owned by trusted sellers, the tickets often ship from these sellers directly to customers, and may display the name of the original purchaserWe ensure that this is not an error, but simply information left over from when the tickets were first issuedAll tickets are guaranteed to be transferable and valid for entry to their respective events. As a secondary marketplace, Box Office Tickets is not directly affiliated with any artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office; rather, we act as an intermediary between fans and ticket holdersAll tickets listed on our site are owned and priced by individual sellers, not Box Office Tickets, based on those sellers' assessments of changing factors such as customer demandThis means the price is not based on the tickets' original price, or face value, and may change at any time Although Ms [redacted] ’ contends that we presented ourselves as directly affiliated with [redacted] , we should note that Box Office Tickets clearly labels itself as an independent company and a secondary marketplace that simply connects sellers of event tickets with customers looking to purchase those ticketsOur policies are provided throughout our site and before checkout is completedWe have been in contact with Ms [redacted] and have addressed her concerns as outlined above and hope she enjoyed her eventWhile our management team is available to handle any additional concerns that Ms [redacted] may have, we consider this matter closed.Regards,Box Office Tickets

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this matterWe appreciate the opportunity to discuss Mr [redacted] concernsMr [redacted] has stated that he believed he was purchasing through the website of the venue, or of the event itselfHowever, it should be noted that our web address and branding are intentionally different from those of any other siteDirectly on our website it states “We are a resale marketplaceThis site is not owned by any venueTicket Prices may exceed face value.” Since customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both partiesThis means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industryMr [redacted] mentioned that his tickets differed in price from their primary-market, or "face," value, it should be noted that this is a common occurrence in our industryBox Office Tickets operates on the secondary market, meaning that all tickets available for purchase on our site are owned and priced by individual ticket sellers, rather than by our companyThese prices are set at the discretion of the individual ticket sellers—not by Box Office Tickets—based on their assessments of various market factors such as customer demandThis information is presented at the top of every ticket listing page on our website, as well as during checkout stating “Prices set by sellers, may be over face-valueBox Office Tickets not owned by any venueAll seats together unless otherwise noted.”On 6/Mr [redacted] viewed tickets for a [redacted] event on 11/The specific tickets Mr [redacted] selected were listed at $eachWhen Mr [redacted] selected his tickets, he navigated to our checkout pageFrom there, he was directed to review the itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total price of $928.55, not $1,as Mr [redacted] stated, in bold textMr [redacted] was required to agree to our terms and conditions—visible in a text box—and presented with the message in bold, “All sales are final.” At this point, Mr [redacted] was also presented with the message “I agree to the sales terms and conditions above,” and a check box that needed to be selected in order to continue with checkoutAs Mr [redacted] mentions, in addition to this current claim, he has also filed a dispute with his credit card company regarding this orderWe have addressed this, and the dispute was ultimately ruled in our favorPrior to receiving any dispute we did offer a resolution to MrMcClure, stepping outside of out Terms and Conditions agreed upon at checkout, however Mr [redacted] declined this offerAs it currently stands, we consider this matter closedRegards, Box Office Tickets

Thank you for your response. Though Ms. [redacted] continues to press forward with this matter, Box Office Tickets maintains that all pertinent order details are shown to customers prior to checkout. As we have previously clarified, the venue did not deem the seats Ms. [redacted] purchased as obstructed view, thus did not print this on the tickets that were provided to our customer by the seller. Since these were not deemed obstructed view, such inaccurate disclosure was not provided. Though Ms. [redacted] has indicated that she spoke to a customer service agent who misrepresented themselves as a manager, this should be noted as inaccurate. Our records indicate that a customer service manager reached out to our customer to provide clarity to her concerns and to offer a resolution to her matter, to which Ms. [redacted] declined. As it presently stands, we consider this matter closed. Ms. [redacted] is encouraged to contact a member of our customer service department if she has any further concerns so that they may be addressed. Regards,Box Office Tickets

I am rejecting this response because: box office ticket needs to understand something it is their responsibility to ensure that the seats that are being sold are advertised accuratelySince this was not the case it is box office tickets responsibility to reach out to the venue and find out why those tickets were not reported with restricted viewIt doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the right path if they should go but since box office tickets doesn't seem to understand what clear and concise management means then perhaps I need to speak with this person's boss period it is very clear that the one who is responding to this complaint is not a higher up manager because a higher up manager automatically would know that the agreement between themselves and the venue is there a green intended to boxofficetickets responsibility to ensure that their venue is advertising tickets as should be sold without any errors whatsoeverThis is a matter of advertising a box office tickets the halfI would have never purchased the tickets if it were obstructed View and box office tickets should have contacted the venue to let them know that the seats that they opened up for sale on their website were obstructed view but we're not reported the same period I do not accept this response and I want a contact number to a real manager not the ridiculous one that I spoke to because I am fully aware of the call center environment and know perfectly well that the person that I spoke to is not an actual manager

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11725443, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
The site and advertising are still misleading.  I hope no one else makes the mistake of purchasing from this organization.

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Box Office Tickets, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address Ms. [redacted]’ concerns. It should be noted that Box Office Tickets is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate...

transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Directly on our site it states, “We are a resale marketplace. This site is not owned by any venue. Ticket Prices may exceed face value.” Though Ms. [redacted] indicated she was not aware she was purchasing from a resale marketplace, this information was reiterated at the top of every ticket listing page, “Prices set by sellers, may be over face-value. Box Office Tickets not owned by any venue. All seats together unless otherwise noted.” Once she selected her tickets for the Perfect Crime event on 8/28, she navigated to the checkout page. She was directed to review her itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed all fees, the price per ticket, and the total of $344.87 price in bold text. Ms. [redacted] was required to agree to our terms and conditions—visible in a text box—and presented with the message in bold “All sales are final.” At this point, Ms. [redacted] was also presented with the message “I agree to the sales terms and conditions listed above,” and a check box that needed to be selected in order to continue with checkout. Our sales policies, including our “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process and displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. In regard to Ms. [redacted]’concerns with the price printed on her tickets, or face value, it should be noted that we operate as a secondary marketplace thatserves as an intermediary between sellers and customers—this means all ticket prices are set by the sellers, not Box Office Tickets. The price is based on the individual sellers’ assessments of a range of factors including customer demand. This fact is explained clearly throughout the purchase process, from a notice on every ticket listing and checkout page. Ms. [redacted] expressed concerns about the name on her tickets. The name on the tickets represents the original purchaser that resold the tickets. This is a common occurrence in the secondary marketplace as tickets are completely transferable and is simply information that is carried over when tickets are resold. Prior to receiving this complaint, we were in contact with Ms. [redacted] and offered a resolution, stepping outside of the agreed upon terms in the interest of customer service. However, this offer was declined. Ms. [redacted] has since filed a dispute with her financial institution. We have addressed this, and the dispute was ultimately ruled in our favor. If Ms. [redacted] has any further questions regarding this dispute, we encourage her to reach out to the financial institution with which it was filed. As Ms. [redacted] placed her order on 8/26 and received her tickets shortly after, prior to her event which has since passed, we consider this matter closed. Regards, Box Office Tickets

tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. In reference to Mr[redacted] concerns pertaining to the face value of his tickets we would like to provide clarification. As we operate on the secondary marketplace, Box-Office Tickets does not own or generate tickets. Rather, tickets listing on our site are priced by individual sellers based on their personal assessments of a range of factors, including customer demand. This fact is explained clearly throughout the purchase process, from a notice on the homepage, every ticket listing page, and prior to checkout which states, “Please Note: We are an independent resale marketplace. I am rejecting this response because:They are con artist. I have made sure to let everyone know not to do business with them. Don't they have a "F" rating already. Why is that? Do what you like. "Do not be deceived for God is not mocked. You reap what you sow Galatians 6:7You charged $74 in fees for a child event! Shame on you. I never used the tickets. So you basically took my money. The ticket was $25 and you charged $74 dollars. How do you sleep at night. Your business will suffer. I hope the federal government shuts you down!!!

Thank you for reaching out to us. Box Office Tickets values our customers and, although this claim seems to be addressed to Mr[redacted] financial institution, we would like to take the time to address his concerns. It should be noted that Box Office Tickets is an online resale marketplace, which...

means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers.Mr. [redacted] has stated that he did not receive the correct tickets; this should be noted as inaccurate. Our site is user-driven meaning all order details is information that is either selected or inputted by the customer. When on our site, Mr. [redacted] selected a listing which specified, “Section: Orch-L Row: AA.” A map emulating the Victory Theatre’s layout was also presented displaying the actual front row of the venue to be A. This map clarified that the rows began in row A and preceded through to row Z then began again at row AA ending in row EE. The tickets Mr. [redacted] received on 1/25/2017 were in this exact location which he selected during checkout. Mr. [redacted] has indicated that he did not receive the ticket until the day of the event which is inaccurate. His tickets were delivered on 1/25/2017 and, as a courtesy, were redelivered the morning of his event. In regards to the price on the ticket, as a resale marketplace Box Office Tickets does not own or generate tickets; the prices listed on our site are done so by professional sellers. They select the price based on a range of factors including customer demand. This fact is stated throughout the checkout process including on the homepage notifying customers, “We are a resale marketplace. This site is not owned by any venue. Ticket Prices may exceed face value.” In regards to the name printed on the ticket, this name reflects the purchaser from the primary market. It is simply information carried over from the primary market and a common occurrence in the secondary market. These tickets are completely transferable and valid for entry.Prior to receiving this claim we received a dispute from Mr[redacted] financial institution. Due to the nature of this dispute we are unable to provide a resolution while the dispute remains open. Should Mr. [redacted] have any concerns regarding the process or outcome of the dispute, we encourage him to contact the institution with which it was filed. As we have fully addressed Mr[redacted] concerns and delivered the exact tickets he selected prior to his event, we consider this matter closed.Regards,Box Office Tickets

This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. With regard to Mr. and Mrs. [redacted]’s statement that their tickets differed in price from the primary-market, or "face value”, it should be noted that this is a common occurrence in our industry. Box Office Tickets operates on the secondary market, meaning that all tickets available for purchase on our site are owned and priced by individual ticket sellers, rather than by our company. These prices are set at the discretion of the individual ticket sellers—not by Box Office Tickets —based on their assessments of various market factors such as customer demand. This information is presented at the top of every ticket listing page on our website, as well as during checkout stating, “Prices set by sellers, may be over face-value. Box Office Tickets not owned by any venue. All seats together unless otherwise noted.” Because listings on our site are owned by trusted sellers, the tickets often ship from these sellers directly to customers, and therefore display the name of the original purchaser. This is standard practice throughout the industry. All tickets are guaranteed to be transferable and valid for entry to their respective events.Additionally, Mr. and Mrs. [redacted]’s mentioned that Box Office Tickets indicated we would refund their credit card, this should be noted as inaccurate per our LiveChat conversation with them. We expressed to Mr. [redacted] in our Live Chat application that we would have a manager reach out to him as a courtesy to address his concerns. We have been in contact with Mr. and Mrs. [redacted], and both parties have found an amicable resolution. As such, we consider this matter resolved. If Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] have any further questions or concerns regarding this order, we encourage them to contact a member of our customer service team.Regards,Box Office Tickets

holders and live events. To this end, we’re committed to providing the great customer service maintaining a simple, transparent checkout process. In regards to Ms. [redacted]’ issue regarding a different name being on the tickets they received, it should be noted that this is actually a common occurrence. Since listings on our site are owned by trusted sellers, the tickets often ship from these sellers directly to customers, and may display the name of the original purchaser. We ensure that this is not an error, but simply information left over from when the tickets were first issued. All tickets are guaranteed to be transferable and valid for entry to their respective events. As a secondary marketplace, Box Office Tickets is not directly affiliated with any artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office; rather, we act as an intermediary between fans and ticket holders. All tickets listed on our site are owned and priced by individual sellers, not Box Office Tickets, based on those sellers' assessments of changing factors such as customer demand. This means the price is not based on the tickets' original price, or face value, and may change at any time.  Although Ms. [redacted]’ contends that we presented ourselves as directly affiliated with [redacted], we should note that Box Office Tickets clearly labels itself as an independent company and a secondary marketplace that simply connects sellers of event tickets with customers looking to purchase those tickets. Our policies are provided throughout our site and before checkout is completed. We have been in contact with Ms. [redacted] and have addressed her concerns as outlined above and hope she enjoyed her event. While our management team is available to handle any additional concerns that Ms. [redacted] may have, we consider this matter closed.Regards,Box Office Tickets

Thank you for your response regarding this matter. Box-Office Tickets works with professional sellers; not customers. Should Mr. [redacted] wish to resell his tickets there are many reputable sites that allow for fans to resell their tickets. As we have addressed all of Mr. [redacted]'s concerns, we consider this matter closed.Regards,Box-Office Tickets
