Michelle never offered any other option as far as a repairShe only refused to do anything because she said its not a warranty issueShe never once discussed repairShe denied warranty coverage even before seeing the crack/holeThe hole does not go all the way through the tubWe had another company come out and we were told this falls under "crack", and that they receive complaints like this often from Luxury bath customers and they end up doing the repair/replacementMichelle is insinuating that we hit the tub with some force in order for this to happen, and that is simply not trueIt is a bath tubWe should be able to stand in itOur thumb should not go through it while cleaning itLuxury bath needs to repair this at their sole expense as the warranty implies

As Mrs*** has stated in her complaint, her husband put a hole in the bath tub linerAs they have had the bath tub liner for almost years, it seems clear that what happened was not due to a defect in the productRather, as she states, he put a hole in itThe warranty is limited and clear as to what is coveredSimply stated, holes are not coveredFurthermore, Mrs*** has posted reviews on both Google and Yelp where she knowing misrepresented the terms of the warranty and wrongfully stated that Luxury Bath has failed to uphold the warrantyUnfortunately, Mr*** must have done something different when cleaning the tub to cause a hole, and it is extremely unlikely that it was his thumb that caused the holeMrs*** has been contacted by our attorney regarding this matterWhen it was made clear that her admission that it was a hole would be a barrier to warranty coverage, she stated that she would change it to a “crack” in her reviews so that she could then claim that Luxury Bath was not upholding the warrantyThus the changed language in her response to Revdex.com the problem being now a “crack/hole” and the inclusion of an unnamed company who allegedly said it was a “crack” and that the unnamed company receives complaints “…often from Luxury bath customers and they end up doing repair/replacement.” While I went to the Sedilek’s home the same day they called me about the problem, I was not afforded any time whatsoever to see if a repair or replacement was even possible before the review was posted on Google and then on YelpWhile we would have tried to find some way to assist the Sadileks, we see no point in that now and look forward to the opportunity to arbitrate this issue with Revdex.com to clear our good name and reputation

In response to Mrs***’s complaint I would like the opportunity to recap this situation to provide a clear understanding, thank you for the opportunity to do soMr*** phoned the Luxury Bath office Wednesday, October 26, regarding an issue with the tub liner that was installed in
the first quarter of Approximately hours later I personally returned Mr***’s phone call and scheduled a service appointment for Friday, October 28, to visit his home and address the concernDuring this initial phone call I did explain the system was installed in February of As with most products there is required service to maintain the warranty, similar to an oil change for your carI was able to confirm in almost years of the system being installed there was not even one service performedLater that afternoon on the 26th, I called Mr***, again, asking if it would be more convenient if I stopped by that evening, the same day he phoned communicating the concernDuring my visit the required maintenance was discussed as well as the fact that the manufacturer, “Luxury Bath corporate” had recently been sold. I communicated that I was not sure if the company that purchased Luxury Bath, BCI, would have available the same molds for the liners or materials but would look into this as well as any possible resolution and get back with him. After leaving the ***’s residence I immediately phoned the manufacturer to discuss this situation. Mrs*** has stated in her plethora of reviews that Luxury Bath had no intentions of honoring the warranty or discussing a solution. This is absolutely untrue and why an in-home visit was made despite the required maintenance not being completed. During the visit on October 26, it was determined that a hole was made in the liner. The Customer Agreement outlines the warranty for the bath tub liner installed is limited to the following "chipping, cracking, discoloration, and peeling"The "hole" in the liner does not fall in the aforementioned and is clearly far above wear and tear and a result of undue pressure in the radius areaAlthough the hole does not fall under the warranty pertaining to chipping, cracking, discoloration, or peeling there are options to either replace or repairUnfortunately since we were only made aware of this problem on October 26th, the day before Mrs***’s first review was left, and the same day we visited their residence and spoke to the manufacturer, we have not had an opportunity to discuss any options for repairing, despite the out of warranty situationLuxury Bath takes great pride in our products and service, making every effort possible to ensure each of our customers' complete satisfactionThis applies to all concerns, those that are covered under the warranty outlined and those that are not. For issues that are not covered under the warranty outlined, as is the case with the hole in the ***’s liner, it is always our sincere goal to provide a solution that can be completed for the least amount of cost. The hundreds of positive reviews we have is a testament to thatAdditionally, it is always our top priority to take care of existing customers prior to taking on new onesThis applies to maintenance as well as warranty service

The complaint and issue that I had with Luxury Bath has been resolved as of 7/8/2015.  Thank you and Revdex.com for your time and your help regarding this matter.

Mrs. [redacted] did contact the
Luxury Bath office and requested a service call to replace the silicone in her
Luxury Bath System installed in the spring of 2004.  Mrs. [redacted] also communicated that she was
having a problem with her Delta plumbing fixture.  The service was scheduled for...

May 29 and we
suggested that Mrs. [redacted] contact the local Delta office and request a new
cartridge for her valve as the warranty
for the plumbing fixture is through Delta, not Luxury Bath.  Although service on the plumbing fixture can
be completed by any company, based on the warranty through Delta covering parts
not service, it is common for Luxury Bath to make repairs and do so at a
fraction of the cost for all existing customers.  Luxury Bath values each of our customers and
makes every effort to accommodate all our existing customers, even if it is not
a Luxury Bath warranty issue.  On May 29,
2015 a representative did visit Mrs. [redacted] home and completed the service of
replacing the silicone and spent a lengthily amount of time attempting to
remove the existing cartridge.   Unfortunately we were not able to remove the cartridge.  The installer did explain the situation to
Mrs. [redacted] and advised her of what would need to be done to replace the
valve.  Mrs. [redacted] phoned the Luxury Bath
office while the installer was at her home at which time I personally
reiterated what the installer had explained to her.  A short time later Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] visited
the Luxury Bath showroom at which time we, again, discussed the issue with the
valve and the need for it to be replaced.
Mrs. [redacted] outlined the warranty for the acrylic; however the existing
concern is not the acrylic but the plumbing fixture.  We would be more than happy to schedule a time to perform the service needed to replace the valve at an agreed upon cost or provide
contact information for a plumber to complete this service.  There is a remaining balance outstanding for the
silicone that was replaced but none for the time spent in attempting to replace
the cartridge as this has been waived.

I appreciate your response. As far as missing work and inability to afford council, I was referring to her suing me if I continue any sort of action against her. Her attorney states that she will sue me for $150,000.00 for defamation of character. I believe anyone should be able to write an honest review without being sued. I removed part of my review because of this reason and this reason only, not because I lied. Her attorney said she would be willing to work with us if I removed certain parts of my review, but she isn't willing to help at all. This has to be the reason she has no bad reviews. She threatens them all. This is also how she gets away with not honoring the warranties. Great way to make money on her part. I feel like I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. I can only hope that at least the Revdex.com will not continue to give her an A rating. I wish there was a way to find out how many bad reviewers were threatened with lawsuits and then deleted their reviews.
