yes typi mecanicl did contact me and fixed the job today [redacted] did respond to me a week ago but when I responded to her I never got I responce with I do still have those emails I did asked for [redacted] to gave a time and date to when the jobs where going to be done so both time I contacted you guys I try going to [redacted] with just an auto response saying next time contact the property managerBoth times I had to wait for days to get a job done and that is the only reason is did contacted the Revdex.comAlso before I did get the violation [redacted] contacted me to do the job threw voice mail that I still have This company trys to put the problem on there client instead of addmiting that they caused the problem fixing the job in a timely manor Once I again I would not be contacting the Revdex.com if the condo management would complete a job within a timely manor or respond to emailsWhy would u want to waste the time of the Revdex.com when the problem could be fixed before daysThis leak could have cause a lot of damage to my property and the tenant below meAlso the glycol that was inside the pipes was low so that could gave triped the fire alarm and called the fire trucks

I've tried to contact Condo Management of Columbus several times using phone and emailAny maintenance issues for Hidden Lake Condominiums are supposed to be through Condo Management I have not been able to get a response from themIt's been several weeks

[redacted] Mechanical will be re-contacted to get in touch with youOur communications records show documentation that you have received a return call or email from your Property Manager, [redacted] every time you have made contactYou have also received replies to your complaints and derogatory comments since you received a violation letter

This was not an internal vent that the birds were occupying The individual that removed the birds from the outer rim took pictures and attempted to talk with [redacted] *** [redacted] rejected his phone call and refused to talk with him Again, I have proof of this !! Where is my response to the siding not being repaired by the end of Oct This has not been addressed by [redacted] *** I would enjoy talking with the press about condo management companies that cannot do the job to take care of owners property as they should I suppose my next step is to take this problem to the Attorney General's Office and have them look into it I will fax them proof of these problems Again, [redacted] is responsible for payment to me of the outer rim vent and an explanation of removing birds from neighbors and telling me that none were in my outer rim of an air vent

If this is indeed the case then Mr [redacted] should explain why my neighbors vents were cleaned of the birds by Condo Mgmt of Columbus I will be happy to give the correspondence to the Revdex.com where he clearly stated that no birds were in any of my exterior vents and directed me to contact a vent cleaning company I know of no law that makes his claim Why hasn't he addressed the other issue He certainly dodges his job and responsibility not to mention the truth

As a result of either heavy rain, an association's gutters may overflow, causing water in a basementA common question arises as to the responsibility of the association A Condominium association is not responsible for interior damage caused by an accident or act of natureSince the association did not cause the heavy rain, it is not responsible for the interior unit damageThe association is responsible for maintaining the gutters while the owner is responsible for interior carpet, and personal propertyThe owner's insurance may cover any damage over his/her deductible

Stay clear of CMOC...the owner/company is unethical, unprofessional, violates conflict of interest rules. Annonymous(but known to CMOC) negative reviews, based on substantiated facts, written about "CMOC" were shown to our condo complex board members, revealing the identity of the reviewers. This in turn caused delayed maintenance requests or denials from "board members" who have been friends with the owner for decades. In addition, harrassment ensued...the "board member president" sent a facebook message to a reviewer. The message was filled with "foul language/cuss words." John C***, the owner "eggs people on/incites hostility." Do not hire CMOC! I will be reporting this to the Ohio Division of Real Estate, the Ohio Ethics Commission, the Ohio Attorney General's office, and the Columbus Police Department(if the harrassment does not stop.) In addition, a "neutral third party" really should be handling the election/ballots at our condo complex. It is in CMOC's best interest to have "their friends" who they have known for decades on the "board",,,so their contract can get renewed. This is definitely a Conflict of Interest. Dozens of residents have experienced "unresponsiveness, no returned phone calls or emails, untimely maintenance, lack of information" from CMOC. For example, why have an emergency number...when no one answers your emergency call. The property management agreement is a contract between "CMOC" & the Condo Association." The "Condo Association" is comprised of all "condo owners" not just long term residents who feel like they "own the place." All reviews on BBB should have remained anonymous to "board members" so they can "remain neutral" & "not biased" when approving maintenance requests....this requires further investigation. "Conflict of Interests" should be avoided. Jim C***, the owner of "CMOC" was the onsite manager at our condo complex...he later moved on to start his own company. Some of our condo board members have been friends with him for decades...did they give him the "contract" or were other bids from reputable property management companies solicited? Awarding someone a "contract" because you're "friends with them" without soliciting other bids violates Conflict of Interest rules. Is there proof that other property management companies were reviewed as well? Why does our condo board continue to use CMOC knowing there is a large number of negative reviews about "CMOC." Residents have stated, "CMOC" did not return phone calls or respond to emails regarding maintenance requests or issues/concerns that were brought up. In addition, the high turnover of staff shows disorganization...Angela, Leah, now Derek. "CMOC" owes a fiduciary duty to the "Condo Association" aka all "condo owners" not just the "board" who hires them. CMOC/the owner, Jim C***. should focus on "improving their business" & "owning up to past mistakes" instead of writing "novel size responses" blaming condo owners/residents & sucking up to "board members" so he/CMOC can get "paid." I guess "blaming & shaming" is their "game." Thank you CMOC/Jim C***...we have learned a lot about the "politics/corruption" at our condo complex. Hoping things get better & we can all move foward in peace/harmony.

* We do acknowledge the owner of the Condominium Unit's concerns. * The fact is, maintenance of vents inside the Unit are the responsibility of the Owner of the Unit. * The actions we can take as the Company hired by the Board to manage the day-to-day incidents is to set up a meeting for the Owner to appeal to the Board, which was done. The action we can not take is to reimburse the owner for expenses that are her responsibility and not the responsibility of the Condo Association.

DO NOT hire Condo Management of Columbus! The staff is unresponsive, rude, arrogantThis is the worst condo mangement company in ColumbusI am a year resident of Hidden Lake Condos.I pay my condo fees(almost $300/mth) on timeI contacted the emergency number a few months ago...no response.I requested the walkway lightbulb to be replaced years ago...no responseIn addition, the below requests have been ignored#online access to member/resident website
#water leaks
#updating my phone number at the gate call box
#the condo master insurance policy for my Home Equity Loan
#form to change account where condo fees are taken out
I have left several voicemails in the last monthTo date, no one has respondedWhy is this company still in business?
I'm not sure why the Hidden Lake Board continues to use them...perhaps a friend or relative is giving them a kickbackHidden Lake Boards members...hire a responsive & courteous condo management company!

** Mechanical was re-contacted and they responded and solved the problem. We agree that the vendor should have responded in a more timely mannerWe are the middle-man and must rely on the vendors that your Association chooses to use to provide servicesOur communications records show documentation that you have received a return call or email from your Property Manager every time you have made contactYou have also received replies to your complaints and derogatory comments since you received a violation letter. Communication is a two-way street and your side of the street was not communicating in a respectful manner which hindered our efforts to help you

On this fourth attempt to respond to this complaint, we are having difficulty in understanding what the complaint actually isIt has gone from the request for reimbursement for maintenance that is the responsibility of the Unit owner to now discussion of siding and an "outer rim vent"
Again, the Board of Directors has held hearings on this matter and rejected the request for reimbursementNo other owners were reimbursed for vent cleaningOhio law prevents the Association from paying for the cleaning of this complainers ventThis Company has arranged for the hearings with the Board and there is nothing else this Company can do to make this complainer happy

Thank you for the opportunity to demonstrate that Condo Management of Columbus strives very hard to help Condo Boards stay within the lawCondo owners often misunderstand the responsibility for maintenance of their Units versus Association responsibilityIt is unfortunate when a Unit owner tries to make their unhappiness a personal issue and make accusations of dishonestyCondo Management assisted this condo owner in being able to present their misunderstanding directly, in person to the entire condo boardThere is nothing more that can be done
Unit owners are responsible for cleaning out the vents in their own UnitsInternal vent cleaning has not been done at any Condo at the expense of the AssociationThis would be a violation of the Ohio Condo Law and would be a misuse of Association funds for maintenance that is the responsibility of The Unit Owner

I believe I have been seriously overcharged for paperwork processing as the company calls itI am uncertain as to exact paperwork because it was not provided to me even though I paid for it They company will not provide the required paperwork in order for the property to be sold unless you pay whatever they ask forIn this case it was over $I think this may be a scam of some kind

I've worked as a Board Director with CMOC for over years and have experience with other property management companies spanning over almost years Property management is a difficult business, especially in an aged, poorly built and maintained over the decades, and very large community such as ours I wouldn't wish the job on my worst enemy That said, CMOC has been the best manager I've dealt with They are knowledgeable and professional and have been instrumental in improving our community financially and structurally through their use of "best practices" and their alliances with experts in the legal, insurance, engineering and other fields to ensure the Board follows our Declaration and Bylaws as well as City, State and Federal laws applicable to Condominiums They are leaders in the industry For a reviewer to come right out and state suspicions that CMOC (or any company, for that matter) is involved in "kickbacks" with Board members is the height of ignorance, rudeness and ingratitude I'm surprised Revdex.com allows such slander Most members of the Board spend an incredible amount of unpaid time partnering with our Manager to make things run as smoothly as possible for residents Yet we are reluctant to so much as order a pizza when our meetings run late into the evening, for fear of comments such as this Boy, wouldn't I LOVE to have a pizza now and then when my stomach's growling going into the 4th meeting hour

We must reject the Condo Owner's response because to clean an element that is the responsibility of the Unit owner would be a violation of the Ohio Condo Law and would be a misuse of Association funds for maintenanceInternal vent cleaning has not been done at any Condo at the expense of the AssociationThe facts as the complainer see them are incorrect and accusations of dishonesty do not help resolve the issue

*** *** led the condo board to believe that this vent was occupied by the birds inside of my condo. He did remove birds from the dryer vent at a neighbor across the street from me. He, in one of his responses, kept referring to "a dryer vent" which I asked to have cleaned while *** with *** was at my condo. I paid out of pocket for this vent to be cleanedThe birds were not in a dryer vent It appears Mr*** doesn't read very well as my initial complaint was also that of the damaged siding he was to have repaired by the end of Oct-- per his e-mail to me. At this point I will no longer respond to *** ***'s weak answers and will expect him to reimburse me the cost (which he created) for bird removal in the amount of $75.20. He and as owner of his company do not perform in an ethical manner Should this not happen I will pursue the situation after the Holiday season and I have returned from being away

I've tried to contact Condo Management of Columbus several times using phone and emailAny maintenance issues for Hidden Lake Condominiums are supposed to be through Condo Management
I have not been able to get a response from themIt's been several weeks

*** *** took care of the neighbors vents in removing birds through his company and has made it a point not to accept the fact that he lied in stating to me that nothing was in the ventI have this in an e-mail directly from him. He has done everything possible to deflect his being responsible. I am stating that I want the reimbursement from him. Why was there no response to the siding that was to be repaired by the end of Oct2014?

Thank you for allowing us to try to explain the reasons for the price you were charged
The cost of providing the product has been explainedThe complainant refuses to see the value of the product that was purchasedNothing more can be done
