Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The Connecticut Dating is misrepresenting the actual facts as they did when I called to notify them of the lack of service The first match was so inappropriate that I went directly to the office in Stamford, CT to notify them that there were many crucial and important factors that were not as represented They told me "Things change." But they agreed that the first attempt would not be counted and they would add another match on the end of the eight promised The first one was not just not a match, it was repulsive I shared this with them to let them know as to not send out another of this person without updating The match that they are stating that I rejected, is not true The match was over and hour and a half away and he never responded according to [redacted] the person that I dealt with We discussed it and she said well it really was too far so it is just as well that he did not respond The next match declined to meet me, I was later told it was about race He had identified the two races that he wanted to meet but they tried to mach me which was not one of his selections I finally decided they could not deliver and weren't truthful and spoke with another person, who said she would notify me on 9/27/as to the status whether or not there was a match I never heard anything as has been their custom When I call them, they always stated "Oh I was just going to call you." Never heard a word on 9/27/or thereafter I am just asking for them to be professional and do the right thing I have not received a matchup and they agreed the first one was so bad that it should not be counted and now they have the [redacted] to say they presented a match on 6/9/ I can send you a copy of the email that I sent to them as followup letting them know how inappropriate it was Yes, they said it will take time and I have been patient They told me - weeks Not one but several people repeated this as the guideline We are certainly way beyond weeks Sincerely, [redacted]

CT Dating is a scam that manipulates on emotional vulnerabilities. I went in looking for a company called speed dating and found the wrong door.
Invited in, very friendly but stark atmosphere, after a 2 to 3 hour interview, they wanted something like $2000 upfront to arrange referrals of five men over a year. To take me out and find my perfect match. I expressed several times that I could not afford $2000, nor the amount that they want to do negotiate and essentially twisted my arm I was exhausted going back-and-forth to the manager like a used car dealer. I expressed over and over that I just lost my house I had to go bankrupt I still pay my lawyer I still pay the [redacted] I am an under employed person so this $1000 is supposed to be a great deal. (?) Well kinda exhausted by the whole afternoon, I signed on the dotted line just to get out of there with the hope that I would meet my hero. I received my first referral in about a week named Sean. Sean never called. I called to see what happened..., to see what else we can do about that and they promised that they would send me other referrals. Never heard back nothing nothing nothing nothing nothing. So then I called to cancel I said I can't do this anymore this is ridiculous I'm not getting the service that you promised me... I'm done. If I could do it all over again I would never have driven to Stanford. Which by the way they said they had an office in Danbury but they don't. At any rate here it is several years later and they're still harassing me, [redacted] is their collection agency of choice and they've called many times and I told him the same story. I have had other phone calls here and they are from Connecticut dating themselves wanting to service me again and I just have no interest at all. Since that one and only encounter I've been on hundreds of dates through free sites or inexpensive sites such as [redacted] and plenty of fish so I see no need to even be associated with Connecticut dating ever and I would never recommend it to anybody else. Btw, Sean could have been made up AND I am a born again Christian in search of the same. I expressly told them that and I said I don't want anything else but a born-again Christian and they were like oh don't be so narrowminded. I said no I know what I want. The chances of you finding me another born-again Christian is going to be very challenging. If Sean had been 'real' then it would have had a whole other perspective. Sorry. I'm broke. Cannot settle with CT Dating as 'they still want to "help" me'.
