problem. I consider this dispute closed. Thank you for your assistance. [redacted]

Review: Last year I accepted a promotional offer from the Connecticut Post to receive the newspaper for a specified time period at a significantly reduced rate.At the end of the promotional period, they continues to deliver the paper.I did try to phone them but there is a significant wait time and seemingly impossible to speak with a customer service rep.I recently received a notice from a collection agency and another seperate bill from Ct Post.Today after three attempts, I did reach a customer service rep named [redacted]. I explained that I did not authorize additional service other than what I agreed to with the promotional offer. When she told me it was my responsibility to cancel (a service I did not order or agree to), I asked to speak to a manager. She put me on hold, then after another wait, asked for my phone number and said she will have someone call me.My concern it that the Ct. Post offers these promotions and then intentionally continues delvery of the newspaper, expecting payment. This is a poor business practice.

Desired Settlement: I would like the Ct.Post to clear up this billing concern.Thank you,[redacted]

Review: I have contacted the Connecticut Post on two occasions to ask them to stop tossing grocery flyers in my driveway. They are littering private property. I have not asked for these flyers and they are a nuisance.Desired Settlement: I want them to stop tossing flyers onto my driveway now and forever.

Review: In January,My wife called and canceled our subscription to the CT Post. At the time of the call they stated that they would stop billing our card immediately. Since then, our bank card has continually been charged. I called last month and was told that they were going to rectify the situation immediately and reimburse us for the money that had been taken. This month my wife called this morning and she was told that they were going to pass on the information to a district manager to find out what they can do, because we were charged again. We have not received any refund and we are continually being charged for a paper that we have not received since January.Desired Settlement: We would like to be refunded the $64.80 and have them stop charging us immediately.

Review: I have been due a refund of $32.52 since May, 2015. I was told on July 13 that the check should be mailed on 7/17. I was told on 8/10 that the check was processed on 8/6, I was told on 8/18 that the check was being manually processed. I was told on 9/9 that the check was sent on June 8. I never received a check. I was further told on 9/9 that it would forwarded to a Manager for research. I was told on 9/29 that the Manager researched it and I should have the check by 10/9. I still hadn't received it by 10/9.

There has never been a question that I am due the money - Just all sorts of stories and excuses. Now on 10/19 I still don't have my refund after 14 phone calls about it. I have the names and dates of the phone calls if needed.Desired Settlement: Send my refund Immediately

Review: I made a payment to Connecticut Post using their online service, on January 3, 2015 and the charge of $31.20 went through twice. They took a total of 62.40 from my bank account. I contacted them on January 5, 2015 and asked them to refund the duplicate payment. I was told they would push it through and should have it in 7-10 days. I've called back 7 times, still no refund and no one has done anything to help me. I feel like I'm getting the brush off. It's been 6 weeks and still nothing from them. I called and spoke with a woman this morning [redacted], and she said it looks as if this hasn't been forwarded and she was going to do so. It's been 6 weeks, I don't think they have any intention of giving me back the $31.20. I feel the company is keeping money they're not entitled to, there was an error with their payment system and they're leading me on about my refund.Desired Settlement: I would like my $31.20 refunded. I'm not asking for more than that but it's been more than 7-10 days.

Review: Connecticut Post insists on delivering papers to me. They have been called several times. The carrier leaves them in rain and in snow in winter. They call every night after 10:00 pm and wake me up. I am a senior citizen and go to bed early. I cancelled the paper numerous times. And they are billing me for delivery. The papers were unreadable as they are just thrown anywhere. I don't feel that I should pay for the paper as I cancelled it several months ago . Please tell me what I can do to stop this harassment. Thank you [redacted]

Review: I am so frustrated with these people. I have called them so many times and every time I am told that the paper will get delivered but it never once has been delivered. First they had someone else under my phone number. Its ###-###-####. That is my number, no one elses. Not sure if they have that fixed yet. Regardless I have no received 1 delivery yet. Not sure when that is going to happen.Desired Settlement: I need my paper delivered. And please dont send me any bills until I receive my paper. I have not received any bills yet anyways. It was supposed to be thursday and sunday delivery for $1 per week. I still have the coupon that I used. The phone number that I had called was ###-###-####. Promo code was NOTE. Thank you,[redacted]

Review: I got a year prescription with CT Post to get the paper for Thursday, Saturday and Sunday for 53.00. When I called today to get the paper for another year they said I owed 37.00 because my year was up in August and they were still delivering the paper up until last week. They said I got a bill or a renewal forms in the mail I never received any forms or a bill from CT Post. I paid for the year up front. When I called today they wanted more money from me for the paper they kept on delivering to me. I asked to speak to a supervisor she put me on hold and then came back and said she was busy that they will call me back. J[redacted] called 2 hours later and I explain what was going on and she told me I had to call and cancel the paper if I didn't want it but I explain to her that I didn't know my paper was up that I should of gotten a letter so I can re sign up for the paper.Desired Settlement: I would like it straighten out so I can get the paper again.

Review: The Connecticut post debited my checking account without authorization. I called customer service on 12-10-2013 to get a refund. I called several times since and to date have not gotten the refund of $52.00 that was promised.Desired Settlement: either a check that I can pick up or a credit to my checking account

Review: I purchased a 1 month subscription at a local supermarket to their Thursday and Sunday editions. I paid $10 in cash for the 1 month subscription.

I found their paper not useful and did not renew my subscription. They sent me a renewal letter that I did not returned as I did not want to continue the subscription.

They called me over the phone and I told them I did not want to renew the subscription.

They continue to send the paper without my authorization. The paper went right in the recycling bin and I had not use for it.

They later called me trying to collect for a service I did not request and had no use for. I informed them of this and they stopped calling.

This week I received a letter from a collection agency that they hired to attempt to collect.

I refuse to pay for a product I did not want and want them to spot using deceptive sale practices.

ThanksDesired Settlement: Stop bothering me with your phone calls and tell the collection agency to erase my name from their records

Review: On 3/18/15 I was called by [redacted] from the Connecticut Post. She offered me a new rate for 7 day delivery for 6 months. I agreed but under the condition I was billed Monthly rather than 6 months at a time or on auto pay as I have had issues with their auto pay before. She told me that would not be a problem. At that time I paid my current bill of $75.05 which brought me paid up to that day and also paid one month at $17. I agreed to run my credit card for $92.05 on 3/18/15 and [redacted] told me I would be paid up to 4/24/15. And I again asked if I would be billed $17/month for the remaining 5 months of the offer and she again said yes.

Opening my next credit card statement I saw the $92.05 charge and another charge for $110.50! On 4/22 I called the Connecticut Post [redacted] quickly transferred to [redacted] a "level 2" who told me that charge was for the 6 months I agreed to and would go to 9/19. Two problems 1. I did not okay the charge 2. $110.50 is 6.5 months @ $17. So I have now paid 7.5 months plus my past dues but would only receive 6 months of the paper. After a lengthy back and forth I was promised the problem was being escalated and I would receive a prompt call back. Thankfully I was able to get that charge reversed by my credit card company and I consider that part resolved.

The last bill I received dated 6/1/15 with my period start and stop dates both being 3/22/15 with past due of $42.70. When I call no one can explain why the start and stop dates are wrong and how the past due amount was arrived at.

My final call was yesterday to [redacted]. I explained what I had agreed to and paid for on 3/18. I did the math from the end of the first month 4/24 to the last paper delivered 6/20. 8 weeks or 2 months @ $17/month equals $34 and that is what I wish to pay to resolve the account and be done with this continually fraudulent company. Of course, [redacted] could not help me and could only tell me what sat on the computer in front of him . He could not explain the past due amount. He said he could not see any price agreement (even though it is printed on my bills). And he could not see any agreement that the $75.05 I paid on 3/18 cleared up past dues and started clean from that date. He gave me the [redacted]e speech that the problem would be escalated and I would receive a call back. I still have not received a call back from the extra charge problem escalation in April so I will not hold my breath.Desired Settlement: I am tired of the never ending battle with this company. I want to pay the 8 weeks or $34 I owe and be done with the Connecticut Post. I do not want a credit, a lower rate or a new subscription. I want in writing that I owe $34. I will authorize a one time charge for that amount and I want in writing the account is closed.

Review: On 5 occasions over the last six months I have asked the CT Post to stop delivering their savings source paper to my driveway. Every time they say it will stop. It hasn't. I am particularly concerned about the papers piling up in my driveway when I am away.is there any way to stop the deliveries?Desired Settlement: stop deliveries

Review: I have received numerous calls from the Connecticut Post in regards to a newspaper account. I have sent in several letters to the Post in their [redacted] office disputing these claims as inaccurate. I have never opened an account with a newspaper, nor do I live at [redacted]. It appears that someone has attempted to purchase a subscription in my name. I've explained this to numerous customer service reps that have tried to contact me at the Post, and they've assured me that this would be resolved. Now I am receiving calls from a collection agency??I've contacted the [redacted] via email(in charge of their "collection accounts")asking them to provide me with an agreement that shows I've subscribed to a newspaper/print magazine to review. I feel like I am being targeted because I wouldn't subscribe when they solicit via phone over the last several years. Refernce #[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like written confirmation that this is resolved and I will not receive any collection calls. Although it is only a $15 dispute, it is the principle of business practices at hand, and the risk of my credit rating because of something very trivial.

Review: I received Subscription Renewal - First Notice dated 1/26/15 asking for me to renew my subscription. To the best of my knowledge I had no subscription. Prior to this I had received a letter asking for payment for a special Holiday Edition. As I had never received any edition of the [redacted], I had ignored this letter, thinking it was a mistake. When I got the Renewal Notice I called to find out what was going on, as I had no subscription. They told me I did have a subscription and that I had been paying for it by credit card. I then went and looked at my statements for 2014 and found that a total of $137.15 had been withdrawn from my account (1/14/14, 4/8/14, 7/8/14 and 10/7/14). I had not seen these as I do not scrutinize my statements from this particular account. I spoke with a customer service agent on 2/19/15, who indicated I would receive a refund check in the mail within 7-10 business days. Having not received anything, I called again on 4/20/15 and was told the same thing. I was also told that all they could do was notify Accounting. That they could ask them to call me but it was very doubtful that they would. On 5/4/15 I spoke with [redacted], a manager, who indicated that he would notify accounting to make sure the check was issued. I asked that accounting please call me one way or the other. I also had him check to be sure that the [redacted] had my correct address. They did. A couple weeks later, I had 2 messages on my phone from [redacted] asking me to call about my refund. I finally reached a supervisor ([redacted]) there today. She left me on hold, dropped the line and I called back. She mentioned a $7 refund and then indicated she had no information concerning the issue I described. She could not give me anyone above her as there was no one above her. I had reached the [redacted] Office. She indicated that she would look into this and call back. That was several hours ago. Meanwhile I called Customer Service at the [redacted] again. I spoke with [redacted] who was very helpful, but could see nothing noted on my account. He went back to May 4 and found a note from [redacted]. He told me to call the same phone number in [redacted]; then suggested I call the Main Switchboard to see if they could give me a different number to call. No one was at the switchboard. I received NO paper from the [redacted] yet I was charged $137.15. It seems that the [redacted] office is disputing this.Desired Settlement: Full refund of $137.15.
