I live in a loft building that recently experienced significant power outages [redacted] shared the name of the power company responsible for installing the power to this building, and I called them for assistanceAlthough their office was closed, I was able to leave a message with their on call answering serviceWithin minutes a representative returned my call and assured me someone was on the wayWithin approximately minutes technicians where here working on the problemI attempted to contact my loft company [redacted] and no one respondedI was very impressed with Davis and Green's customer service and fast actionThe technicians that arrived were extremely friendly and diligent! On one of the coldest and most snow-laden days of the year Mr [redacted] of Davis and Green Electricians came to a 93-year old man's rescue Mr [redacted] of Grove Avenue in the Fan lives by himself in the house he was raised in Mr [redacted] has no family and lives by himself with his dog On Feb.17th in freezing weather with 8" of snow on the ground Mr [redacted] lost his electrical current He called me, his neighbor, to come help and I immediately went to his home and found an old fuse box which was located outside in a protected area After failing to replace the fuses, I contacted Davis and Green Mr [redacted] was on call and responded immediately to Mr [redacted] plight He came in, was very respectful to Mr [redacted] and accessed the situation He had to go back out and purchase the fuses and then returned to remedy the problem He did all of this in freezing weather, with snow all over the roads, and no parking spaces in the neighborhood He was pleasant and helpful and even petted Mr [redacted] dog Thank you, Mr [redacted] You were a life-saver
Davis and Green came to my house to fix a ceiling light issue G.Scott Moreland was the representative that came and he was very courteous and helpful He was able to explain the problem to me and fix it in a quick and efficient manner I would use them again
Recently, I called Davis & Green with a problem I thought was probably not going to be fixedMy pantry ceiling light had failed, leaving me fumbling in the darkThinking I could easily change out the entire light for a new one, I searched all the big box stores in vainIn the last years, similar fixtures have become round and much smaller than what I haveFrom just my description of the fixture over the phone, [redacted] diagnosed the problem, picked up parts on their way to my home, and left the original fixture working again--better than new, actuallyWhat service!

Eric Mcame out to provide a service checkup on my whole house generator He arrived on time and worked very thoroughly and quickly He even took the time to explain some very important information I should know about the generator that the original contractor did not provideTheir fee was competitive I would definitely recommend Davis & Green and will be calling them in the near future to do some other electrical work for me
On time, professional, made sure work area was covered as not to damage anything Ron M& Jeff GWe're the technicians, they installed a ceiling fan in a vaulted ceiling, the shaft did not have he right slant, went to [redacted] bought the right piece and spray painted to make it work and touched up the ceiling with paint We would highly recommend them [redacted]
We had the furnace go out with several outletsScott and Chris opened j-boxes and light fixtures to determine extentInstalled Back feed from panel board and everything including the furnace started up perfectlyDid this with dispatch and confidenceThank you

I cannot say enough wonderful, positive things about this company They went above and beyond anything we ever expected In this day, for a company to show compassion and caring for people in distress, instead of the almighty dollar, is just too amazing for words The men that came on CHRISTMAS EVE, and solved our very scary electrical emergency, were a God-send They worked on our problem in very negative weather conditions and beyond their scheduled time off for Christmas We were looking at the possibility of being in a motel for Christmas, and they worked hard to keep that from happening Would we recommend this company - without a doubt, we will be singing their praises to everyone that will listen
