Review: paid $3000.00 to file all my back taxes and after completed Consumer Tax Relief promised to negotiate for a tax debt reduction or elimination and a reasonable payment plan. I have been unsuccessful in my numerous attempts to contact anyone and no work has been done to fulfill the contract obligation except to prepare the returns. I NEED ASSISTANCE NOW OR A REFUND OF MY MONEY TO PAY SOMEONE ELSE TO COMPLETE THE PROCESS.Desired Settlement: COMPLETION OF THE DEBT REDUCTION PROCESS AND CONTACT WITH A HUMAN BEING FROM CONSUMER TAX RELIEF.

Review: Consumer Tax Relief was paid $3,849.95 to file our tax returns and to negotiate an [redacted] settlement. As of April 2014, Consumer Tax has not fulfilled this obligation. For many months starting last October, 2014, their phone has been disconnected We never received updates, nor copies of any returns that were prepared. We contacted our bank and asked them to discontinue allowing them to deduct funds from our bank account ($500 per month). Someone representing Consumer Tax Relief signed our names to contracts and went into our [redacted] files and sent this information to our bank, information that we never received from them nor did they seek our permission to send confidential tax information to our bank. We had an attorney contact Consumer Tax Relief requesting a refund of our money, for non compliance of service. As of this date we have not received this refund. After many months someone by the name of [redacted] called us and said he would review our file and get back to us, he never did. He also stated that Consumer Tax Relief has not been in business for over a year, someone representing this company took our money from our bank and went into our [redacted] file.Desired Settlement: Total Refund of our money in a certified-check.

Review: I paid this company to help me with my tax problem. When I called Consumer Tax Relief in the state of Florida. After three months of making payments I called to check on my status. I find out the Florida office closed down. So I called the customer service number they gave me . They never received my paperwork from the Florida office but was still billing me. So was given a fax number to fax my paperwork and a number to a rep.. They now had my paperwork for a few month. So I attempted to call the company to check my status again. I kept getting voicemail asking them to return my call. No one called back until I changed my debt card account then they called. I gave them my new card number thinking I would receive better service. But no bet even the reps number wasn't working and the customer service number would just ring and no answer. After paying over $3500.00 still nothing was done to my tax issues.Desired Settlement: I want my money refund of all payments and service fees

Review: I paid Consumer Tax Relief $3200 to help resolve tax issues that occurred during the recession. This company promised to represent my husband and I with our past due taxes. They have not helped us and they have a bogus phone number on their web page of [redacted]. The phone number on the web page answers [redacted] There is another number at the bottom of the web page that goes to a cell phone that has not had the voice mail set up. They fly the Revdex.com logo but not a member. They also fly the [redacted], but not a member of them either as per phone call to [redacted]. I have been defrauded out of $3400 that should have went to the IRS. I have documentation of the agreement to be represented by Consumer Tax Relief. I also have the emails from them and the web page print out with the number that reaches [redacted] This process was started in Feb 2012. CASE number was [redacted] I never got to talk to same person when I would call and ask for update on our case.Desired Settlement: A refund check to be sent to IRS on our behalf.

Review: After many months of over charging account and no communication I finally relized this company was not actually there to provide a service. I have sent many e-mails and left numerous voice messages with no response.Desired Settlement: I would like an explanation and a full refund.

Review: I acquired Consumer Tax Relief as a firm to help me with my back taxes for four years I did not file, and to do corrections for two and to refile them. I was promised that each Tax year would require $250. 00 per year, I paid for four years. This transaction started in March 2014, I was not contacted that any progress was being done or any evidence was presented, or communication through their company, until I tracked them down in May 2014. Their firm also have subtracted a additional $ 19.99 per month from april to last month September 2014. I contacted them on the ** of October and requested someone call me to give me a update, as of today October ** still no call. I also seen this firm take another payment of $89.99 and I was informed they took that in reference to closing my case? I have received no confirmation my Taxes I owe with the [redacted] is settled? I feel they have took my funds and their moving on without doing as they promised?Desired Settlement: Either my funds (all) returned to myself or final resoulution of my tax issues as promised,

Review: I contacted Consumer Tax Relief ###-###-#### and spoke with [redacted] at extension [redacted] on 11/**/2013. Per [redacted] their company could assist me with reducing my Tax Deb of $4,397.54 and set me up on a payment plan at $25 a month due to my financial standing. [redacted] faxed me documents on 11/**/13 to provide my financial information (Outstanding credit card debt, expenses and any other Lines of credit I may have, etc.) which I provided back to her on 11/**/13. Per [redacted] they could help me for $500 for the entire process which I could pay in payments and I did so up until 2/**/14 (Final payment taken out). I was on disability up until 10/2014 and this is when I received a notice from the IRS indicating I had a Levy/Lien placed on my property for failure to pay the back taxes. I contacted the IRS and was notified that Consumer Tax Relief company did contact them once on 12/**/14 to get my account balance and was to call them back on 1/*/14 for other information (IRS not sure what they wanted thereafter) which never happened. I went ahead and setup a payment plan with the IRS directly for $80 a month beginning 11/**/2014. This of course made me suspicious, so I called the numbers I had to reach [redacted] previously of ###-###-#### and ###-###-#### and to no avail those #'s are no longer working. The ###-###-#### sent me to a gentlemen who has no information/unaware of Consumer Tax Relief and states they have had numerous of calls to them for Consumer Tax Relief, but had a number of ###-###-#### and did not know where that routed to, but provided it. That # is not working either goes straight to a Voicemail of a person by the name of Robin and not identifying with Consumer Tax Relief.Desired Settlement: I would like all the monies they debited from my bank account refunded back to me as they did not provide ANY services to me and did not resolve ANY of the agreements discussed to resolve my tax issue. I am now having to do it on my own with additional penalities from the IRS for the delayed payments.

Review: Early in 2014 I received another request for the full amount of my 2010 taxes which had been placed into non-collectable status. The trigger seemed to have been the start of my Social Security Disability benefits. I called CTR back since they had informed me that this would not happen. During their process of putting me back into non-collectable status they inquired about a Offer In Compromise. Their instructions were to submit a $150 and a $60 checks for an application fee and the first of the four monthly payments. I phoned CTR's office because when I read the form it said that the application fee was $186. I was assured by them that the $150 amount was the agreed figure. I received a rejection letter from the IRS dated 5/*/2014 stating that I had not paid the correct fee. When I called CTR about this one employee mentioned that I was one of several this had happened to. They promised to get back in touch with me by the end of the week. I never received a call or email. I called back and was told that I would have the paperwork emailed to me by the end of the day. It never showed up. I've done this with them five times now and never received a reply. Now none of their phone numbers work and their new client number goes to [redacted].

I have emails and phone recordings of their respective promises (the recordings legally done) to show their utter contempt for a client who has paid for their services. My next step if you cannot get a response from them will be to discuss this matter and evidence with the IRS.Desired Settlement: Since the IRS kept the first of four $60 payments if the IRS will agree to the same OIC then I would accept Consumer Tax Relief to adjust my bill (ie paying to the IRS) the application fee of $186 and the three remaining payments of $60 each ($180) for a total of $366. This is assuming that the IRS will allow the check of $60 of mine which they cashed to apply to the balance. If not, I will just pay the last $60 to keep life simple and to be done with this company. The amount that I am requesting I believe to be reasonable as I have paid this company over $1200 through which I was required to do much of the research on the non-applicability of Veterans disability payments among others.

Review: I was seeking help with my over due tax issues. I had heard about their business on radio. So I contacted them in April of 2014. They charged me 1000.00 to settle my tax issue with the IRS. After waiting for months to see what they were proposing to do. Nothing has availed yet. I did not contact them early on because they told me they were going to do a 10 year assessment of my taxes. They sent me some docents to complete and I faxed them to the appropriate representative . I recently called, was told they need more information for my 2012 tax return, that was faxed also. This prior week I have made numerous calls with no response either from the supposed para-legal that was assigned to my case or when I tried to contact customer service, the voice- prompt stated that their voice mail box was full. I have called several times and all I get is a recording. They are taking monies from my checking account every month along with the initial amount I paid to them take my case. Now it is tax season again and I am quite fearful of where I stand and the possibility of losing money and recieved absolutely nothing.

Review: I have a service cilent agreement,to help resolve tax matters with the IRS. The agreement involved filing back taxes which, they were suppose to handle. They did nothing, but withdrew funds out of my account, totaling $1,030 over a 6 months time. which I would like to be refunded. AS the result of that,I had to seek other tax services. They never return my phone calls, and the number was no longer working when I tryed to reached, them.I also recieved certified mail on august *, 2014 from the IRS stateing, that I needed to contact them as soon as possible. because consumer tax relief did nothing!.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to refund my money, becuase I no longer need there assistance.

Sincerely,

Review: Please note that I was promised a service to resolve tax issues for my spouse, [redacted] and myself, with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) by greatly reducing the amount billed. I paid $1,100.00 for this service and limited power of attorney was afforded to allow this company to complete resolution. Electronic communications show that the company provided written confirmation that all balances were removed in my name, and that my spouse had received a $1,000.00 abatement of the penalties incurred.

On September *, I received a letter dated 08/**/14 threatening to levy property. I called the IRS's collection department on September * at ###-###-#### and was told that there was no payment arrangement in place despite several bank account deductions that had already taken place since approximately May 2014. Shortly thereafter, I was informed that a $1,000.00 abatement was afforded but no balances had been removed. The payments that had been made up until that moment only pertained to the outstanding balance under [redacted]’s name. I feel that lines of ethics have been crossed. I ask that you please look into this matter and prevent others from being scammed as I have been.

The paperwork was completed by [redacted], EA., PTIN No. [redacted] – Case No. [redacted]. Currently, I am in the process of reporting this to the authorities as well as the IRS’ Office of Professional Responsibility.Desired Settlement: A complete refund and an apology.

Review: This company is a SCAM!!!! I agreed to have this company settle my tax debt on my behalf however they never made any effort to contact the IRS on my behalf. They took 3k in payments for themselves and never paid the IRS or even negotiated a lower payment on my behalf. My fiance and I began with the location on [redacted]hen they moved to Florida and now it shows the location is now in NY. I spoke with a [redacted] and [redacted] and was advised they would handle my request in 02/2014 and that all monies had been paid in full. At that time they took a total of $2500 from my account and they were now negotiating with the IRS. After further investigation it shows that this company continued to take $19.99 a month from my account and now this month $89.00. I have attempted to reach this company by all means necessary, email and phone numbers. The number listed has been disconnected and the ###-###-#### is for [redacted] sales. This company needs to refund my money ASAP. Some sort of lawsuit needs to be filed against these people. I have filed a complaint with the FTC also.Desired Settlement: This company needs to refund my money ASAP. Some sort of lawsuit needs to be filed against these people. I have filed a complaint with the FTC also.

Review: My husband had an [redacted] issue so he hired this company to help to resolve the problem. They have taken thousands of dollars from us and have done nothing but cost us more money. All of a sudden they stopped taking my husband's calls and will not return any calls. They have been taking $19.99 per month out of our account for while now and just took an unauthorized amount out of our account over the weekend. We have cancelled their access and put in a dispute with our bank. I will be putting in a complaint with the through the [redacted] as well. They have the Revdex.com logo on their website making it look like they are a member of the Revdex.com.I have recently googled several complaints with this company and do not understand why they can continue to do business this way and why consumers cannot get their hard-earned money back once they are exposed. Please help!Desired Settlement: We have paid this company approximately $4,000- to $5,000- in total, if not more (I will have to calculate the exact amount) and would love that money to go towards our [redacted] debt like it should have in the first place.I would also like them to stop being aloud to practice this type of business; taking consumer's hard-earned money when their already in the middle of a bad situation.

[Your Answered Here]

I as well as a [redacted] was contacted by a [redacted] who claims to be the owner of Consumer Tax Relief stating that he was going to resolve the matter but just as this has done for the last three years, he has lied to both me and the Internal Revenue service. She needed a couple of documents from [redacted] who said he would supply to her but never did. I had to get the information myself and send it to the [redacted] which I did on 4/*/2015. I have sent Consumer Tax Relief this same information over 10 times in the last three years and I have had to deal with a different [redacted] numerous times. That's their scam, they promise you tax relief because I was in despair, they get your money, they request time and time again personal and financial documents over and over then their phones are disconnected. I had to track them down myself. One guy I dealt with who told me he was the [redacted] name is [redacted] who works for Optima Tax now. You can find him on [redacted]. This whole thing has caused emotional and physical stress to me. Consumer Tax Relief and owner [redacted] are located in [redacted] all you have to do is [redacted] it. I also have [redacted]'s phone number if anyone wants it.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Review: I hired Consumer Tax Relief to do my back taxes and represent me for my federal and state tax issues. I paid them the agreed price of some 1400.00 ....I have had questions and tried to find out some information from them but can never get a person to talk to. They do not return phone calls and it is as if they are not in business any more. They continue to take out of my checking account 19.99 on a monthly basis. I never agreed to this. They just kind of let me standing and didn't finish the job. There is just no one to talk to. I have called and emailed and faxed but no one is replyingDesired Settlement: I would like my money back.
