Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
In the present, it could be inferred through the pictures that the above statements are accurate; however, the problems with the roof leaking occurred before the pigeon proofing was installed, after the solar was installed and the first big rain occured. In the five years of living in this house, before the solar was installed, there were no leaks. When the installers installed the solar panels, they first removed all of the tiles, stacked them to the side and began anchoring the frame that would hold the panels to the roof. At that time there was No presence of pigeon debris. The installer claimed that the anchor points would be mounted to the rafters; however, an inside examination in the attic clearly shows that the anchor points Missed some of the rafters and no sealant material between the anchor and the roof is present. If the frame had been mounted properly when anchoring the solar mounting rack, this leak would have have never occurredCool Blew sent to our home a solar installer in lieu of a certified roofer, replacing a few tiles, then begins telling me that he thinks/feels some aura about the house, suggesting that it is haunted or something and only through some burning of sage and stuff will our problems be solved. Right before the solar installer leaves, he assures me that Cool Blew will be sending a certified roofer to "make right" and fix our roof leak. Clearly through Cool Blew's response to the Revdex.com, this is not what will happen

I talked to the service tech that was doing the repair and found out that he was there on Tuesday to finish the repair but was communicating with the property managerThe only phone number that was given to us from One Guard Home Warranty was the property manager so that was our only
point of contactI called to *** this morning about the situation and she confirmed that the tech did show up on Tuesday and finished the repair. I confirmed with *** that the repair was completed to her satisfactionThe complaint that *** has is with the lack of communication that she had through the repair process from our office staff and not that the repair was not completedI apologize for any lack of communication that *** or the property manager had with our office staffI did look through our records and did see that we were in communication with the property manager to let him know that we were running behind but it was after the scheduled time of the appointmentI will work with our office staff to make sure that they do a better job in the future with keeping the customer updated when a tech is running behind Tim P***Cool Blew, Inc

I am not sure why nobody from the office did not return the phone calls and I will be looking into this. I found out that the wrong AHRI number had been sent to SRP which is why the denial letter was sent out. The system that we installed is indeed the correct system which is a 16 SEER system....

I have contacted SRP and re-sent in the paperwork with the correct AHRI certificate so that they can get the rebate approved. SRP informed me that they will have to inspect the system before they will approve the rebate due to the original rebate application being denied. I called Karthik Srinivasan and left a voice message explaining what had happened and what the process was going to be with SRP. I have attached the correct AHRI certificate for the system for your review. This is the same certificate that has been re-sent to SRP. I am sorry for any inconvenience this has caused and will make sure that I stay in contact with SRP until the rebate has been approved. Let me know if you have any questions regarding this. Thank you.

We have been working with Mr. and Mrs. [redacted]o get the paperwork corrected after we removed the Aero Seal portion from the job and corrected the amount being charged to the [redacted]o financing portion of the job. The revised paperwork is attached and has also been emailed to Mr. and Mrs....

The thermostats that you can purchase at Home Depot or Lowes have a 1 year warranty. The thermostat that we supply has a 5 year warranty from Honeywell and we have a 1 year labor warranty on the thermostat. The price that was quoted is not for just the thermostat but also...

includes labor to diagnose, install and check the system to make sure that there were no other issues. The price that we charge is a very fair price and we warranty the repair for a year. I sent the invoice and the copy of the warranty page that shows that the thermostat has a 5 year warranty. The invoice shows that the homeowner approved the work to be completed over the phone. Thank you.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11251335, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. I am only accepting this resolution because I want to be done with this company. No apologies over the phone and was almost argumentive. They did contact my property manager about being behind schedule after he contacted them multiple times. Not once did the business reach out on their own. The work was done and I won't argue that but way outside of the scheduled time and with no communication. Check the Yelp reviews - I'm not the only one with issues.

I am sorry about the misunderstanding regarding the scheduling of the maintenance check. We will totally work with the customer to get this scheduled at a time that will work for Greg. We have sent Greg an email along with 2 phone messages to contact us so we can get this scheduled....

As soon as we hear back from Greg we will get this issue resolved. Thank you!  [redacted]Cool Blew, Inc.[redacted]

I have contacted Mr. [redacted] to schedule a time for the roofer and myself to go to the home to completely inspect the issue to see what is going on there. I will give you a complete report after the meeting which will be sometime during the week of June 8th to the 12th. Let me know if you have any other questions on anything.Thank you.[redacted]Cool Blew Inc

I wanted to update you on what we found when we went out to the [redacted] home to replace a couple of cracked tiles. Another company installed bird screen around the solar panels and cracked tiles when they installed the bird screen. The roof and solar panels still have pigeon debris and the valley...

and wall flashing still are restricted due to the pigeon debris. There are cages on the roof that they are using to try to trap the pigeons. I have sent you pictures that we took when we were there for your review. Once again the roof leaks that they have are being caused by the pigeon debris and not from our solar installation. Let me know if you need any additional information on anything regarding this. Thank you! [redacted]Cool Blew, Inc

I did look through our records and did see that we were in communication with the property manager to let him know that we were running behind but it was after the scheduled time of the appointment. I will work with our office staff to make sure that they do a better job in the future with keeping the customer updated when a tech is running behind.
