Review: On Dec 15, 2012, I electronically submitted my opera [redacted] to copyright associates for them to register with the copyright office and paid $104 (their fee of $69 and $35 registration fee). They have been unable to even submit/upload it to the office (even though I have subsequently submitted three additional works directly with the Copyright Office with success) let alone produce the actual copyright. Their website states "your satisfaction 100% guaranteed." When they responded to me via email, no one ever used their name, and I asked several times to have a supervisor call me but only received anonymous responses. I have a long email trail of all my correspondance giving a deadline of two days ago with the promise that I would then I would go to the Revdex.com and my lawyer. All I want is my money back even though are completely inept as a business.

Review: I, [redacted], filed 8 novels in June and July 2013 for copyrights. It is now late January and I have received notice from the Library of Congress stating that my copyrights were being delayed because of an encryption code on the novels submitted. The Library of Congress informs me that my works cannot be uploaded by them. The Copyright Order Number is [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], [redacted]. I have less then 10 days to get my works resubmitted before they will not copyright it without repaying the fees. I would like for my projects to be resubmitted as soon as possible without the encryption code that I did not use or a full refund of $360.00. Thank youDesired Settlement: I paid $480 on my debit card. I would like a full refund.

Review: I CONTACTED -ONLIGHT A COPYRIGHT SERVICE ON jULY 17. 2013. They listed the fee as $69.00 . The total bill was $104.00. I paid by credit card .I have not heard from them ./ I e-mailed the twice to see how much longer I have to wait to go ahead with my copyright request. I did not get an answer from them. The web site looked like the US COPY WRITE SERVICE. when I paid the fee I discovered that the ligitomate Government cpoy right service is only $35-45.00.I do not think that I will hear from them again. They are still on line for "US copy right services.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund . They have not answered the mail I sent to them .

Review: I searched copyright on google and the first site that comes up is a site by the name of copyright associates. I put in all of my information for my material to be copyrighted. After my payment went through I did not receive a confirmation for my payment. They also did not allow me to upload my material to be copyrighted. I did not even receive an order number. After further research I was able to find their telephone number. I called the number and there was no customer service representative available to answer my call. I still have not received an email after I sent several to the email address that was provided. There is no telephone contact number on the site, it is basically a consumer trap. I feel that this com pany is scamming people and I wanted to complain and find some way to get my money back. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I would like the funds that I used to purchase this service refunded to me. They are not providing a service but are simply ripping people off. Thank you

Review: On September 9, 2013 I sent $104.00 to this company to process the copyright for some of my songs. I never received anything from them and have tried to contact them by e-mail several times and by a letter. I received the letter back marked undeliverable to that address. I would like to file a complaint based on the fact that the website says one thing and they did not honor what it said.Desired Settlement: Get my money back and fixed the web site so that others will not be cheated. Review: I had $104.00 charged to my credit card on 03-29-14 when I applied for a Copyright License with this company. Though they send me a confirmation e-mail reflecting payment, they never sent my license. I have since discovered they have numerous complaints dating back to 2013, and are not Revdex.com approved. I am unable to reach them by phone, and they will not respond to my followup e-mails.Desired Settlement: Ultimately, I would prefer my copyright license so I can submit my book to a publisher. However, if they are not going to follow through with sending me my license, then I want my money back.

Review: I attempted to copyright my song compositions on this web site. First, I was charged TWICE. In addition, the site did not request an upload of my material therefore no copyright could be achieved since my material was not included. The phone number they have listed is out-of-service. I have requested a refund/cancelation of my transaction via the email the site lists but have received no response.Desired Settlement: Refund

Review: I filled out a request to have a picture copyrighted June 27, 2014, never received a response. Out of my account $104.67 was taken. I tried to contact them several times because I hadn't heard from them. They never responded.Desired Settlement: A full refund and they be prosecuted for false advertisement and fraud

Review: On July 31, 2013, I contacted Copyright Associates in Washington, DC to copyright one of my stage plays. To perform this service, they charged me $104. The transaction was made through my bank debit card on July 31, 2013. At first, I received emails from them, informing me of what would happen, what steps would be taken, etc. But later on when I contacted them by email, I received no reply. Complete silence.I emailed them again in August, 2014 to inquire about the status of my application. No reply. Finally, on the advice of the [redacted], on August 25, 20014, I sent Copyright Associates a certified letter, receipt requested, asking them for a full refund. My letter could not be delivered (addressee unknown), and the Post Office returned my letter on September 25, 2014. Copyright Associates was supposedly located at [redacted], Washington, DC [redacted]. Maybe they were at that address at one time, but obviously they aren't anymore. Also, I could never find a telephone number for them.I sincerely hope the Revdex.com will be able to resolve this matter.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a full refund of $104. Of course, in order to do that, the Revdex.com most locate Copyright Associates. Whether Revdex.com finds them or not, they must expose Copyright Associates so other writers or artists are not taken in by them.

I always wondered why I never heard from these people....NOW I know. Yes! I did submit a copywrite, and a check for $104

Review: paid for a copyright, then needed to cancel the same day. Card was charged. Now when I try to contact anyone, no answer to emails, or phone calls. Order number [redacted] was placed on March 6, 2014. emailed again on March 11, again on March 20, again on March 27. Tried calling number (###-###-####) on March 27 and again on March 31st.Desired Settlement: Want our debit card refunded - supposed to be 100% satisfaction guaranteed - and I'M NOT SATISFIED!!!!

Review: Copyrightassociates have not sent a case number to me. I paid them a $104.00 registraton fee which they have accepted. I have e-mailed them several times & no responseDesired Settlement: Refund

Review: A debit of $104.00 cleared by bank account on June 5, 2014. It was payable to Copyright Associates. My copyright application has NOT been submitted to the U. S. Copyright Office.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement of fee

Review: I have tried in vine to speak with representative of said company and I have gotten no response. it's been two years now I just want a refund for services not rendered. I do not have a [redacted] account so a refund check would be appreciated.Desired Settlement: refund only

Review: I paid Copyright Associates to file my copyright registration for my book manuscript on May 3, 2014. On May 6, 2014, Copyright Associates gave me a case # for my registration. I called the actual US copyright office, and the U.S. Copyright representative named Jonathan had no record of my case number. No case # exists under my name either. So I emailed Copyright Associates informing them that no such case # exists, and I was told by email that the company would check the status and if my registration was misfiled, it would be corrected. It has been over one month, and this issue has not been corrected, nor has my registration been submitted as promised. The site claims 100% guarantee. I emailed asking for full refund since no phone number is listed on site, and now Copyright Associates is no longer responding to any emails. Now I am out of money and no registration. Also, now Copyright Associates has an electronic copy of my manuscript on file which technically has no copyright pending according to US Copyright office. I feel scammed and my work is out there unprotected for anyone to steal. I have emailed numerous times and still no response. All the emails are documented. And to make matters worse, the U.S. Copyright Office has received calls from other customers complaining about the same issue with Copyright Associates in regards to filing errors or not even filing registration as promised. My next step is legal representation if this is not corrected soon.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund. I would rather file the registration directly with US Copyright office myself if Copyright Associates is not capable of providing the services that I paid for. This is a time sensitive matter.

Review: I submitted my literary work to Copyrights Associates in March of 2014, through multiple emails and through contacting the Library of Congress directly myself I discovered that this company took my money and did not submit my work. The company still said that they would "try to find my application" and resubmit it. Which is another lie. This is horribly unethical. I contacted them again telling them that I would be filing a report with the Revdex.com, and still no response. It wasn't until later that I discovered there are many other clients like me that paid for these services that were not rendered. This company is a scam.Desired Settlement: This company needs to be shut down.

Response:

This is the address that they send in their emails. If this is the same address that you originally have on file, then it serves as more proof to back up my claim that this is a scam. Please do all you can to keep others from getting scammed and money taken away from them.

Review: The company calling themselves CopyrightAssociates.com implied through their website that they would register my newly published book with the U.S. Copyright Office. This was on approximately August 4, 2013, when they charged me a $104.00 fee but asked that I not send a copy of the book at this time.

Today I learned that in addition to the $104 fee my credit card had been charged a "Foreign Transaction Fee" of $1.04, so that I am highly suspicious that this is a fraud.Desired Settlement: Full refund of my $105.04 to my credit card account.

Review: I paid for a service ( copyright submission to U.S. Copyright Office ) order number [redacted].

Mailed a DVD USPS 3/12/2013 , now I get an email telling me to I must send my documents to U.S. Copyright office.

I paid CopyrightAssociates.com to do the fileing and sending for me.

USPS TRACKING: [redacted]Desired Settlement: Upload my documents to U.S. Copyright Office as I paid you to do.

Review: On August 28th, 2013, I was charged $124 to have a tv show

Copywritten with the Library of Congress by Copywrite associates.

They processed the payment on September 3rd 2013 but we still

Haven't received a Copywrite of the work. We tried emailing the company

But received no response. I then tried calling the address that the company

Provided on their website but when I called, the receptionist

Said that no company by that name held residence in the building.

I'm looking for a refund of the $124 or the Copywrite to my show.Desired Settlement: I'm either looking for the $124 refund or the Copywrite of my show.
