CoreLogic provides tax reporting and payment facilitation services to its clients on real property. From time to time, situations may occur where the description of a property is inaccurately captured resulting in the payment of taxes on a property in error. When such a situation occurs,
CoreLogic contacts the property owner that received the unjust enrichment to seek reimbursement of the payment that was made in error. In this situation, based on initial research, it was believed that *** *** was unjustly enriched by the amount of the tax payment ($5,202.60). Upon *** ***’s receipt of a letter from CoreLogic regarding this matter, he contacted CoreLogic by phone and additional research was conducted. At that time, it was determined that a different property owner was in fact the unjust beneficiary of this particular payment. As such, CoreLogic has closed any actions it was pursuing against *** ***. It will provide a separate letter to *** *** regarding the same pursuant to his request in this Revdex.com complaint. Respectfully,
