Dear Revdex.com,I spoke with [redacted] yesterday about the door he purchasedHe stated that he believed the door wasn't the color he choseI explained that the door was made in the color that was written on the contract as well as the measure sheetHe is sending some photos for me to look at to see if we may be able to match a different color he likesI am awaiting an email from him or picture through text showing me what he is looking forI will work to attempt to satisfy his request within reason.Thank you, [redacted] General ManagerMajic Window Company

I spoke to both [redacted] and Mrs [redacted] over the last week when they inquired about the status of their roofA complaint of no communication in this matter is completely falseAs I explained to them, the order is currently in our permit department waiting on approval from the city of SouthfieldThis is a matter of public record and is easily verifiedAlso, it is never a practice of Majic or it's representatives to state a week install turnaroundThis is due to the fact it would not be possible to allow for a day right to cancel, permits with the city and coordination with the installerIt is not possibleOur install lead time is 6-weeksCurrently we are waiting for a follfrom the city of SouthfieldWe will be expediting this order as much as possible here at Majic.Thank you [redacted] ***

For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:On Friday, 5/13, I had to drive to the company and speak with someone as I was getting no where on my telephone call On my telephone call, I was told it would be a week or two before their service person could reschedule and visit My visit to the company resulted in their decision to immediately address my warranty issues and have a service person at my home the following morning - which they did I do appreciate this effort but unfortunately for me all of the warranty windows were all measured incorrectly and/or did not have the white grid work in themIn the end, the only warranty work done was one cracked window was replaced with a wrong sized window - it will have to be replaced again The service person felt the company would put a rush on a new order for correctly measured and proper white grid windows The initial warranty windows took five months to arrive and visit to replace If the company can replace the defective windows with corrected windows within the next two weeks then I will be satisfied and consider my complaint resolved Regards,

For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:This is not true , and perhaps your sales person was lying to us. We told him that we needed the new roof by the following week because the roof is so damaged and it could not hold a snow fall. He promised that was not a problem we had told him he had to guarantee this because we had another contractor that could perform the job the next week. I contacted the city today and was informed the permit has been ready ..............and of course here we are with a snow fall, today.

Due to no air circulation we had frost in the attic and therefore the water leaked into our ceilingDue to the frost and the leakage our attic was full of moldThe issue had to be resolved as soon as possibleAfter having the mold tested, we had a professional company come out to clean up the mold and make sure that there is proper air circulation in the attic, so this issue won't occur againWith this company I have a lifetime labor warrantyThis cost us an additional $3,In total we spent $5,to have our attic insulated instead of $1,which is the common price for attic insulationI guess we learned our lesson the hard wayNever let a sales company take care of home improvements

Submitted a request to have window service back in April, because the sash was bad on installation in October, and unable to lock windowI have spoken with several people in the warranty department and was told the window should be in by certain date and I would be called to arrange time for installation and of course this has not happenedI have tired of waiting and think Majic can come get their windows and I will go back to *** ***, at least they always tried to resolve issues in a timely manner, Majic has offered nothing by lip service with nothing backing it upI am at wits end, since paying almost $4,more for these windows and very poor customer warranty serviceI just want my money back and they can take their windowsI will also be contacting *** *** who financed this purchaseRegards,*** ***

Please fix or replace my year guaranteed windowsIt has been months of excuses why they have not fixed the job yetThis is a local company and I would rather not have to destroy their reputationHowever, if I can prevent this from happening to my fellow neighbors, I will proceedI would much rather have this resolved without having to go that route
