Courtesy Chevrolet Center Reviews (23)

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved Regards, [redacted] I would like to provide this addendum to the above response: I am happy that Courtesy Chevrolet has replied to the problems outlined in a positive way, yet it is unfortunate that Mr [redacted] ignored my concerns Mr [redacted] 's response, though well-intentioned, is misguided in some respects: Presume no more-the Buyers Guide was not given to me Neither was the CarFax As far as the inspection report...we received an affirmation only after my girlfriend asked about it We never received it either What really irks me is the insinuation that I must have damaged the engine's skid plate and chassis Again, my girlfriend (and her dad) can corroborate the fact that damage occurred before I took possession of the vehicle If there is any doubt- have someone who specializes in metals or body repair date the time of incident If the damage isn't mentioned in the inspection report or the claim is that the damage wasn't there at the time of sale---then someone at the dealership is lying or falsifying the report My girlfriend saw something hanging from the vehicle, but it wasn't until I was under the car looking for that missing extra key (that wasn't disclosed) did I discover the extent of damage Mr [redacted] goes on to highlight how happy I was with the vehicle Perhaps that was a bit premature on my part, but that does not stray from the fact that there were indeed issues with the vehicle Yet overall I am happy with the purchase; it's a great car Today, Friday July 18th, 2014, (and as instruc***) I called Mr [redacted] , General Manager, but had to leave a message on his voicemail Hopefully we can communicate on Monday and resolve the issues I'd like to thank [redacted] from the Revdex.com for mediating and [redacted] for the prompt and satisfactory reply

Dear [redacted] ***In this, our second response to Complaint # [redacted] , we stand firm on what we responded the first time this past January 30th..We show nothing in our files that would suggest the price of the car being changed and that the day warranty that came with Ms [redacted] vehicle, was for powertrain only, and as you well know, has long since expired..Therefore, there is no further obligation from our company to herBest wishes, [redacted] , Courtesy Chevrolet (619) 297-

Dear S*** ***In reference to case # *** which we received yesterday from Mr *** ***, via your channels, I am very happy to report to the Revdex.com that we contacted Mr *** and agreed to his desired settlementThe truth is that we were having ongoing communication for the past
couple of days with him and amongst ourselves, when our General Manager, *** ***, authorized to replace the steel wheels on his brand new Chevrolet Cruze the evening before we received the complaintMr *** was contacted yesterday afternoon, we set up the appointment for today at 1pm and left here completely satisfied around 2:30pm with his new wheels.. We are sorry if we have caused any grief to our customer, but I truely believe that at the moment of purchase, there was a misunderstanding and miscommunication on the mentioned wheelsWe at Courtesy Chevrolet, have been serving the great community of San Diego since 1961, and not to mention the fact that that's how long we have been honored by being affiliated wth the honorable Revdex.comWe strive to make our beloved customers completely satisfied.. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at *** *** during business hoursRespectfully yours, *** ***

I
think it is absolutely ridiculous that Courtesy Chevrolet states that they cannot obtain the price of the vehicle I would assume that they would have it recorded somewhere Also the fact that they did not fix the problems with the vehicle that were more expensive to repair indicates to me of their shady values while informing me that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle
Thanks

Dear *** ***,
In answer to complaint #***, it is *** that Mr *** *** purchased from us a Chevrolet Tahoe on March 22nd of this yearHowever, it is difficult for us to believe, and without proof of the conversation taking place at the time of the
sale between the Sales Consultant and Mr ***, that it would take a client more than months to attempt using his wi-fi. The Sales Consultant in question, always maintained good customer service index with his client base and possessed excellent product knowledge, especially when the the product technology is highly marketed by ChevroletNot too long ago, Mr *** came to us and mentioned the situationAs a goodwill gesture on our behalf, we offered him $for a transaction dated months proirBut when Mr *** tried to negotiate it to $200, which we denied, he then threatened to begin writing lettersAt that time, the goodwill gesture on our part was rescinded due to the threatWe have taken noticed of the updated remedy stated in Revdex.com complaint of $700, when he was only asking for $And by the way, *** *** has also denied any claims as they found the information irrelevent due to timeline concernsAs Courtesy Chevrolet has made a goodwill gesture that was denied by Mr *** on the basis of "insignificant" or "not eneough", we consider this matter closedIf further communication is needed, please feel free to call me at *** ***
Sincerely,

In response to Case # [redacted], we at Courtesy Chevrolet Center, apologize to Mr [redacted] for the confusion that occurred during the negotiations and attempts to obtain an acceptable finance structure to be able to submit...

this loan for final approval.. All of the items discussed with Mr [redacted] were speculative.. We never obtained his necessary proof of income needed to facilitate a complete application to any lender.. We will be happy to submit his loan application once we have all the required finance stipulations needed, that is if he still wants us to try to get an approval on his behalf.. It will need to be on a different vehicle however, because the Denali is no longer available.. Please have him contact [redacted] directly at ###-###-####, so that we don’t run into these miscommunications again… Best wishes,  [redacted], Courtesy Chevrolet Center…

Dear [redacted]..
In response to complaint # [redacted], yes it is true that Mr [redacted] purchased on October 15th of this year, a 2016 Chevrolet 2500 Silverado with an advanced security system. However, he didn't want the system and we gladly re-wrote the...

contract the following day, October 16th, where he was given an additional $1,000 (one thousand dollars) rebate and his payment was lowered by $30 (thirty dollars)a month. As far as the [redacted] card is concerned, he was told several times at purchase that this particular vehicle DID NOT qualify for the [redacted] program because it was a SPECIAL EVENT TRUCK that was used in a [redacted] parade this year and Mr [redacted] knew about this since day one when he visited us.Mr [redacted] is always welcome to come and sit down with us in a peaceful manner and go over his entire contract. As you know, and being a long time member of the Revdex.com, we at Courtesy Chevrolet have been serving the San Diego community since 1961 and we try our hardest to please our beloved customers.. We are sorry that Mr [redacted] is not happy with us, but as I mentioned before, we will be happy to discuss his entire contract at our dealership..
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Dear [redacted]... On response to complaint #[redacted], it is true that Mr [redacted] did purchase from us on June 30th, 2014, a 2013 Toyota Rav 4. After reviewing the complaint issued by Mr [redacted], we immediatley looked through the file and noticed that the Buyers Guide was...

signed by Mr [redacted] but no copy of it was found. We presumed that it was given to him. I personally mailed out this morning, not only sending him a copy of the Buyers Guide which he signed, but also a copy of the Carfax and the inspection points of the mentioned vehicle which he reques[redacted]. As far as the extra key is concerned, we know that Mr [redacted] sent an e-mail on July 2nd, 2014, stating how happy he was for purchasing the vehicle, except for one minor detail: The extra key was missing. It is not our responsability to issue an extra key of a used vehicle if the previous owner did not leave it. However, we will be more than happy to oblige Mr [redacted] with the extra key. As far as the July 8th, 2014 e-mail is concerned, we are asking Mr [redacted] to please bring in his vehicle so that we can inspect the A/C and the skid plates. Please note that in the inspection points, the skid plates were inspec[redacted] and no damage was found. As mentioned before, Mr [redacted] sent us an e-mail (7-2-14) saying that he was happy and six days later (7-8-14) he sent us another e-mail that the skid plates were damaged. And finally, we will inform the lender about the $795 security alarm fee and have them reduce that amount from his loan. This action will be done when Mr [redacted] visits us and signs the cancellation form for this alarm system. Please ask Mr [redacted] to contact our General Manager, [redacted], at 619-297-4321, Monday-Friday from 10am-5pm so that they can further discuss this matter in detail...
Best wishes,
[redacted]
