Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I am so glad to have more than characters to further this complaint Tom Waldron and Waldron Heating,Cooling, and Electric tried to "Bully" both his employee and myself on1/6/ Tom actually threatened his employee Joey that if he did not collect the money from me, Joey would be fired once he left my house At that point, I got on the phone and told Tom that he was not going to intimidate me on his price gouging, and furthermore, if he fired his employee for not stealing money from me, he could get another job immediately At that point, I told Tom and Joey that we have a security system on our home, with camera's, and I was going to call the police immediately to report this incident I did call the police in Murrysville, PA, and they have my report on file The officer also told me to contact Three Rivers, so they could know there subcontractor was ripping customers off That I did also on Saturday the 6th I had to call different times on 1/8/to speak to someone at Three Rivers, and when he did call me back, he refused to give me his name, and hung up on me after saying for me to go ahead and report this issue as I did not pay anything This wasn't the reason for contacting the police and Revdex.com, it was to report the corrupt business of Waldron's Getting back to Joey leaving our home, a employee of [redacted] 's Service came out ONLY after I was lied to by Tom and Waldron 's for the past days Furthermore without heat Anyone in there right mind would at this point try to get someone else out to their home If you recall, it was minus on both 1/5/18, 1/6/and many days prior As for Joey lying to me about a point diagnosis , something that does not exist, Tom seems to fail to answer that question or any other complaints against Waldrons Also the tech from [redacted] 's Service, said that any reputable company knows that when you remove the cover from your furnace, and see flashing red lights, it means to check the water line He actually showed this to me In about minutes, he cleaned the water line and our furnace has worked perfectly since Saturday Also, Joey told me it would take anywhere from 1-hours for this diagnosis So, forget about ordering pizza Tom, let's deal with the facts here, and how you and your employees seem to think its is OK to price gouge and lie to customers to make an extra buck Or should I say $or more bucks if I had your company do the work on my furnace You should be ashamed of yourself, and your companyAlso, my bill from [redacted] 's was $ What a HUGE, and I mean HUGE, difference in price [redacted]

Case # [redacted] Ref.- [redacted] ***Dear Revdex.com,We do not have a contract with the above Person filing the complaintDue to client privilege and confidentiality we cannot discuss other people's contracts and our business relations with outside people regardless of relationship. Moreover, this complainant states her father had met and had the written contract with the companyTrue. All and any accusations pertaining to transaction cannot be made in the complaint, as the complainant lives out of state and was not present during the transaction with father. She also speaks for her husbandHe was not present during the transaction as he to lives out of state. We have no written authorization as required by law to just bill someone without a written contract being constructed under the PAHIC law enacted in and could be a violation of the unfair collection act without a person's name on the contract. We came to a concession on the telephone to help her father, that I would do the repair work for free, including supply the part(s) however, he would have to donate to the Animal Rescue League $If her father would sign and approve that offer we would have to deal with the father in which whom the original contract was contracted with. This complainant is attempting to be a third outside party that was not present, attempting to complain about something she has no DIRECT knowledge about. Therefore she has absolutely no creditability in the entire transaction and cannot be held creditworthy, does not have a contract with our company, and cannot write a complaint about the situation as she was not present to witness any part of the physical transaction. In light of those facts and our confidentiality contract clause we have with our customer, is impossible to respond to a complainant that was not present or whom we DO NOT have a contract with or paid us any money for servicesGood luck with that " [redacted] part when or if it fails and or damages to damages to the A/C unit, and there is no one to pay for the consequential or product damagesGood luck collection on that warrantee too from [redacted] .The grocery store is making an egregious profit off you too, did you know you can grow your own vegetables and hunt, for free food? Don't forget to file your Revdex.com complaint against your local grocery store for making a profit and a living. Please do not contact our company by telephone.Sincerely,Thomas *W [redacted] President

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Contraire to what MrWaldron is insisting, the diagnostics and invoice from [redacted] *** does indeed show that MrWaldron did not provide a correct diagnosis for our problem Per their diagnostic form, the blower WAS getting volts of power and was spinning freely This implies that the circuit board WAS indeed working properly Furthermore, to clarify, the diagnosis for the nonfunctioning furnace was not the cracked heat exchanger Yes, the cracked heat exchanger was replaced, however it was found incidentally and was not the cause of the nonfunctioning furnace The cause of was a blown capacitor in the variable speed module I have attached a photo for reference of this part It clearly has a blown capacitor Per the invoice from [redacted] ***, once this part was replaced, the furnace was working properly In regards to the phone conversation between my husband and MrWaldron, at that point of time, my husband mistakenly believed that the circuit board was being replaced by *** [redacted] *** It was not until after this phone conversation, that he discovered that the circuit board did not need to be replaced or repaired Since replacing the variable speed module, we have experienced no issues with the furnace, and it has been functioning properly This contradicts MrWaldron's claim that issues with the circuit board can occur intermittently, as we have experienced no malfunctions since replacing the variable speed module If MrWaldron still believes that we are lying about having replaced the circuit board, we will invite him into our home to do a proper inspection of said circuit board He will find that it is the exact same circuit board that was present when he was in our home Of course, if he does want to inspect this board personally, we would request that a third party be present, ideally a police officer This would make me feel much more comfortable, as his demeanor was very threatening during our last experience with him As mentioned, I am happy to allow MrWaldron to inspect our furnace to prove that his diagnosis was incorrect If he is unwilling to accept that his diagnosis was incorrect, then the only reasonable explanation for this is that MrWaldron is simply continuing on with his history of unethical business practices I have read a number of articles/reviews citing examples of Mr.Waldron providing incorrect diagnoses and then overcharging for unnecessary services In this case, MrWaldron charged us for a service that he did not actually provide NO CORRECT DIAGNOSIS WAS GIVEN And then, he intimidated my husband into signing his contract I have discovered that the Confidentiality Clause of Mr.Waldron's contract is entirely illegal and is in violation of the Consumer Review Fairness Act In addition, I have found newspaper articles about other incidents of unethical business practices http://www.post-gazette.com/local/2008/03/21/Electrician-zapped-for-overcharging... summary, the paperwork from [redacted] *** does show that MrWaldron's diagnosis was incorrect If he would like to inspect our circuit board to assure that we are not lying about this, then he is welcome to It is completely unfair and unethical to expect us to pay $for a service that MrWaldron did not provide We are agreeable to paying the $ If MrWaldron is unable to come to an agreement on this, I will be forced to seek action with the Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission From what I understand, there are already a number of complaints with the Attorney General's Office And the Federal Trade Commission welcomes complaints on businesses who violate the Consumer Review Fairness Act I would prefer to resolve this in a less inflammatory fashion Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThe facts of the situation are as follows:1) I am the HOMEOWNER of the property and hired Waldron Electric to perform a house call.2) I, as the one hiring, agreed to the $trip fee Any additional fees were to be discussed with me in full detail as I am the homeowner My cell phone number was given and all decisions were to be made by me3) Any information that was provided in previous statements was done by my experiences with Waldron Electric via phone 4) As stated before, my father and husband would be more than happy to recount their horrible customer service interaction with Waldron Electric.5) From my perspective, this is not a closed case and I would like further follow up and a refund of the $for services that were not authorized by the homeowner Regards, [redacted] ***

Dear Revdex.com,Please see all authorizations on contract, including initials, prices and terms.Customer took issue with $Trip fee, so we lowered it to $for customer satisfaction, See his initials approving such charge top right of contract along with terms.Spoke to him and wife over phone BEFORE arriving, they said others were tampering with wiring due to loss of power misc areas of home.I gave them a ball park and my total cost when done with the work was $1000-$under the telephone estimate depending how bad their handy man damaged the wiring, they accepted the range.Upon arrive gave diagnostic estimate to husband, he had to ask permission to wife on phoneI talked to wife she approved all charges said fix it as she was at work.Customer Mr [redacted] initials for trip fee if $and diagnostic as reflected on contractI found the problem, he started complaining about the price so I repaired his lights and receptacles for freeHe thentried to get me to do more work for free on an outside receptacle and cut out a foot line, I told him $he balked xxxxxxx, so I said you do it then, he agreed, see the contract he initials he refused to pay for the receptacle junction box and line repairHowever I fixed his all his lights in the house for free and he still xxxxxxxThen he started giving me an attitude once his lights were fixed trying to degrade me, at that point I was done working for these people, on minute there all like ya fix all electrical lights in my house, then when you fix it they start giving you a hard time trying to get you to do all this extra free workThe contract clearly outlines and is obvious that if you need more work there is a cost associated with it.He signed a full satisfaction and that he would take full responsibility for any future electrical repairs ie: gfi junction box etcSee his initial on the contract.Twenty minutes later his ungrateful wife calls me screaming that $to fix half her lights and plugs in her house is ridiculousI asked her why was she so upset and surprised, I told you the cost over the phone you said fix it and your husband signed up for it and I came in $under what your approved on the phoneShe went on that her handyman where cheaper and I told her you handy man ho boze could not find the problem for days if you want a professional you have to pony up and pay a pro. There like Jekle and Hyde, when they need you they bow down to you, then the second you f ix it they tell you you're a xxxxxxx and xxxxxxxxxxxxThese people are unbalanced and I request they never call my business again. All contract terms were completed and they received the repair by restoring their lights that was the call for service at no additional repair cost like the top portion of the contract outlines. This is all price complaintShould not even be in filePlease forward to [redacted] to reviewWaste my time on this baseless complaint with no merit.Customer is blacklisted , Do no call use again for service, use you incompetent handymen and see how far you get.Tom W [redacted] Waldron ElectricPresident and PA State Electrical Inspector

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below If you simply scroll down to view the attached photo, (below the cat box and water heater) you will see the blown capacitor on the variable speed module This was the part of the furnace that was not functioningNot the circuit board We were not informed of the inflated cost of diagnostics until after MrWaldron had been in our homeIf we had been informed prior to the diagnostics that it would cost $total to perform it, we would not have moved forward with this Furthermore, I don’t understand where the business owner is getting six man-hoursHe was in our home for no more than 1/hoursThis is also being inflated It is completely unreasonable for a business to charge this amount of money for a WRONG diagnosisWe were not informed in advance that it would cost this amount of moneyAnd, we did not actually receive any type of correct serviceThe business deserves the $for coming to the homeTo expect consumers to pay $for an incorrect diagnosis is completely unreasonable Regards, [redacted]

Dear Revdex.com,This complainant is NOT OUR CUSTOMER, and we do not have a contract with her name on itShe has no right to complaint, paid nothing and no refund will be given. It is our policy that we cannot and will not respond to relatives of our customer or any third party. This is due to the fact that the third party is never actually present during the transaction and only goes off hearsay or manufactures what they thing happened during a particular transaction.A business cannot respond to someone that manufactures information about a certain transaction as it cannot be accurate as the third complainant has no direct personal knowledge of the transaction of their relative, agent or other. This being said, since the complainant has no contract with us, did not and cannot supply a contract with her name on it, and was not present during any work at the referenced service call, she cannot be found creditable and her voice cannot be accurate in any complaintEven Hearsay from another does not hold water.Due to these facts we request the Revdex.com completely eradicate the complaint as it is NOT a VALID customer. This matter is closed on our end, no more correspondence will be responded to due to the above facts outlined by our company.Sincerely,Thomas ** W***PresidentWaldrong Electric HVAC LLC

For the Record let it be clear that all costs were quoted in advance and signed, and initialed for BEFORE any work was performedIn her complaint she states we refused to leave until her husband signed for the $1700.00"She has no Ideas what she is talking about as she was not present until the last minutes and they had a house full of people that were their that if their was an issue they would had clearly had the upper hand to force us to the door. The invoice sent by *** *** from *** *** ***, does not show not ANY proof of miss diagnostics form our endMoreover, *** *** *** was NOT their when we did out diagnostic testing to see what we foundBeing a Pa state Certified electrical Inspector, a registered Electrician and HVAC professional with over years experience we don't miss-diagnoseWe simply call it how we see it when were doing the testingThe motor could be spin by hand and was not tight, however I didn't not get ANY power to the MOTOR at any timeThe motor was a high end computerized controlled motor from Trane, not a simple 110v motorOne must understand and read the contract front and rear of the documents, made very obvious, just as when you take your car into the shop, There is no guarantee on diagnostic troubleshootingRefer to the initial service agreement when we gave an estimate to ***, (*** *** NOT present-upstairs entertaining guests)it reads, $for trip fee/ Additional for diagnostics and repairs, No Guarantee Techcan find the problem(s) This is due to the fact that today's furnaces for example, have sophisticated computer like components, specifically in this case, there is a circuit board and electronics that run /control the motorIf WE DO NOT GET POWER OUT OF THE CIRCUIT BOARD AT THE TIME WE TEST IT WE CANNOT MOVE FORWARD UNTIL WE REPLACE THOSE SOLID STATE PARTS THAT HAVE INTERNAL INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS. I spoke to *** *** Jan-and he told me they replaced the boardLater I find out they replaced a heat exchanger from calling the company they used, but they claim they had power @ the motor. It is not about miss-diagnosing the furnace, it appears its about the furnace being in an intermittent cycle, that when tested, shows one technician one or more possible conclusions, and then later the furnace internal intermittent problem swings the other way, or, they just just don't want to produce the separate invoice that the board needed replaced like he admitted to me in the Jan-phone conversation. These intermittent problems unfortunately are way too common in the furnace, electrical industry, and items that are controlled by computer chips. We had the same issues with company truck that we paid for REPAIRS that didnt fix the problemWe authorized the truck repairs recommended by the shop and it was still not correcting the problemI paid the bills over $as the shop made it clear there are no guarantees but this is the direction it appears to be going that we needed xxx repairs doneAt the end of the day we were all trying to find a solution and it was a month problemneedless to say it was an intermittent issue, and we sold the truckIn other words there is a point when you don't want to pay for any testing or repairs and you call on a holiday, the most expensive holiday, you need to hold your husband by the hand and do not let him sign up for work then try to get out from paying for man hours of testing. Being what the furnace displayed and how it performed with no Power to the blower and the blower not turning as designed when we tested it, we came to the conclusion as what was written on the invoiceMoreover, to See a cracked heat exchanger on a Trane, or a Trane XV stage furnace is easier to find an Albino Deer in the woodsthey usually run on low speed and almost never go into high , thus would never get hot enough to overheat the heat exchanger that is CRIMPED NOT WELDEDI don't see how you can sell a heat exchanger that is a non functioning part and say that is why the blower was not working when I was their.Sorry, we diagnosed the furnace accordingly to industry standardBeing that there are inconclusive story's at hand as well as the customer knew prior to any diagnostics being performed their are no guarantee when troubleshooting (see front and back of signed contract customer acknowledging such terms)Do yourself a favor and the next service company, DO NOT CALL FOR EMERGENCY SERVICE ON NEW YEARS DAY IF YOUR NOT PREPARED TO PAY A PREMIUM.NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN, WE HAVE EXPLAINED AS FAR AS WE CAN EXPLAIN, WE ARE NOT GOING TO BEAT THE DEAD HORSE ANY FURTHER.Tom WaldronWaldron Electric HVAC LLC

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The business has offered no resolution on this matter. I have attached proof of the diagnosis (i.eunsatisfactory service) provided by the business. The first two attachments are forms from the third party contractor who actually repaired the issue. As a note, MrWaldron, as part of his diagnosis, claimed that we needed a circuit board to repair the issue. This is noted in the third attachment (first line Task #2). I have also attached the document from the third party HVAC company. The first attachment is the diagnostic from the third party HVAC company. This plainly states that the blower was getting volts and spinning freely (which translates to the fact that the circuit board was not the issue, as the blower was getting power). In the second attachment, which is the invoice from the repairs provided, it states that the heat exchanger and variable speed module were replaced and that the system was running properly. This also confirms that the furnace was repaired without having to do anything to the circuit board Again, I do not feel it is fair to pay $for an improper diagnosis. I am requesting for this much to be refunded

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]Waldron electric was provided with a copy of the invoice of the service done to my mother's AC unit., as was the Revdex.com This information was faxed to the Revdex.com as part of the original complaint My last name is ***, and they would have no information on a Mr*** for obvious reasons My family members who were present that day have reiterated their accounts of the day of the repair in question, and they are consistent with their original complaints I have decided to retain a consumer affairs attorney on my mother ***'s behalf, and upon his advice, I will make no further comments on this issue

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. It is true that my father was the one present at the location during the interaction However, my father was given no authority either written or verbal to make decisions on my home on my behalf My father was given authority to allow the company access to the home and that was it My cell phone number was given to the company as a point of contact for all decisionsBusiness was not to be conducted with my father as he is not listed as an owner or occupant to the propertyThe contract should have been listed in my name as I am the person who hired the company and the work was to be conducted on my home If need be, my father can recount his experience as can my husband

The women filing the Revdex.com complaint was not involved in the initial phone calls disclosing the terms of service, therefore, this complaint is purely hearsay. Moreover, no meantion of beer was ever mentioned, and is highly inflammatory and vexatious to damage our reputation. The contract (see fax) has
the husband's full signatures and initials stating he AGREES HE WAS told prior to arriving that the trip fee was disclosed, and that there would be additional for any diognostics and any necessary repairsHe initialed prior to any work being performed and requested a diognostic on a premium holiday and his wife was NOT present when those discussions were taking place in reference to any furnace issues,or pricing of trip fees and diagnosticsHe signed up for the diagnostic and we proceeded with two techs @ man hours plus round trip travel on New Year's Day and evening. At the time of diagnostic testing of the furnace, the furnace burners came on, and the blower would not get power from the board to pull the air across the heat exchangerThus the high limit tripped out at degrees as designed. They wanted it fixed immediately, the price we quoted was at an emergency, holiday, evening rateThe furnace was only years old, anyone selling them a line about a cracked heat exchanger /new furnace should be cautious especially when the blower is not running.I spoke to the husband without any arguments after the service a day later or so , he complained about the price, told him he agreed to the estimate for diagnostic testing, and asked why would you sign up for a service then complain on a holiday evening AFTER you took the benefit of the serviceHe replied "i needed the service" I asked him did you get the furnace fixed,he replied, yes, I asked what was wrong...guess what he said??? The board!!!! The wife, and sister in law were extremendously rude, no appreciation for us coming out on Jan1st working in the single digits temperatures, no hospitality at all especially for living in a $500,plus house, No Class treated us like we were their minions and servants. The complaintant lied in her complaint about the repair needed, and we never charged for any repairsMoreover, there can be no guarantee when trouble shooting defective computer boards as they can be intermittentHowever, in this case the husband confirmed as well as we did that the board was bad. No one likes to pay emergency rates, however, companies use a large amount of resources delivering prime services to customers on holidays and eveningsI suggest they call service people non peak times to get a better rate in the future and not sign up for work then lie about the entire transaction to get out from paying for the services. Also, I see no proof of sale to support her claims that we were incorrect in our findings, and what was done to repair her husband's furnace after the holidayStrict proof is requested of the 2nd contractor's legit repair order, the name of the contractor, the technicians name, license number, check / credit card receipt proof of payment to that contractor for the exact amount. All will be strictly verifiedIf not submitted to this complaint then it shows the women is a scammer, as her husband Told me over the phone after the service call, we were correct, it needed a board.People that try to scam businesses cause higher prices for all of us

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I am so glad to have more than 2000 characters to further this complaint.  Tom Waldron and Waldron Heating,Cooling, and Electric tried to "Bully" both his employee and myself on1/6/2018.  Tom actually threatened his employee Joey that if he did not collect the money from me, Joey would be fired once he left my house.  At that point, I got on the phone and told Tom that he was not going to intimidate me on his price gouging, and furthermore, if he fired his employee for not stealing money from me, he could get another job immediately .  At that point, I told Tom and Joey that we have a security system on our home, with camera's, and I was going to call the police immediately to report this incident.  I did call the police in Murrysville, PA, and they have my report on file.  The officer also told me to contact Three Rivers, so they could know there subcontractor was ripping customers off.  That I did also on Saturday the 6th.  I had to call 5 different times on 1/8/18 to speak to someone at Three Rivers, and when he did call me back, he refused to give me his name, and hung up on me after saying for me to go ahead and report this issue as I did not pay anything.  This wasn't the reason for contacting the police and Revdex.com, it was to report the corrupt business of Waldron's.  Getting back to Joey leaving our home, a employee of [redacted]'s Service came out ONLY after I was lied to by Tom and Waldron 's for the past 2 days.  Furthermore without heat.  Anyone in there right mind would at this point try to get someone else out to their home.  If you recall, it was minus 20 on both 1/5/18, 1/6/18 and many days prior.  As for Joey lying to me about a 60 point diagnosis , something that does not exist, Tom seems to fail to answer that question or any other complaints against Waldrons.  Also the tech from [redacted]'s Service, said that any reputable company knows that when you remove the cover from your furnace, and see 3 flashing red lights, it means to check the water line.  He actually showed this to me.  In about 20 minutes, he cleaned the water line and our furnace has worked perfectly since Saturday.  Also, Joey told me it would take anywhere from 1-9 hours for this diagnosis.  So, forget about ordering pizza Tom, let's deal with the facts here, and how you and your employees seem to think its is OK to price gouge and lie to customers to make an extra buck.  Or should I say $2000.00 or more bucks if I had your company do the work on my furnace.  You should be ashamed of yourself, and your company. Also, my bill from [redacted]'s was $114.95.  What a HUGE, and I mean HUGE, difference in price.

[redacted]

This guy refused to pay the trip fee, got hostile and violent with my technician and called more than one contract to race to his house to get service despite's spending 30 min on the phone for free Friday night. His abuse will not be tolerate, there's no reason to call the police over you don't like...

the estimates given that's not a police matter. This is a price complaint and he ripped us off for the saterday $125 fee so have no  idea why he can't get over the situation he is out no money. Order 2 pizzas from two local pizza companies and you buy the first one that shows up,and screw the second guy, that's a BAD customer. He ripped us off, screamed at the staff and we gave him free tech help over the phone Friday night which he was happy to take.this complaint has no merit/ he don't like the estimates given. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Contraire to what Mr. Waldron is insisting, the diagnostics and invoice from [redacted] does indeed show that Mr. Waldron did not provide a correct diagnosis for our problem.  Per their diagnostic form, the blower WAS getting 120 volts of power and was spinning freely.  This implies that the circuit board WAS indeed working properly.  Furthermore, to clarify, the diagnosis for the nonfunctioning furnace was not the cracked heat exchanger.  Yes, the cracked heat exchanger was replaced, however it was found incidentally and was not the cause of the nonfunctioning furnace.  The cause of was a blown capacitor in the variable speed module.  I have attached a photo for reference of this part.  It clearly has a blown capacitor.  Per the invoice from [redacted], once this part was replaced, the furnace was working properly.  In regards to the phone conversation between my husband and Mr. Waldron, at that point of time, my husband mistakenly believed that the circuit board was being replaced by [redacted]  It was not until after this phone conversation, that he discovered that the circuit board did not need to be replaced or repaired.  Since replacing the variable speed module, we have experienced no issues with the furnace, and it has been functioning properly.  This contradicts Mr. Waldron's claim that issues with the circuit board can occur intermittently, as we have experienced no malfunctions since replacing the variable speed module.  If Mr. Waldron still believes that we are lying about having replaced the circuit board, we will invite him into our home to do a proper inspection of said circuit board.  He will find that it is the exact same circuit board that was present when he was in our home.  Of course, if he does want to inspect this board personally, we would request that a third party be present, ideally a police officer.  This would make me feel much more comfortable, as his demeanor was very threatening during our last experience with him.  As mentioned, I am happy to allow Mr. Waldron to inspect our furnace to prove that his diagnosis was incorrect.  If he is unwilling to accept that his diagnosis was incorrect, then the only reasonable explanation for this is that Mr. Waldron is simply continuing on with his history of unethical business practices.  I have read a number of articles/reviews citing examples of Mr.Waldron providing incorrect diagnoses and then overcharging for unnecessary services.  In this case, Mr. Waldron charged us for a service that he did not actually provide.  NO CORRECT DIAGNOSIS WAS GIVEN.  And then, he intimidated my husband into signing his contract.  I have discovered that the Confidentiality Clause of Mr.Waldron's contract is entirely illegal and is in violation of the Consumer Review Fairness Act.  In addition, I have found newspaper articles about other incidents of unethical business practices.  http://www.post-gazette.com/local/2008/03/21/Electrician-zapped-for-overchargi... summary, the paperwork from [redacted] does show that Mr. Waldron's diagnosis was incorrect.  If he would like to inspect our circuit board to assure that we are not lying about this, then he is welcome to.  It is completely unfair and unethical to expect us to pay $1475 for a service that Mr. Waldron did not provide.  We are agreeable to paying the $225.  If Mr. Waldron is unable to come to an agreement on this, I will be forced to seek action with the Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission.  From what I understand, there are already a number of complaints with the Attorney General's Office.  And the Federal Trade Commission welcomes complaints on businesses who violate the Consumer Review Fairness Act.  I would prefer to resolve this in a less inflammatory fashion.

Dear Revdex.com,Please see all authorizations on contract, including initials, prices and terms.Customer took issue with $85.00 Trip fee, so we lowered it to $75.00 for customer satisfaction, See his initials approving such charge top right of contract along with terms.Spoke to him and wife over phone...

BEFORE arriving, they said others were tampering with wiring due to loss of power misc areas of home.I gave them a ball park and my total cost when done with the work was $1000-$2000 under the telephone estimate depending how bad their handy man damaged the wiring, they accepted the range.Upon arrive gave diagnostic estimate to husband, he had to ask permission to wife on phone. I talked to wife she approved all charges said fix it as she was at work.Customer Mr [redacted] initials for trip fee if $75 and diagnostic as reflected on contract. I found the problem, he started complaining about the price so I repaired his lights and receptacles for free. He thentried to get me to do more work for free on an outside receptacle and cut out a 50 foot line, I told him $575.00 he balked xxxxxxx, so I said you do it then, he agreed, see the contract he initials he refused to pay for the receptacle junction box and line repair. However I fixed his all his lights in the house for free and he still xxxxxxx. Then he started giving me an attitude once his lights were fixed trying to degrade me, at that point I was done working for these people, on minute there all like ya fix all electrical lights in my house, then when you fix it they start giving you a hard time trying to get you to do all this extra free work. The contract clearly outlines and is obvious that if you need more work there is a cost associated with it.He signed a full satisfaction and that he would take full responsibility for any future electrical repairs ie: gfi junction box etc. See his initial on the contract.Twenty minutes later his ungrateful wife calls me screaming that $875 to fix half her lights and plugs in her house is ridiculous. I asked her why was she so upset and surprised, I told you the cost over the phone you said fix it and your husband signed up for it and I came in $2000 under what your approved on the phone. She went on that her handyman where cheaper and I told her you handy man ho boze could not find the problem for 2 days if you want a professional you have to pony up and pay a pro. There like Jekle and Hyde, when they need you they bow down to you, then the second you f ix it they tell you you're a xxxxxxx and xxxxxxxxxxxx. These people are unbalanced and I request they never call my business again. All contract terms were completed and they received the repair by restoring their lights that was the call for service at no additional repair cost like the top portion of the contract outlines. This is all price complaint. Should not even be in file. Please forward to [redacted] to review. Waste my time on this baseless complaint with no merit.Customer is blacklisted , Do no call use again for service, use you incompetent handymen and see how far you get.Tom W[redacted]Waldron ElectricPresident and PA State Electrical Inspector.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThe facts of the situation are as follows:1) I am the HOMEOWNER of the property and hired Waldron Electric to perform a house call.2) I, as the one hiring, agreed to the $85 trip fee.  Any additional fees were to be discussed with me in full detail as I am the homeowner.  My cell phone number was given and all decisions were to be made by me. 3) Any information that was provided in previous statements was done by my experiences with Waldron Electric via phone.  4) As stated before, my father and husband would be more than happy to recount their horrible customer service interaction with Waldron Electric.5) From my perspective, this is not a closed case and I would like further follow up and a refund of the $875 for services that were not authorized by the homeowner.

If you simply scroll down to view the attached photo, (below the cat box and water heater)  you will see the blown capacitor on the variable speed module.  This was the part of the furnace that was not functioning. Not the circuit board.  We were not informed of the inflated cost of diagnostics until after Mr. Waldron had been in our home. If we had been informed prior to the diagnostics that it would cost $1700 total to perform it, we would not have moved forward with this.  Furthermore,  I don’t understand where the business owner is getting six man-hours. He was in our home for no more than 2 1/2 hours. This is also being inflated.  It is completely unreasonable for a business to charge this amount of money for a WRONG diagnosis. We were not informed in advance that it would cost this amount of money. And, we did not actually receive any type of correct service. The business deserves the $225 for coming to the home. To expect consumers to pay $1700 for an incorrect diagnosis is completely unreasonable.
