we have reviewed Mr***'s complaint regarding his account with usIt originated with *** *** *** it is the deficiency amount left over from his *** *** and the reporting status was updated by *** *** when they sold the account to Credit Solutions CorpWe held the account days

In Regards to Mr***s rejection, first he has not provided and documentation to support his position that he paid his portion of the settlementThe credit Union received the following payments on his account since the deal was made with him and the car dealership $7,on 06/22/(from the dealer), then from Mr*** $on 09/17/10, $on 11/29/10, $on 12/3010, and $ on 7/25/11, they have received no other payments, this information comes directly from *** **It is true that the account is past the statute to pursue legal action, but we have never said we were gong to pursue legal action and have no plans to, But the account in still with in the legal reporting stature to be reported to Mr***'s credit historyIf Mr*** has documents showing he paid his full part of the settlement please forward them to us for review and confirmation with *** **,If you or Mr*** have any further questions please contact me personally at *** *** *** ext***.Sincerely,*** ***Quality Control/Compliance OfficerCredit Solutions Corp

This is unacceptable and inaccurate, I WAS threatened with legal action through an attorney over the phone, I AM IN FACT LEGALLY REQUIRED TO BE NOTIFIED BEFORE a collection agency reports me to a consumer reporting agency, this is PARKING OLD DEBT, and this is a lie. I will be contacting the phone number listed

we have spoken with Mr*** and have said we will obtain the validation and forward it to him to validate his debtAnd again we have followed the Law in reporting Mr***'s debt, if he feels there is an error he should contact the credit reporting agencies and they will inform him we did it legally?

First we checked our call records and only five calls were made to Mrs*** in the last two weeks, three were no answer and no message was left, one another person answered and said she was not in, no message was left, and one on 09/13/where we spoke to Mrs***She said the account was

Revdex.com:I talked with American Heritage and they are advising they still own this account; and is the only collector that will update my credit report.  I would like a letter from the collector advising that American Heritage sold the debt to them for collection, and that their collection agency is licensed to collected in Pennsylvania.  I also talked with Experian and they are investigating this too given the confusion around ownership of the account.
While I have been offered a Settlement by the Collection Agency, I am still not sure why the original credit (American Heritage) is attempting to collect the debt and advising they are the only ones who can update my credit report since they have been reporting on it for almost 7 years - and they have the "Date of First Deliquency" documented too on previous reports along with the orginal credit information to verify the account.

And again we have followed the Law in reporting Mr. [redacted]'s debt, if he feels there is an error he should contact the credit reporting agencies and they will inform him we did it legally.

We have received the complaint from Mr. [redacted] and have investigated. The debt originated with [redacted] as a vehicle loan. We contacted the Credit Union for information on the account. It is true there was a settlement on the account, for $8,800 to resolve it, the dealership ([redacted]...

[redacted]) was to pay $7,000.00 and Mr. [redacted] was to pay $1,800.00. The dealership paid their portion of $7,000.00, unfortunately Mr. [redacted] only paid $342.00 toward his portion of the settlement. the car was released to the dealership but since Mr. [redacted] did not pay his portion the settlement expired and the remaining balance is now due on the account, had he paid his portion the account would have been closed. We verified with [redacted] that the account was closed and recalled from them on 08/23/16 before it was sent to Credit Solutions Corp. This is not correct, I did, however, inform them that their initial response was erroneous in that I NEVER REFUSED TO PAY if this is in fact a legal collection attempt, and sent a fax informing them of my intent to settle the matter with them should they be able to prove that this attempt is legal which IT ISN'T.  Sending a letter to the "best presumed address" before reporting me to the CRAs does not constitute adherence to the FCRA or FDCPA.  The person I spoke to on the phone was adversarial and abrasive in tone, then tried to guilt-trip me into paying this debt by saying "This is a valid collection, you know it is, we know it is, you bought a car, it was repossessed, this covers the difference", as if I'm supposed to be ashamed of myself.  That is typical Debt collector tactics, and I'm not buying into it, this debt, as of earlier this year, was reported as a CHARGE OFF with NO OUTSTANDING BALANCE, now it shows up as a NEW DEBT as of 10/15, that's parking OLD DEBT and is illegal.  I will not take this, I've also filed a complaint with  the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, who strangely enough hasn't reported that they've responded, because they have NO PROOF OF STANDING, this is an illegal attempt, and the only thing they MAY be able to provide in 30 days is a contract between me and a separate company for debt that company already CHARGED OFF IN FULL, until this new company stepped in.

We held the account 30 days...

before reporting it, sent a letter to the address we had as required by law. We are not required to notify someone before we report an account to the credit bureaus, [redacted] was already on there as a negative (charge off). the account was placed with our legal department after he spoke with one of our representatives and refused to pay his account, Mr. [redacted] was never threatened with a lawsuit. we have received his request for validation of his debt on 11/05/15 and have requested the validating information from [redacted] and will forward it to Mr. [redacted] as soon as we receive it and within the 30 day dispute period given by law. We have reviewed Mr. [redacted]'s reply and can assure you we do have his account and should recall American Heritage. Once his account is paid we will notify American Heritage and they will update his credit profile. Credit Solutions Corp is not currently reporting the debt on his credit history, due to the fact we do not report a debt for 30 days after receiving it, the 30 days will expire in January. We did offer Mr. Upsure a settlement to close his accounts as stated in the letter we sent him, that offer will expire on 12/31/14. And as stated in our previous response we are waiting for the documentation from American Heritage and will forward it to Mr. [redacted] as soon as we receive it.
